2 Years had passed since I left my village to become an adventurer.

"Hiro! Behind us!"

"I-I got it!"

I quickly swung my sword and beheaded the monster which was coming towards us as a man with a shield block the attack while defending me.

Edgar bashed the nearby orc with his giant shield and swung his sword right at it. While above him, Alyssa knocked up two arrows which were imbued with magic, hit the two orcs which was behind the previous orc that Edgar had cut. She quickly hid behind him as the two orcs heads began to implode, causing the nearby orcs to be momentarily stunned as I cast my magic at them.

"Wind Cutters!"

From my hand, gusts of wind began to manifest and shot towards the orcs, causing them to be sliced apart from the sharpened air, letting me get the opportunity to close in next to the giant orc which had an imposing aura on him.

"I'll handle the leader. Take care of those guys."

"Heh, as expected of Hiro, never letting us take his spotlight."

"Shut up Ed. You no better that you can't handle that big guy over there."

"....tch. I hate you for saying that but I can't deny that I'm no match against him."

He swung his shield which bashed the orc and sending it afar as he cleaves the rest of the orcs with ease yet felt a bit annoyed at how he isn't capable of beating the leader. Alyssa sighs as she pats the guy's back holstering her bow and pulls out two daggers behind her.

"I'm also mad about it as well but if we be dead if not for Hiro didn't join us and faught all these guys all by ourself."

"....you know what? Your right and if we live somehow, I'll be the one who buys the drinks tonight. Hahaha."

Knowing how life is more precious than pride, Edgar laughs as he gave me a thumbs up as I smile and charge at the orc leader with my sword.

The Leader snorts as he swung his blade against me as I didn't block the attack but parried it with my sword, only pushing it aside due to our weight difference as I move closer to it.

Knowing that it was too late to retract his sword back, he decided to block my attack with his other hand as I swung my sword diagonally towards his arms, making a twisting motion to avoid his strikes as I flew up above him and quickly twisting my body in a tornado.

"Haah!"

Using the momentum by spinning my body, I use it to behead the orc as my blade snaps from the sheer power I put through to cut its head off.

"Damn kid. That was a hella cool trick to pull off."

"Wow...."

Edgar and Alyssa were impressed at my stunt. I then landed on the ground as I breathe out my worries before looking at my sword which didn't survive the strike I put through.

'I guess I shouldn't just buy cheap things to save up money.'

Because I didn't want to waste money on buying a sword and prompt to buy a decent armor to wear, the sword I've been using for sometime finally broke as I tossed it and pulled out a short blade from my back.

While I am not fond of using short handed weapons, Mom did trained me in all sorts of weapons just in case if something bad were to happen and I remain unarmed during fights. I was given knowledge in all sorts of fighting such as unarmed combat to multitude of weapons to choose from.

Calming down after slaying the leader, I was about to attack the two orcs who were approaching me when a beam of light rained down upon the orcs, as if it delivered the divine punishment from them.

"Hiro, are you an idiot?"

A woman with white cloak slowly approach us as she was glaring at me which she picked up the broken sword and tossed it to me in anger.

I look down in disappointment when she tossed my broken sword as she continue to scold me, seeing how idiotic I was.

"I know that your mom didn't left you penniless and provided enough money to get yourself a decent gear. You might hide it from others but as your childhood friend, I know you aren't that poor."

Lisa who had just graduated from the church to become a cleric, delivered a punch right at my gut as I felt the intense pain on my stomach yet she quickly hugged me with tears in her eyes.

"You idiot! You could've get yourself killed if your so careless of your life."

".....Sorry...."

I apologize reluctantly from acting like an idiot but I wanted to save money because....

"Hiro! Dodge!"

"Eh?"

Behind Lisa was an orc who was on its last life, delivering a slash towards her as she closes her eyes out of surprise and fear.

Yet, right as the blade landed on her....

Blood begins to flow as a hand had flown away from the impact.

On that day, I didn't realize that my actions just brought me to hell.

It also gave a reminder that the person who always pampered me with love and care....

"Hiro, you piece of shit...."

My mom could also much chaos that could even bring a kingdom to its knees from the sheer might of her strength.
