The X-Men and Emma Frost were rushing over, having just defeated the two members of the Inner Circle.

The moment they realized that Inner Circle was involved, Emma figured that Mastermind was here, wanting to take control of this mutant. Which was why they were hurrying over to where that mutant was supposed to be.

Once Yui Sasaki realized that Jun Sanada was someone who wanted to control the omega level mutant. She became helpful.

"This way?" Ororo held Yui Sasaki, guiding in front of the tremendous gate.

"The gate...it shouldn't be open," Yui Sasaki widened her eyes.

"We are late," Cyclops rushed inside the door.

The others rushed behind him, seeing Mastermind stand beside a glass tank, where a malnutrition young man was blankly lying, like a doll.

"Welcome, but you are too late. This boy belongs to me now."

"Takeo!!"

"Mastermind," Emma Frost narrowed her eyes, glaring at Mastermind, "What happened to you? When did Inner Circle turn into a terrorist organization that kills the mutants?"

Mastermind scoffed, "Inner Circle was always about controlling an Omega Mutant to make our species the dominant one. You were the naive one that thought we would destroy something as brilliant as the Pheonix. It's just...I tried on numerous occasions to control Jean, to put her under my illusions, but none of them worked. She evolved. But this one...this one I can control."

Cyclops put his hand on his visor, "Get away from the boy."

"Hahaha!! Do you think you can defeat me? Come Takeo, let us show them our powers!"

He raised his hand, focusing every bit of his powers on Takeo when a thin sword pierced his back, coming out from his chest.

"Huh?" Mastermind coughed out blood, "What?"

He looked behind him, seeing the reality getting peeled away, seeing silver hair flow through the air, cat-like green eyes watching him.

There was a young man with long hair beside him, looking like Takeo, a healthier, polite smile on his lips, "I refuse."

Suddenly a bright white light came out of Mastermind, forming a cross, which started breaking apart into green particles.

Sephiroth pulled out the sword, causing Mastermind to drop on his knees, coughing out blood, "I will be taking your powers."

Mastermind glanced back, "How...? You...?"

Takeo curiously squatted beside Mastermind, as if a kid, smiling, "Teacher helped me control my powers...that's why I can do this."

Takeo patted Mastermind, healing his body, letting Mastermind breathe, "Teacher...what if I restore his powers and you absorb them again?"

Scott appeared between Sephiroth and Takeo, "Did you already start corrupting him?" 

Sephiroth didn't even look at him when the world around them changed, turning into four parts.

Sephiroth seemed to phase through Cyclops as Takeo stood up, dazedly looking at the changing world.

"Body," Sephiroth pushed on Cyclops, and his body separated into two, turning into physical and astral.

Sephiroth pulled on Scott's astral body, which landed in his hand, "Soul."

Scott dazedly struggled when Sephiroth pushed it out again. It became enlarged, encompassing his body and soul, "Mind."

The tree became smaller, turning into a bright star between Sephiroth's hand, "Essence."

"The reality is divided into these four, to say the least, and you need to warp all four of them. To truly recreate Masterminds powers to the point where it will be useful to the Heart," Sephiroth smiled.

He threw Scott's essence towards the other, who regained human form, frightened.

Sephiroth patted Takeo's head, "Come, I'll teach you more about the reality."

"Yes!" Takeo lightly smiled, following after Sephiroth as the reality in front of the two twisted, swallowing them.

"Wait! Takeo!" Yui Sasaki shouted, trying to stop him, when he opened the door in reality, "Mother, I will be back soon!"

Yui Sasaki fell on her knees, wiping her tears, sniffling, smiling, "Be careful...be careful."

Takeo smiled, closing the door, returning the underground room back to the room.

Logan nudged Scott, "Slim...I think you should stop opposing him. He's on a different level."

Scott frowned, having regained his composure, "It's dangerous to let him have that boy."

"No...the two of them seemed happy," Hisako Itchiki softly smiled, "Having found someone like each other. Don't you think?"

Mastermind scoffed, "Heh, two monsters found each other...even among the mutants, just one of them is too dangerous...let alone two. Cyclops has the right idea...you think you can trust Sephiroth? He's not a mutant...just a clone of a human. What if one day they decide to combine their powers and wipe mutant...or humans out?"

Emma walked over, squatting in front of Mastermind, chuckling, "Still struggling? You know now that you don't have your powers? I can leisurely sift through that garbage in your brain and take out all the U-Men, Inner Circle, and whatever crazy organization there is that is a threat to the mutants."

"There is only one threat to all the living beings...and that is Sephiroth. That is the only reason why I wanted Takeo to fight against Sephiroth...but he had turned his greatest threat into an ally."

Emma shot a mind wave at him, causing him to faint, "Enough of your babbling."

Scott was hanging on Logan, his eyes remained fixed at Mastermind, "It might not be babbling...it might be true."

"Scott, enough," Ororo shot a look at him before turning her eyes towards Yui Sasaki, "We have other stuff to deal with."

Secret Earth, Sokovia,

"Papa..."

Jay was standing at the roof of the mansion, with the air caressing his hair. He had a sharp look in his piercing scarlet eyes when he glanced back. The look in his eyes softened as he watched Lavena, "Yes?"

His eyes shifted towards Illyana, hiding behind the open door of the roof, peeking. She ducked the moment Jay's eyes landed on hers.

"Papa..." Lavena fidgeted, looking down, "We...um...I...no...we...um...I want Illyana to take me to the Limbo...to play. She said there are demons, even her friend, a dragon."

Jay glanced towards the distance as if there was something that was pulling his vision. He reluctantly looked towards Lavena, shaking his head, "Your mother...does she know?"

Lavena's mouth shriveled up, "Umm...I am sure Mama would approve?"

Jay turned around, leaning against the ledge, with his hands inside his pockets, "Lavena...wait."

He took out his cell, giving Natasha a call. He put down his cell on the ledge as a hologram appeared in front of the two, "Did she ask you?"

Lavena kept her head down, crossing her fingers behind her back, making Natasha chuckle, "The girl is smart enough to figure out the moves of someone like Nighthawk. And yet she is so...childish when it comes to you."

"And you."

Natasha quizically looked at him, "Why did you call me? Just say no."

Lavena curled her lips when Jay narrowed his eyes, "Natasha...I want you to go with them."

""Huh?""

The two looked at him at the same time, blinking the same way, making Jay smile.

"Limbo is a magical realm. Although the laws of the material universe apply, the laws of magic are enhanced. That watch has magic technology as well. You should go, and you might learn something new about that watch."

Lavena parted her lips, looking at her father in shock before she silently giggled.

Natasha raised her eyebrow, "Now you want me to go with children and learn something?"

Jay turned his gaze up at the sky, "A war is coming..."

He turned his eyes towards the Omega Earth, "Sadly...it's coming from both fronts."

Omega Universe, Chitauri Prime,

It was a red planet, with two rings around it, vertically and horizontally. Even though it was red, its temperature was deceptively low, far below zero degrees.

On this planet, where the gladiator games were popular, the center of the Chitauri Empire lived Thanos.

He was sitting on his throne at the center of the massive passive palace's hall.

"Thanos," A soft, seductive, deadly voice echoed in the empty hall.

Thanos opened his eyes, "Death. Is it time?"

"Yes, I have finally come to terms with my counterpart. I have chosen you, and Death from that universe will choose another warrior. The one who creates more deaths wins. If you kill more, then I get to be a new Death...if you lose...she-"

"No need to say anymore. I will start wiping out planets right now," Thanos narrowed his eyes, promising.

"There is just one condition," Death's shadow appeared in front of Thanos, "You must kill in that universe...while your counterpart must kill in this. That means...you must cross the Earth."

"Do you doubt that I will win?"

"No...but you should be careful...on that planet lies the Heartless Angel with the Heart. His powers have grown even further. Do not lose to him."
