In a large empty underground room,

Jay was sitting on the park bench, seeing the bodies of the two figures move. Their legs touched each other, their skin glistening with sweat, trying to find each other's weak spot.

Until one of them landed on the ground, with the other on top of her.

Jay smiled, watching Natasha keep her forearm on top of Felicia's neck, a smile on her face, "I won."

Felicia breathed heavily, "you have the unfair advantage."

Natasha got on her feet, putting her hand in front of Felicia, "look who is talking."

Jay stood up, throwing two towels towards them, "My turn. Who's accompanying me?"

Felicia wiped her sweat, "I am tired. You two have fun."

Jay shifted his eyes towards Natasha, who tapped her leg on the ground, forming two AT's, "I am ready. Are you?"

Jay swung his hands towards the side, and two circular magic shields appeared on his palms, "I am ready as well."

The nanobots moved, forming two swords that Natasha held in her hand, rushing forward. She slashed the sword towards his neck, making Jay raise his hand, shifting the forming another shield at the back of his hand. The sword collided against the shield, forming the sparks, but that wasn't what bugged Jay. It was the power transferred from that collision reaching AT's. It was a familiar ability, "Kinetic Energy."

Natasha narrowed her green eyes, thunder covered the sword that she was holding, her body shifting, effortlessly moved around him.

Rotating backward, kicking the side of his waist, breaking the magic shields he created, electric current rushing through his body. Even as his body turned, he opened the portal, appearing behind Natasha, slamming his palm on her back.

But she didn't move. Instead, all the energy from the attack transferred to the AT's. As she rotated, slamming the AT's on his chest, throwing his body backward, destroying the skin of the underground room, revealing shiny alloy walls.

Jay coughed, getting on his feet, "that was a nice trick. How about you cool down a bit?"

A magic circle appeared beneath Natasha, freezing her ATs moving towards her legs. Natasha looked down, her wheels moving faster to increase the heat around them. At the same time, chains appeared at the back of her swords, which she used to throw her swords towards Jay. But Jay stopped them with a large magic shield, "that won't work."

Natasha glanced towards the swords, "I know."

Jay felt something was wrong, glancing down, and the swords blinked, blasting. They created a large explosion to break through the shield, causing burns to appear on top of his palms, "damn! You are going all out. That is not what nanobots are for."

Natasha created a plasma gun in both her hands, pointing towards Jay, "I haven't even started going out."

Natasha fired the guns, making Jay widen his eyes, opening four portals. Plasma beams passed from two, coming out from the other two, colliding against each other, "you are crazy!! You could have killed me!"

Natasha put the gun on top of his head, "Is that so? Why don't I believe it that you will be killed by something like this."

Jay waved his hand. Natasha turned upside down, with Jay taking her hand, pointing the gun in her face, "I will die."

Natasha looked at him, a bit surprised, "what did you do just now?"

"Magic," Jay stood up, "I have mastered many magic arts. It gets confusing sometimes."

Natasha stood up, shaking her head, "that's not what I am talking about. You created four portals. How did you do that? From what I read about magic...you can't do that."

"Ah, that. Unlike other people, my mind is capable of carrying out multiple thoughts or calculations simultaneously. So, you know. I can create more than just four portals or simultaneously use more magic than others. One of the reasons why I learned magic," Jay took a white towel from Felicia, rubbing his hands, his wounds healing.

Natasha nodded, walking over when Echo's voice resounded in this room, "Sir, there is something urgent."

Jay paused, "what is it?"

"Protection Target: Mary Walker, she and her team were captured by Sakovian Armed Forces. We were about to interfere when she awakened another personality and killed all the guards. We have contacted the US Armed Forces, leaving to find them."

Natasha raised her head, "Protection Target?"

"The people that have made contact with Primo. Felicia was a Protection Target before she awakened her powers," Jay said, lost in thought, "Hmm, keep an eye on her. Make a detailed record of her actions."

Felicia raised her finger, offended, "you keep an eye on me too?"

Jay rolled his eyes, "I have to. To delete all the electronic data that you leave behind when you steal things. Otherwise, you might be in a SHIELD jail right about now."

Natasha shook her head, sitting beside her, packing her things in the bag, "don't listen to him. SHIELD wouldn't come after you. Not until they realize that you have superpowers."

She took out a circular device, throwing it on the ground, opening a portal, "anyway. I have a mission, so I need to go."

Jay crossed his legs, his eyes following her, "have you thought about coming back to work for me?"

Natasha took up her bag, hanging on her shoulder, turning her head back to look at him, "I hate desk jobs."

She fell down the portal, taking the circular device, and the floor turned into cubes coming together.

Felicia glanced towards the place where the portal was, "becoming an agent sounds like a good idea."

Jay chuckled to himself, glancing at her, "you an agent? I swear you would be suffocated by all the rules that place has. You are better a thief."

Felicia walked over, hugging her from behind, kissing his neck, licking the sweat off it, "you taste so good."

Jay closed his eyes, "I really don't have the time. I need to be somewhere too. And your final semester exams are going on, aren't they?"

Felicia slid her hands down to his waist, putting them inside his t-shirt, "yeah? I don't have any today. The last one is tomorrow."

Jay pulled away, opened two portals, "yeah. But I have work to do. I'll see you tonight?"

"No, I am busy tonight," Felicia picked up her things, moving towards the portals. But Jay held her shoulder, "please tell me that you are not going to steal a night before your exam?"

"Ok, I won't tell you." Felicia walked inside the portal, waving her hand at him.

Jay closed her portal, sighing, "I seem to have a thing for troublesome women."

He stepped into the portal, coming out inside his two-bedroom apartment, with Echo's voice resounding, "you mean independent women?"

"No, I mean troublesome." Jay started taking off his clothes when his phone rang.

"Sir, it's Tony Stark."

"Oh, let the call through," Jay threw the sweaty t-shirt on the sofa, turning his eyes towards the holographic Tony, "what is it?"

Tony showed an invitation, "here, an invitation to Grand Prix, and we are going."

Jay blinked, "are you still dying?"

Tony rolled his eyes, crossing his legs, "No. But we have been working for so long. Don't you think we need a break? I haven't seen you since you started working from your home."

Jay curled his lips, "you do know that sofa doesn't appear in the hologram? You look stupid."

Tony stood up, "come to my place. We are leaving. And bring your girlfriend." He cut the call without even waiting for Jay to answer.

Jay took off his other clothes, walking the bathroom, turning on the hot shower, feeling the water droplets on his body.

Today was the 22nd of May, and it had been a year and a half since the expansion of Stark Industries started.

After nearly a year, when Natasha was called back to SHIELD, he started working from home. Well, it was more like he started working from here so that Echo could do all the work without the risk of getting caught.

The world was changing, progressing because of the things that Stark Industries created.

And when he said that world, he meant the world, not just America. The idea was to spread these techs throughout the world so that when the convergence takes place. He could have some control over the world. Even though it had been a year and a half, Nadia still hadn't been able to awaken him in the other worlds on a collision course.

In fact, he (from the parallel universes) tried to go to those worlds, but someone was getting in the way. If he wasn't wrong, then it was those TVA bastards. The encounter with them wasn't all that good. But then, that is the story for another time.

Right now, he would rather just have the shower.
