"He came to me to kill me when I massacred half the population of a planet," Thanos was sitting on the rock. Leisurely watching Omega Force stand behind Jay and Wanda.

Bruce nudged Steve, "Did I just hear it right? Did he say he massacred half the population of a planet?"

Thanos looked up at Bruce smiling, "Yes, Mr. Bruce Banner. An intelligent man like you would understand. It's a simple calculus; the universe is finite, its resources are finite. If life remains unchecked, life will cease to exist. It needs correcting."

"You are a madman!" Tony frowned, glaring at Thanos.

Thanos smiled, "Unlike you, who is outright rejecting it. Primo seriously gave it a thought. He even thought it might be a good idea, but he rejected it because of simple morality. I couldn't defeat him then, so we talked. I told him I would collect the six stones for defeating him. And wipe out half the population of the universe without bias, rich or poor, strong or weak."

Anthony whispered, "Where are the stones?"

"Out of his reach," Wanda narrowed her eyes.

Reed nodded, "Let's try and keep it that way."

Jay narrowed his eyes, "So you and he had a long talk, talking about your philosophies. Get to your point."

Thanos shook his head, "Kid, my fight is not with you. The first one I will kill...is Primo. Then half the universe."

Jay chuckled before it turned into laughing, "Ok...ok...sure. Give it your best."

"Really? He's talking about killing your father, and that is all you have to say?" Hawkeye looked at him twice.

Thanos smiled, "You are confident that Primo will win? When he has lost all his powers, and mine are stronger than ever?"

"No. Probably not," Jay shook his head, "But then I wouldn't spoil your surprise. I'd suggest attacking him as soon as possible, do it today, or you'd be too late."

"I have had enough! Why are we talking when we can kill him?" Thor (Omega Universe) moved forward, throwing Mjolnir at Thanos.

But Thanos effortlessly caught it, "Didn't your father tell you? Not to throw your hammer at others? You are not my match other than that Witch. None of you stand a chance."

He stood up, dropping the Mjolnir, "It's time for me to take my leave. Till next time, Primo's son."

"How are you going to leave!! Take this gift with you," Johnny Storm rose in the air, raining down a massive ball of concentrated fire.

But Thanos didn't even look back when a portal appeared in front of him, which he used to leave. When the portal closed, the ball of fire fell in that place, burning the ground.

Wanda leaned on Jay, letting out a breath, sweating, "Finally he left. I can't maintain the battlefield any longer, retreat."

Jay let out a breath, whispering, "I'll take you home."

Wanda pushed away from him, scoffing, "You are just trying to use that as an excuse to not deal with the aftermath."

Jay covered her mouth, grinning towards the others, "Right, she is delirious. I will take her back home."

Before anyone even got the chance to talk, Jay disappeared with Wanda.

"He ran away."

"Totally."

Secret Earth, Wakanda,

Jay put Wanda on the bed, sitting down, near her when Natasha entered the room, "You two are ok?"

"For now," Wanda let out a breath, "This no casualty thing is tougher to achieve than it looks. Moreover...Thanos is going to go after Primo."

Natasha frowned, looking towards Jay, "Can you win?"

Jay shook his head, "I don't have a snowball's chance of winning against Thanos."

Natasha hastily walked over, sitting beside him, stroking his arm, "What happens if one of your bodies dies?"

"Hmm? I don't know. Before Thanos attacks me...I need something to fight against him."

Natasha tucked her hair behind her ear, raising her hand, "Watch? What about the Watch?"

Jay leaned forward, placing his lips on hers, "No need. I'll manage."

Wanda turned to her side, adjusting her head on the pillow, "Don't be stupid, Jay. Just tell me what you need?"

She just said when she noticed something, she put down the barriers around her house. A portal opened inside the room with Ancient One stepping in the room, "I hope I am not disturbing you."

"Not really, teach," Jay smiled.

Omega Universe, Genosha,

Sephiroth dragged his paining body, lying down on the bed, closing his eyes. Since his powers came from his body, fighting against Thanos took everything he had.

He put his hand on his stomach, closed his eyes, resting his head on the pillow. He was starting to lose consciousness, falling asleep when someone knocked on the door.

Sephiroth opened his eyes, glancing towards the door, seeing Lorna walk inside once he didn't answer. She walked next to him, looking down at him.

"Here to kill me?" Sephiroth whispered in a weak voice.

Lorna sat down, closing her eyes, "Weakness in your voice doesn't suit you. After all, you are the leader of all mutants."

"Maturity suits you," Sephiroth whispered, closing his eyes when Lorna leaned over him, kissing his lips. She stroked his cheek, "But you...you liked it more when I was an innocent little girl, right?"

Sephiroth opened his eyes, looking at Lorna, her lips sucked on his lips, her eyes gazed into his eyes, "You don't have to say...I know."

He put his hand on her waist, turning her over, stroking her cheek, whispering, "Lorna...I don't like you. You were just a useful tool."

Lorna didn't seem upset; rather, she curled her lips, stroking his cheek, her nose brushed against his, "Is that so? Then tell me what my use was? Was it to rattle my father? Was it to help you escape the prison that you already could? Was it to give you some information when I had none?"

Sephiroth hugged her in his arms, pulling her in a hug, caressing her long green hair, whispering, "To rule the mutants...you were and are the successor."

Lorna twitched, "Are? I thought your new leader would be Amelia...you seem to like her quite a bit."

Sephiroth lightly chuckled, feeling Lorna's lips against his neck, stroking her thigh, "A bad habit from my original...I seem to have a thing for the intelligent woman with red hair. Although...I like your green better."

Lorna moaned, "Now you are being unfair...one moment you say I am a tool...and the other..."

Sephiroth felt his eyes becoming heavier and heavier, whispering, "This...is...the only chance...you will have to...kill me."

"Stupid Gen..."

Next Day,

Sephiroth woke up, feeling a soft body in his arms; he traced her body, opening his eyes.

Lorna groaned, stroking his chest, "Sephiroth..."

"Morning..." Lorna barely opened his eyes, stroking his chest, "I was so worried...when you were fighting...when that large explosion covered you...when you drew the sword...I was so worried."

Sephiroth kissed her forehead, his lips brushing against her skin when the room's door was smashed open, and two women and a man walked in.

Lorna fidgeted, holding to sit up when Sephiroth held her down, stroking her jaw, speaking, "Amelia, Cargill, Pyro. Give me a good reason for intruding in my room."

"You should really come to see this," Amelia entreated.

Sephiroth rested his head on his palm, his thumb stroking Lorna's lips, making her look away, "Which one is it? Are humans cheering? Are humans scared? Are mutants scared? There is a protest? There is support? The outside is in chaos, is that it?"

"Umm...that's exactly it," Pyro scratched his head, "Boss, how did you know?"

"They just saw the inconceivable, unachievable, impossible. They feel weak, be it mutants or humans. They will voice out their thoughts more than ever, through protest, through support. Everything they could to gain a semblance of control and power."

Cargill narrowed her eyes, "Since Sir knows all this. What should our move be?"

Sephiroth moved in for a kiss when Lorna used the metal in his clothes to light push him back, running away. p

Sephiroth chuckled to himself, glancing towards Lorna running away, turning his eyes towards Amelia, Pyro, and Cargill, sighing, "Nothing....we need to do nothing. You need to find me a girl."

Pyro raised his hand, grinning, "Boss leave that one me!"

Amelia shot a look towards Pyro, making him take his hand back, "You need to rest, Sir." She stressed on Sir as she turned and left.

Cargill saluted, leaving right after, dragging Pyro with her, who mouthed, 'I'll try.'
