Morning,

Lorna was lying in the beautiful garden that her father had let her build. Since he didn't let her go out, this garden was his way of making sure she didn't get too fed up.

Usually, she just trimmed and picked flowers. But recently, someone showed her how good it felt just lying on the grass, enjoying the sunlight, "Genesis."

"Yeah?"

A bright smile covered Lorna's lips as she looked to her side, seeing a man with red hair, a kind, confident smile on his lips, lying beside her, gazing at the sky, "Gen...you shouldn't be here."

Genesis glanced towards her, putting his hand on her palm, whispering, "I told you. Your father can't see through my illusion. No one would realize that I was here or that you were talking with someone. All they would see is you sleeping peacefully."

Lorna drew closer to him, putting her head on his arm, sticking her body to his, stroking his chest. She closed her eyes, "Gen...I always just want to stay with you like this."

Genesis glanced towards Polaris; it was a rarity to see a still innocent Polaris. But she still had the leadership talents like her counterparts and the same goodness.

Genesis shook his head, "Our time is bound to come to an end...but it might be sooner than later. Your father just might get rid of me."

Lorna opened her eyes, "Why would you say that?"

"We discussed our political philosophies...about the future of mutants. I don't think your father likes mine," Genesis sat up, making Polaris sit up as well.

He kissed her cheek, whispering in her ear, "Lorna...I will promise you this.  I won't leave the Island without telling you."

Lorna held onto him, kissing his cheek, whispering, "I'd rather...you forever stay here."

"I'll see you at night," Genesis stood up, disappearing from Lorna's sight, making her smile as she watched him disappear.

Night,

Lorna rolled around the bed, looking at the watch on the side table, seeing the seconds, minutes, and hours hands click past twelve. It was already midnight, and Genesis was usually there to see her.

She stood up, wearing a black cloak, sneaking out of the room, ready to go to Genesis's house.

"Lorna..."

Lorna's shoulder tensed up as she nearly jumped in her skin, looking to the side, "Sister?"

Maximoff worriedly looked at her, "Where are you going?"

Lorna hesitated, circling her green hair around her finger, hesitating. She couldn't just say that Genesis didn't visit her room at night, "I was...just getting worried about Genesis...I was going to check on him."

Maximoff hesitated, "Lorna...Genesis already left Genosha. He said he didn't like it."

Lorna was taken aback, "But..."

Maximoff shook her head, "Forget about him...maybe he might come back in the future...but for now...leave him be. Go sleep."

Maximoff looked at Lorna hesitantly going back into her room, closing her door behind her. She let out a sigh, going out of the palace, direction going to the underground prison.

Under the surface of Genosha was a prison, where Magneto kept the prisoners whose ideologies didn't match his. She walked to the other end of the prison, looking inside one of the cells.

Her eyes fell on Genesis, leisurely sitting on the bench, reading a book, "Lorna was asking about you."

"She'll get over it."

"Why don't you just give up resisting and help father? With your ability...you would be in the highest position."

"By doing what? Sacrificing other mutants?"

"..."

"Tell me...do you think what your father is doing is right? Throwing a stone in the same water that is calming down for his own selfish purposes?"

"He's doing this for the mutant race."

Genesis looked towards Maximoff, who was unconfident, hesitant, "You think it's right because your father would do so? You idolize him?"

"Of course, he's a leader of mutants," Wanda frowned.

"It isn't right just because your father would do so...what's right...will always be right...and what's wrong? Will always be wrong. You are the one who decides...what is right and wrong for you."

"You are just asking me to choose between what you think is right vs. what my father thinks is right."

Genesis smiled, "No, I am asking you to decide...what do you think is right? Not what your father thinks is right. Anyway...I am here waiting...for Lorna to come so I can say goodbye."

Maximoff shook her head, "She won't come...she doesn't even know that this place exists."

"I believe she will come."

Maximoff shook her head, "I don't understand you."

"That's because you do not know me...or my purpose here."

"Whatever your purpose here, you will fail," Maximoff frowned, walking off.

Once she left, a smile appeared on Sephiroth's lips as the illusion of Genesis's body disappeared from his body. He narrowed his eyes, tying up his hair, taking the bookmark from his neck.

He used the tsuba that changed from the bookmark, piercing the cell gates which opened for him.

Sephiroth walked out, glancing towards left and right, before moving towards the right. His eyes scanned the room, the cells, the mutants that were trapped in the cells.

From what he saw, not every mutant got peace in Genosha, only the radical ones or naive ones who accepted or agreed with Magneto's twisted radical view. Those who did not end up in the cells as he did. Still, they were not his targets since they were bound to take his side when the time came.

He came here for something else entirely.

A few days later,

"Genesis!"

Inside the cell, Genesis raised his head, looking out of the cell, smiling, "Lorna...you are finally here."

Lorna broke apart the cell, rushing in, hugging him, "I knew it! I knew you didn't leave without telling me!"

Genesis lightly hugged her, stroking her back, "And I knew that you would find me."

Lorna clutched onto his back, "Gen...I am sorry...I didn't know my father did such things. I don't understand why he would..."

Genesis stroked her head, "Lorna...there was only one reason why I was here. Waiting to meet you. You remember the first thing I said to you?"

Lorna raised her head, confusedly looking at him, "Yeah...because you said something so confusing...you are not Genesis."

"Yes," Genesis whispered, kissing her cheeks, "I am...well, you'll know soon."

Lorna quizzically watched him when his body disappeared from her arms, making her look around, "Genesis? Genesis?!"

She walked out of the cell, only to find the cell and restraints of the other mutants had been released. Not just her, but a crowd was walking out with her.

Each of them ran for the exit, but they were calm as if they knew something like this would happen.

When she got the chance to step out of prison, her face was hit by the hard winds. She looked up at the sky, seeing the black clouds cover the sky, the rainfall, the sound of waves hitting against the Island filled her ear.

The roar of thunder filled the sky, the rain poured down as her father appeared in front of them with Blink. He floated in the sky, looking down at the prisoners when his eyes fell on his daughter, "Lorna? Did you free them?"

Lorna shook her head, activating her power, floating above the others, on the same height as her father, "No, but I wish I did."

"Lorna...this is necessary," Magneto frowned.

Lorna sadly curled her lips, "I guess...this proves there is no difference between humans and mutants."

"No, there really isn't all that big a difference."

Lorna looked up when a voice drowned the voice of the storm. Her eyes landed on the man with red hair, holding a book.

Magento turned his attention towards Genesis, raising up in the sky, "You...this is your doing!"

Genesis tilted his head, with a soft smile on his lips, "As much as it is yours. You put them in prison...I released them."

"You!! You want to destroy Genosha!!! I will never let you!!"

As he said, metal fragments rose from the ground, raising up in the air, shooting towards Genesis.

But none of the metals, the twisted benches, street lights hit Genesis. All of them stopped in front of him.

Magneto frowned, looking at Lorna rise up and appear in front of Genesis, protecting him, "Father, stop. You have already done enough to hurt the mutants, maybe more than any human ever hurt us. Everyone here trusted up, and you put them in the cells? I won't let you hurt anymore of our brethren."

Magneto glared at her, "Lorna, we will discuss this later. Blink, take her back to her room."

He was expecting Blink to take Lorna away, but she didn't move, making Magneto look back, "Blink!"

Genesis leaned forward, patting Lorna's head, "Sorry...Lorna."

Lorna looked back, "Why are you apologizing...?"

Genesis shook his head, "Blink, take her down."

"Hm?" Lorna opened her eyes in surprise when Blink appeared beside her, teleporting her away.

The two of them appeared on top of a building. Where Lorna saw her sister being held by Pyro and Mercury, "Sister."

Maximoff struggled, looking up, when the light fell from between the clouds, falling on Genesis. Her father tried attacking him, but these metals were stopped by the light from the clouds.

"Magneto," Genesis's red hairs turned silver, his clothes turned black, his height grew, his face changed as his hair grew in length, his voice changed. A black wing appeared behind him, "I deem you as a failure of a king. You are not suited to lead the mutants."
