" Your majesty, The party has been prepared,  do come quickly "

A green and seemingly old dragon came out of nowhere, Rachiel was a little startled but quickly regained her composure. 

" As though her majesty has not ordered me to do so, I have invited many dragons far and wide through out our territory to witness this joyous event. "

The queen Alina was happy, this butler was a comrade who knew her for quite a long time, thus she was content that her butler knew what exactly what do.

" As expected of you Altair, our time together was not a waste "

Altair the green dragon let out a warm chuckle.

" You flatter me your majesty, but I knew you when you were still a little lass so it is to be expected "

In response to that sentence the old dragon let out a prideful face.

"This elderly being was with mother for a long time? " Rachiel thought. Then Altair noticed the little princess, just less than half a size than him.

" Ah! your highness the pride and joy of all dragon kind."

Altair paused for a moment as he noticed the glimmiring silver scales, Then was replaced by a distant look.

" My... you truly look like that young lad "

And after saying that Altair smiled.

" Young lad? My father? "

" Cough* We must get going, as it would be shameful if we kept the others waiting. "

" Of course your majesty "

" Come here little one, hold my hand "

Of course little Rachiel obeyed the orders, and seconds later, teleported on top of a massive rock, the rock has a flat surface on top which makes it suitable for a dragon to sit comfortably on top.

After apearing there, the most of the crowd below silenced themselves and paid attention to the gold dragon in front of them. Many dragons saw the young princess and bowed slightly as show respect. The young princess however, still isn't quite used to this yet. She merely avoided eye contact with most dragons.

Altair then coughed resulting of many more dragons to pay attention, After he was content, he then proceeded with his speech.

" We Dragons, one of the caretakers of the world and the embodiment of magic. The dragons who once lived in harmony alongside the mortal races. We thought of them as friends, even taught them magic. However... we.. we were foolish to think that they were our comrades. After many decades have past, the mortals envied our wealth, got jealous of our abilities. And behind our backs they made powers...magic all designed to kill the upper beings.

Altair paused and many elderly dragons remembered the past as it was yesterday and had a resentful look on their face.

" During the war many humans were praised for getting the heads of our kins. So hunting dragons was a trophy for every kingdom. Slowy our kind perished. The late king Ildris was tired seeing the war between the upper being and the mortals and was foolish to think he can sort out the problem by reasoning... he believed there was still goodness in them. The king died in the hands of a mortal. A death we did not expect to have for over a millennium. 

But he did not die without honor he destroyed the very weapons designed to kill us and created a safe haven for us.

  So we are very joyous when a new dragon has birthed and the new heir of the throne, so as to celebrate the hatching of her royal highness, her majesty has prepared a royal and extravagant banquet to eat and enjoy to your hearts content!"

After Altair had made his speech, many dragons clapped, no repeatedly banged their tails on the ground which resulted of the ground shaking.

'  Huh? '

That was a lot to take in for Rachiel, who has been recently hatched, But one thing she took in was her fathers name.

'  Ildris. '

' My father? Harmony between mortals and dragons? but was then ended? *mumble *mumble '

When Rachiel was still in her own thoughts, the smell of food quickly dissipated her thoughts, in front of her was a lavish amount of food or should she say meat. The meat dishes vary, like some were roasted or some were just served raw. Rachiel was surprised at the quantity of the foods, she couldnt have this much meat when she was at the hospital. She needed to have a balanced diet in order for her to become healthy, so naturally she had this uneasy look on her face.

Alina who noticed her daughter has a conflicted look on her face she reassured her that shes okay to eat many food as she wants as shes still a child. That advice helped her a bit and convinced herself.

' *sigh I guess I should eat, theres no doctors and nurses monitoring you right now. '

Rachiel took a bite, slowly and hesitantly. As the meat entered her mouth she felt she was in heaven the food was never something she had at the hospital, the meat was full of flavor with every bite. Unlike the cold, tasteless food she was used to, at the hospital. 

Because the food was something she never had before. She couldnt help shed a tear, and that single tear contained so much joy.

' Ah, so this was one of the things I couldnt experince. '

im sorry this was short and took a long time to post, im very busy with the whole pandemic and stuff so i dont have enough time to write my novel but ill write it when i have free time and not tired.
