"What is that?! None of our sensors are reaching near it!" Fitz panicked, looking at the screen.  It was like a storm was coming down from the sky. Everything around it was twisted, "even the space is twisting because of it."

"It's coming right for us! Activate all the outer defenses!!" Coulson ordered, staring at the screen.

"Stop, stop, stop," Jay walked over, combing his messed up hair with his fingers, adjusting his clothes, "what are you guys doing?"

"Stopping that, creature, thing, or whatever it is?" Skye pointed towards the monitor.

Jay scratched his cheek, "yeah, that's not a creature, thing, or whatever. She's an agent, and it seems it's urgent."

He opened a portal, and a woman entered. But the moment he closed it - a hurricane appeared on the lake.

Jay looked at the woman in a blackbody suit, wearing black boots, turned around to look at him with her green eyes, "we have an alien invasion on our hands."

"Hmm," Jay raised his hand to touch her hair, "you changed it to a lighter color. I like the old one better."

"Seriously? Seriously!!!" Fitz raised his hands, turning around, "she just said that we an alien invasion on our hand and that it all you have to say?"

Jay shrugged, "what? I like the old one better!"

Natasha held his palm, smiling, "it's good to see you too."

Coulson frowned, looking at Jay, "you are not worried about an alien invasion?"

Skye stared at him, "you are not worried about alien invasion because...?"

"Well, Earth is a center of a multiversal event. Having a portal opened with the use of Tesseract...with something of that caliber with weaken that dimensional barrier, and accelerate the event," Jay shrugged.

He let out a breath, smiling at Natasha, "in short, don't worry about it. Since you are here, Avengers Protocol has been activated?"

Natasha nodded, "yeah, I was asked to call for you."

Jay lightly smiled, "come on, I want to hear all about what you have been up to."

"What are we supposed to do?" Simmons nervously asked.

"Activate Convergence Protocol," Jay waved his hand, walking towards his room with Natasha beside him.

He ignored the stir behind him, looking towards Natasha, "so, what have you been up to?"

Natasha let out a breath, "well, I have been essentially working with Peggy, Captain, and Yelena. Nick also wanted me to keep an eye on the Red Room. So, basically same old, same old."

She turned to look at him, scrutinizing him, "you have been busy?"

Jay shrugged, "well, Coulson does everything. Skye and Mack are also taking responsibility. So, basically, things are running themselves. I am just a face for the alliances between the different parties like Attilan, Wakanda, Inhuman Base, Kamar-Taj, Avengers, Red Room, and all that."

Natasha opened the door to his office, looking at the girl lying on the sofa, "yeah, I can see you are enjoying your position."

Jay smiled, adjusting the blanket on sleeping Crystal, covering her whole body, "that I am."

Natasha leaned against the table, looking at him.

She held his t-shirt when he was about to pass by her. Pulling him in front of her, clutching his collar, "what are you doing?"

Jay looked at her, "what?"

Natasha glared back, "I have seen the reports. Be it you or Primo. He's spending all his time with that little girl, acting like her father, as if he has some normal family. Maybe something he wanted to have all his life, and you. Drowning yourself in alcohol and women, the two of you don't think we are going to survive, do you?"

"Wow, that's harsh," Jay chuckled, freeing himself from her grasp, "no, that is not what I am worried about. I have already prepared."

"Then what is it? Everyone who knows about this is looking at you and Primo, and the two of you are acting like it's the end of the world," Natasha turned around, staring at him.

Jay sat down on the chair, circling his finger, and a portal appeared on top of him, dropping a water bottle, "what do you want, Natasha? I told you, Convergence Protocol has been activated. The Agents in Lighthouse can't provide you with any help."

Natasha curled her fingers in frustration, slumping her head down. She took a deep breath before she swept her hand, cleaning everything from the table.

She jumped up on the table, sliding forward, fixing legs on the side of the chair, pulling him closer, "I am serious. What is going on with you?"

"Mmm...I am not drowning myself in alcohol."

"Women then," Natasha narrowed her eyes.

Jay raised his hand, putting it in front of her, which Natasha stared at. She raised her hand, taking it, interlocking her fingers with him, "what?"

Jay stared at their hands, playing with her finger. He stroked her finger with his finger, "it's complicated...the closer the Convergence is getting...let's just say that I am becoming numb."

Natasha softly sighed, caressing his head, "So, this had something to do with the Convergence and nothing to do with the chance of us failing."

"I told you...I won't not going to fail. The Earth won't be destroyed, that I can promise," Jay whispered.

Natasha slid forward, falling down on his lap, wrapping her hands around his neck. She put her forehead on his, kissing his lips, "can you feel this?"

Jay put his hands on her waist, standing up. He put her on the table, gently kissing her cheek, "I have somewhere else to be."

Natasha parted her lips; her eyes followed his walk away as she sloshed her tongue over her lips, "seriously? You are still angry about the breakup thing?"

Jay chuckled, hesitating, "if I was angry, then I'd be over the fact that in two years, you never replied to any of my calls. Or the fact that you didn't even try to contact me. Not this. I have work to do." He opened the portal, leaving the room.

Natasha tilted her head back, getting off the table. She sat down on the chair, putting her hands on the table, "Echo, what is going on?"

"He's getting old."

Natasha raised her eyebrow, "he got old in two years?"

"You don't have the clearance."

"Oh," Natasha narrowed her eyes, putting her hands together on her stomach.

New York Sanctum,

Ancient One walked down the stairs, sitting down beside Jay, without saying anything.

Jay leaned against the railing of the chair, "how close is it?"

"Three days...that's all that is left."

Jay ran his hand through his hair, puffing out his cheek, tightening his lips, letting out a breath, "shit. Can't we just stop it? What if I destroy the Space Stone?"

"Ok."

Jay slumped his head, "hmm, but that might create variable if the other Space Stones from the TVA don't work. After all, if the Univeral Frequency of the Space Stone doesn't match with the other Infinite Gems..."

"Then don't."

Jay leaned on the ladders, putting his head on the ladder, "Teach...I am tired."

"I know...just hold on for three more days...you can rest then."

Jay tiredly chuckled, "that is about 8 years for me."

"Ok, then don't. Kill yourself, and wait for yourself to way up. By the time you would be around eight years old. That should be more than enough," Ancient One lightly smiled.

"Teach..."

"I know...you hate me."

"I hate you..." Jay slumped down, "Just eight more years. I should get ready."

Ancient One opened the Eye of Agomoto, taking out the Time Stone, "here."

Jay held the Time Stone, putting it on his forehead, where it mostly sank, leaving only a trace of it on his forehead.

He opened a portal formed with scarlet sparks when Ancient One spoke, "will you be able to control the other body?"

"Yes. I can," Jay whispered, with a smile hanging on his face.
