Primo opened his eyes at night, getting up from his bed, wearing white pinstripe pajamas and a loose navy blue t-shirt. He walked out of the room, crossing the kitchen, moving to the living room.

His eyes fell on the black, bald man with an eyepatch, sitting on his sofa, drinking coffee, "that's creepy on so many levels."

"Hello, Mr. Primo Prometheus. I have been trying to find you for so many years."

"I know. I enjoyed watching you try," Primo said, sitting down, leaning back on the adjacent sofa chair.

Nick shot a look at him, "I am sure you did."

"What do you want, Fury?" Primo rubbed his eyes, feeling sleepy.

"I should be the one asking you. Forging papers, becoming a citizen of America? Adopting a girl from Hydra? What are you trying to do?"

Primo shrugged, "well, I did retire. But I didn't know what to do with my life. So I came back, but then I met Ruby, and the child needed help. So, I retired again, adopting her at the same time. Although she doesn't know that she is adopted, I had to rewrite portions of her memories; she doesn't remember anything related to Hydra. Anyway, what would you take to stay away from my life?"

"The Hydra prisoners."

"Don't have them. I told you I am retired; the prisoners are with Jay."

"The World Security Council thinks that you have then, and now that you have surfaced, it would be a problem. Especially one you have that girl to take care of."

Primo chuckled, "Nick...I boast of being one of the protectors of the Earth. If I can't protect one little girl, then I am a failure."

"Protector of Earth? You?" Nick scoffed, "you didn't even take care of Hydra when you could have."

Primo softly smiled, "you should already know. That is not what I was doing all those years. How many?"

Nick stared at his coffee cup, "26."

"Hm, that's interesting. It was a one-time thing."

Nick leaned back, "do you know about Avenger's Initiative?"

"You mean Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Jay Scarlet, Steeve Rogers, Thor, and Hawkeye? Yes. I know."

Nick Fury raised his eyebrow, "Jay's last name is Scarlet?"

He cleared his throat, "anyway, I want you to be part of it. In return, I will do everything to make sure your life stays as peaceful as I can."

Primo thought for a bit, "hmm, ok? If something that big happens, then I will be on the front lines anyway."

Nick gaped for a moment, "you mean you agree?"

Primo warmly smiled, "Yes. I don't mind. Anyway, you already must know my new number, right? Call me tomorrow. I have a job interview, so I want to get my eight hours of beauty sleep."

He stood up, cracking his neck, "wash that cup and lock the door once you leave."

Nick blankly blinked, turning his eye towards the cup, putting his finger on the comms, "Yes. I want an agent to come inside empty-handed."

Soon, the door opened and a tall woman with golden hair, wearing a tight bodysuit walked inside, "Sir?"

Nick Fury stood up, reaching the room, "Agent Mockingbird, clean the cup and close the door before leaving. We have procured another apartment on this floor. Live here, and take care of any problem that he has."

He closed the door behind him, leaving Mockingbird alone, causing her to blankly stare at the cup, "you had to come in first, didn't you?"

She put her hand on her comm, "anyone of you wants to take my place?"

Even though she was hoping, there was no reply from the other side, making her pick the coffee cup, "of course not."

The Next Day,

Primo filled the last bit of forms, giving it to the woman sitting in the admission office.

He looked towards May Parker, sitting beside him, typing on her smartphone, "thank you so much for all the help."

May Parker looked up, still a bit distracted, before smiling, "no need to thank me. It's hard being a single parent."

Primo stood up, taking the receipt, "where do you work? How about I drop you?"

"Oh, no. My office is just around the corner, and then I have to take some of my files from my house."

Primo glanced down at his casual clothes, "I need to get a suit as well. I have my job interview. Wait, should I leave Ruby? Or should she start tomorrow?"

Ruby was off, watching the school as if it suited her needs, making him wonder.

"That's all right. Let Ruby attend few classes today. You can get books, notebooks, and other things tomorrow."

Primo smiled, "that sounds like a good plan. Let's just hope that she agrees to that."

The two of them walked out of the admission office, looking at the waiting area, when Primo's eyes fell on Ruby, playing on the cell.

He walked over, sitting down beside her, "here, sweety. Your new school Id."

Ruby glanced towards the Id, looking at her picture, "yay...can we go back to the new, new, new apartment now?"

Primo rubbed her head, "you are attending your classes since you are starting so late. But I highly doubt my genius girl would have any trouble keeping up, right?"

Ruby curled her lips, taking the card, "I am keeping the cell."

Primo took the cell, "yeah, right. No. Now be a good girl and go to the class."

Ruby grimaced, walking away when Primo cleared his throat, making her trudge back towards him.

He bent down as she kissed his cheek, "have a good day, Dad."

"Enjoy your day, love." Primo kissed her forehead as she ran away with a face filled with shame.

May Parker chuckled, "kids."

"I have a feeling we are going to be saying that a lot," Primo smiled.

Shortly,

Primo adjusted his tie in front of the mirror, looking towards his cell. He slid his thumb up as he walked out of the house.

He looked towards the left, hesitating before looking towards the right. He walked over, knocking on the neighboring house door.

It didn't take long before a tall and beautiful woman opened the door. She wore a short tank top showing her tight body and mini shorts, which exposed her thighs, "are you selling something?"

Primo looked up, nodding, "Yes, do you want to do the borning mission of keeping an eye on me? Or would you like to do an undercover mission with me?"

The woman scrutinized him, "are you ok? Maybe you should try the doctor?"

Primo showed her the screen of his cell, "this is you, right?"

The woman with golden hair, blue eyes looked at the cell when Primo said, "Barbara Morse. You prefer Bobbi Morse and your code name is Mockingbird. You have a degree in Biology, right? It might finally come in handy."

Bobbi looked at the cell, raising her eyebrow with an impressed look, "it has everything. So, what kind of undercover mission?"

Primo chuckled, "it would be better than here. You don't look like someone who likes stopping and resting."

AIM, New York Headquarters,

Primo was sitting in the room, waiting for the leader to come in. Agent Bobbi Morse was waiting outside since he didn't want her to see this part.

Soon, a handsome came walking in, with a smile hanging on his face, "Mr. Primo. I read your report on the Extremis."

He stood behind Primo, taking out a gun, putting it on the back of his head, "Now. How did you know about the Extremis, and whom else did you tell."

Primo narrowed his orange eyes when his body disappeared, causing Aldrich to panic.

Abruptly, he felt two hands on his neck, and his eyes became heavy, "it was you, Aldrich Killian. Who invited Bobbi and me to work on the formula."

"I did?" Aldrich's eyes looked hypnotic as he asked.

"Yes. You did."
