Los Angeles, California,

Primo was standing on the roof's ledge, looking at the fighting in the alleyway.

He was wearing a three-piece pinstripe suit and a black ankle-length cloak. He kept his elbow on this thigh, supporting his chin on his palm, with a ring on his finger.

Elektra held the katana, but the Rider stopped her attacks with his forearm. No matter how much skill she used, how many slashes slipped through his wild defenses. It didn't matter.

"This guy is invulnerable!"

Bobbi Morse sneaked behind him, using her staves to try and electrocute him. His body shook for a moment, but he freed himself, trying to attack her.

The moment he turned, Jessica Jones jumped in, attacking his back, throwing him in the distance. Riders body hit the trash, "he's not invulnerable to strength!"

Matt Murdock was standing behind them, with a red mask covered the upper half of his face. Even without his eyes, he could see, "that did nothing but annoy him. He's too dangerous, he touches us, we are dead. We can't even hurt him. We should retreat."

Bobbi put her finger on the comm, "Primo! We need to retreat!"

Suddenly, she heard the sound of metal scratching against the wall, making her lookup.

Her eyes fell on Primo, sliding down the vertical wall, with his heels and palm rubbing against the wall as he slid down. As he got closer to the floor, he jumped forward, landing on the ground, clapping the dust off his palm, "this was much easier when I could teleport and fly."

Jessica shot a look at him, "if you are done showing off. Can we retreat?"

"Houwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!"

Primo glanced towards the howling sound, warmly smiling at them, "yeah, but you looked great working together. I didn't have the heart to break it up."

"He's coming!" Murdock shouted, warning him when Primo raised his hand, and a small flame covered his palm.

Even the Ghost Rider stopped, making Jessica's eyes shine with sarcasm, "don't you think there is a difference in size?"

"Wow, cheap shot," Primo chuckled, walking over, putting his hand on a confused Riders chest. Nanites came out of his ring, forming a glove with blue crystals and the roman numeric I. The flames started flickering, "but mine can do this."

A layer of ice started forming around the Rider, freezing his energy and body. The Rider started howling, screaming,

He held Primo's hand, trying to burn it when he confusedly looked at Primo. But the moment was enough to seal his hand, before his body was sealed, up to his neck.

The fire dimmed down, skin regenerated back on his face, and Ghost Rider disappeared.

Primo looked at the man trapped inside the ice that even the hell flames couldn't melt, "Mr. Reyes, hello."

"What are you?" Reyes glared at him, asking.

"It's not a what. It's a who, we are with the SHIELD," Bobbi walked forward, "and your killings are making many people very uncomfortable. They want you off the street."

Reyes grunted, trying to get free, when Primo pointed at the sky, "look."

Reyes glared at him when Primo cupped his neck, using his thumb to push his head back, making him look upwards. There was moonlight in the sky, but there was also the shade of scarlet.

"Do you see that? Do you know what is on the other side? There is another Hydra, another Dormammu, another Mephisto, another Ghost Rider. Moreover, most of them come to the surface once or twice. Their SHIELD has the records of them. And when these records fell in the hands of our leaders...well, to put it nicely. They are scared shit. Do you know what happens when the world leaders are scared?"

Robbi Reyes looked down in confusion, "I get woken up in the middle of the night, and not by a phone call. Having the leader of SHIELD visit me and trust me, that is annoying. I just got the new locks too. So, stop this vigilante shit for a while, and we can all live in peace."

He removed his hand, and Reyes looked at him, "if you know so much. Then you know, it's not me who decides whether to kill or not. It seeks vengeance, the blood of the sinners."

"And who decides that? If someone is a sinner," Murdock frowned, his head tilted down, his ear pushed forward towards him.

"He does," Reyes glanced towards him, suspiciously looking at him. It was the first time he fought against a blind man.

"Bullshit, if you are killing, then have the guts to own it," Jessica leaned against the wall, with her arms crossed, glaring at him.

Reyes shot a look at her, with a brooding look shifting his eyes towards Primo, "they don't know what you are, do they? Does the one you work for know? You are a bigger threat than me."

"Umm...ok...that was unexpected. Enlighten me...what am I?" Primo tilted his head, with numerous question marks appearing above his head.

"A demon. Did you take this body? You think you might have hidden, but I can see you. You have no soul. Just energy inside this body," Reyes grunted, trying to free himself.

Jessica let out a laugh, "all right. We have a delusional murderer on our hands. Let's throw him in the psychiatry ward and be done with this."

Elektra looked towards Matt Murdock, putting her katana in the sheath on her back, shrugging, "so we done here?"

Reyes struggled even more, "I know why you are trying to take me out. Because I am the only threat to you!"

"Oh, boy," Primo slumped his head down, closing his eyes, chuckling. He raised his hand, and the orange fire started melting the ice, freeing Robbie Reyes.

"I can explain the no soul part."

"Don't tell me you have gone crazy too," Jessica widened her eyes, staring at him.

Bobbi nudged him, whispering, "you can?"

Primo shrugged, "I can. It's complicated, but I can explain it to you." He just needed time to think of another asspull, "how about we go for a coffee."

"Or what?" Reyes defiantly stared at him.

Primo stepped back, puffing his cheek, letting out a breath, "you are really a hard-headed man. Let's see...how about a deal? Isn't your brother's name on the list of Osborne Company? So he could walk again?"

Reyes scoffed, "you demons sure like making deals. I have already sold my soul. You will get nothing from me."

Primo put his hand on his face, rubbing his eyes, turning back, "can one of you talk to him? Bobbi?"

Bobbi walked towards the exit of the alley, "yeah, not dealing with that."

Jessica followed behind her, scrutinizing Reyes as if he was crazy, walking out.

Matt hesitated, "maybe I can?"

Elektra held his hand, "yeah, no. You are just his opposite. There is no way that you could talk peacefully."

Primo bent down, putting his hand on his thigh, letting out a breath, "shit. I didn't know I could get tired. Mr. Reyes, come with us nicely. Or I can freeze you and drag you out. Let's talk someplace where I can rest, and I'll give you the answers. Whatever the outcome of our talks. I'll help your brother stand on his feet."

He straightened his body, putting his hands inside the pants pocket, "last offer."

Sokovia, Lawn,

Jay was leaning against the chair, staring at the other Earth, when he heard the footsteps drawing closer. He turned his head, shifting his scarlet eyes towards the place where the sound was coming from. He lightly smiled at the beautiful blonde, "here to kill me again?"

Emma sat down in front of him, staring at the sky, "that's my world."

Jay pressed his lips, smiling, "yeah, it is."

"You took more than a decade of my life. I still remember everything...but I lost all that time. The condition of mutants just became worse after that chaos, and I didn't even bother to help them. And you...ran away."

"Not like I had much choice," Jay whispered.

Emma glanced towards him, "no apology?"

Jay leaned forward on the table, staring at him, taking a deep breath, "no matter the amount of apology I give you...it won't be enough to make up for what I did. Nor will this self-loathing I have over that part of my life will go away. But Emma...I know you. You aren't here for an apology; you'd probably kill me if I even tried to. What do you want?"

Emma let out a breath, "what I wasted a decade of my life on. You."

Jay let out a breath, and knowing, resigned smile as he looked down, "mmph...ok. You decide when we leave."

Emma stood up, shooting a look at him, "just to make it clear..."

"I know. You want me to work for you. For the mutants, make up for the damage I did, and save mutants from persecution. I get it. I know...not stupid."

"Apparently not," Emma gave him a flat look, turning around to leave.

Jay leaned back on the chair, balancing it on its hind legs, staring at the sky, when two soft arms appeared on his shoulder.

Scarlet light dissipated, and Wanda appeared from the illusion, stroking his shoulder, "you are leaving?"

"Yeah."

Wanda cradled his face, with his head touching her stomach as she looked at him, pleadingly, "why? I can just take care of her, and send her on the way. I can protect you."

"Yeah? I know. But look what's it doing to you? It's after midnight, and you are awake. You don't sleep until I do, and even then you are worried. You wake up when I do. You are always worried, always on the lookout, and always trying to protect me. That's not you...Wanda. I don't want it to be you. I am going to be fine. I won't die...I promise."

"Let me give you...an X-Gene?"

"No...this is something...I need to handle the hard way."
