I am Laura Tristan. After leading little Ed's army and uniting the west, I received a title and last name.

To think a lowly carpenter's daughter would become a duchess.

Then again, I had become a field marshal before that as well.

It was all thanks to big sis's stories.

I don't know where she heard them, but she knew plenty of war stories of far away places, and knew enough details that I could visualize how the battles went. It was thanks to those stories that I could come up with the strategies needed to win all my skirmishes at the academy in Jalta, as well as win our battles against the demons.

I came to believe that head on battles were a terrible waste of resources, and it was better to concentrate on raids, flanking attacks, and generally be the most annoying thing in the world, whittling down the enemy moral and capacity to fight while preserving your own. A thousand tiny victories were better than a single giant one to me.

I had grown up with big sis ever since she comforted me that one day after my dad's funeral.

At the time, I thought that she was actually a little younger than me. What a surprise it was when I found out she was three years older!

But while she didn't look her age, she acted much older than even that, and I was proud to call her my big sis.

When it was just the two of us, we stuck together all the time. Once the chores were done, she'd tell me war stories or teach me strange things.

It was later on that I realized that she must've had a really hard childhood. I mean, why else would an eleven year old know how to do all sorts of scams?

Even still, despite it all, she was so cute! She had the reliability of a big sis, but the cuteness of a little sis!

The fact that I got both in one package made me thank the gods for this blessing!

Even the way she pouted or cried whenever I had to buy new clothes because my old ones didn't fit anymore.

The first few times, I gave her the old ones that didn't fit, but eventually my hand-me-downs were too big for her.

It was so cute how she'd still try to insist that they weren't that bad and that she'd grow into them eventually. I managed to convince her that if that was true, then she only needed to wear them when she did grow into them, so we put them away for the meantime. It was a bit unexpected that the clothes she couldn't wear would only keep piling up.

A few years after Ed was born, he got into a fight with big sis. It seemed like he did something bad and big sis was punishing him for it, but instead of Ed apologizing like he should have, he had a temper tantrum, so big sis left him and went about her day.

The three of us normally slept in the same room, but in the end, Ed slept in a different room that night, refusing to apologize to big sis, leaving his bed empty. Big sis and I shared a bed.

When Ed was born, she brought up the idea of us sleeping in separate beds as we were shopping for a crib for Ed, but I fought tooth a nail against the idea, making her cave in. She had occasionally brought the idea up once in a while, but I vetoed it with all my strength each time.

Bed time with big sis was one of my favourite times of the day. It was the only time I could hug that cute body of hers without any restraint. She usually just let me do so as something she couldn't control, but that night, for the first time in a long time, she hugged me back, and tightly at that.

I could tell she was crying. Of course she was. She loved Ed with all her heart, and seeing him pull a tantrum like that was pushing her to the limit. He had even said that he hated her a few times. We both knew that he didn't mean it, but it didn't hurt her any less. Even I was trying my hardest not to knock him upside the head after that, but big sis would be angry at me if I did that.

As Ed's aunt, I had to be the mature one.

The next day, the two of them made up, and we returned to a happy family once again.

Well, except for once difference.

While the two of us were alone, big sis turned to me and asked me a strange question.

"They've gotten bigger than mine ever were, haven't they?"

It took me a few seconds to realize what she meant, then I smirked at her, opening my blouse.

"Wanna check?"

I was just joking and only wanted to see her surprised face, but after a moment of that, she just went "Of course" before grabbing at them with her small hands.

Her technique was surprisingly good, not something you could imagine a girl her age, let alone her size was capable of. It must've been the experience of a mother that let her know just how to touch a person's breasts.

Every once in a while, I'd let her do it again when Ed wasn't around. No, that's a lie. I wasn't letting her, I was practically begging her. I was completely hooked on to her technique.

As I grew older and my chest filled out more, I had asked her to do it more and more. It had gotten easier to do it because Ed started to play outside with his friends more often, but it was still not enough, and I'd go to bed with my pyjama top open so she could play with them in bed before we went to sleep.

At the back of my head, I felt like I wouldn't ever be able to get married, but the other side of my mind was happy if I could spend the rest of my life with big sis.

It's a secret, but her hair smelled really good too.

One time, I was sniffling a bit too hard, and she froze for a bit. I was terrified that she figured it out, but the next day her hair smelled even nicer. I wasn't quite sure what happened, but it made me happy, though I lost even more control since then. At least whatever she did, she kept doing it ever since.

One day, I found out a bishop came to our home.

Apparently she declared Ed as the Hero. It was weird, since they declared the Hero was the prince of Altrea a long time ago. It seemed that big sis tried to strangle the bishop when she heard, but Ed stopped her.

Personally, I wish he didn't stop her. Rather, I wish she came when I was there so I could've cut her head right off, saving big sis from dirtying her hands.

I stayed at home the next day just in case she came back. It was my day off, and I usually stayed at home to be with big sis anyways, so it wasn't much different from normal.

As expected, the damn bishop came, and brought a pair of guards with her. I was getting ready to cut all three of their heads off when they entered our home. I noticed that big sis was also holding a kitchen knife, bit I clenched my my grip on my sword handle so that I could do it before she got blood on her hands.

Before either of us could act, she dropped the bombshell that she had sent a letter about the news the night before.

I tried to quickly think of a way to counter that, but big sis gave up first. She was right after all. The only way to stop the letter was to somehow catch up to and find the messenger, then deal with both the messenger and the message, presuming that it was the only copy.

We'd have to commit too many crimes to suppress the word, and most of the people we need to deal with would be innocents that had no idea what was happening, unlike this damn bishop.

Instead, we listened to her oracle. Most of it was within the realm we expected, but finding out big sis had eternal youth was a huge shock!

It did explain why she was still so small though.

As an aside, we went to bed early that night and I let her play with my breasts all night.

...fine, I admit it. I was craving it too.

We spent the next few months preparing for joining Ed's adventure. I managed to convince the higher ups to allow me to go with him with my regiment, though big sis read right through them and gave me plenty of warnings. As always, she was amazing.

Our entourage headed off westward. It consisted of Ed, Mitch, the damn bishop, myself, and my regiment.

The first night, I got Mitch to stand guard as I killed and buried the damn bishop and her followers.

Ed asked about her the next morning, but Mitch and I just played dumb, saying that we hadn't seen her since the night before. It was technically true after all.

Ed wasn't stupid, in fact he might've been the smartest of all of us including big sis, but he let it off. I was glad I didn't have to use executive auntie power that time.

Our journey was pretty simple. Beat the demons and stop their advance.

Since our objective was so broad and simple, yet we didn't have any schedule we needed to keep, I as able to exercise my full power as commander. The path west ended up slow, but we won every engagement, and rarely had any deaths. Even the larger contingents weren't much of a problem when we broke them up into smaller pieces through harassing attacks or by sapping their moral and strength by annoying and exhausting them.

When we finally arrived at the Altran capital, Mitch and I prepared our plan. We had long heard what the king had done to big sis, so we had since come up with a plan for our encounter. Being her son though, we let Ed have first go, and we were to cover his tracks.

The plan went more magnificently than we could expect. Ed killed the king, and the rest of us charged in and eliminated all the witnesses aside from the queen and prince. It looked like Ed whispered something into the king's ear as he died. Well, it didn't take big sis to know what that was.

After confirming with Ed, I had the queen and prince tied up and put into large bags and carried out of the throne room while we spread around the bodies of demons that we had gathered earlier to make it look like it was an enemy attack. We also tore up the room and incinerated a few of the bodies, making them completely unidentifiable.

Through one of Mitch's trusted subordinate, we had the queen and prince taken out of the city to the east beyond Jalta, and gave them some money to get themselves back on their feet as commoners.

Just in case, we kept spies around them, and reminded them of that by having them visit once in a while to give them their stipend until they could make a living for themselves.

I gave a condensed version to Ed when he asked. He didn't need to know where they were, nor did I want such information to reach big sis. It was one thing if she asked, but another for someone to tell her even when she hadn't.

It didn't take long after that before a peace treaty was signed with the demons.

I was originally pretty afraid of the demons until I started to hear big sis's stories, and actually facing them in battle made me realize how similar they were to us even if they looked so different on the surface.

After the war, we were busy with postwar business. Mitch was in his element, but completely overworked. Ed and I were out of our depths though. Especially me. Ed was really smart in everything, but I was only good with military affairs.

Big sis helped where she could, but she didn't take a full share of the work. Her excuse was that it was our fault for standing out so much during the war.

I was really envious that she managed to do so much, yet in the end nobody had even heard her name.

The rumours were that she was some mysterious sage from some remote mountains summoned by the gods to help the Hero or something. It sounded a lot like the two for the price of one special at Russel's store she came up with.

I didn't quite know how she managed to do it, but when I saw Mitch do his work during the war, I couldn't help but imagine just how much big sis was doing behind the scenes.

Well, it wasn't like she didn't deserve a quiet retirement, even if she was only three years older than me.

That Ed though. Pretty much everyone knew that the love he had for big sis wasn't the love for a mother, but lately it felt like it's been getting worse.

I've caught him actually proposing to her a few times, though she's been shrugging it off the way a mother should. I couldn't help but wonder if she really was the only one who didn't know.

It had been getting pretty bad though. This expression every time she rejected him was getting worse. I started to rib him over it, telling him to find another woman, but unexpectedly, he threw it back at me.

It was true though. I was much older than him, yet still not married.

Thinking about it, it was actually for the same reason. I was happy just being with big sis. If I wasn't so conscious about how wrong it was, I might've been trying to propose to her just like Ed had been.

Well, Ed had been forced to move to live in a palace, while I'd still been getting my nightly dose of big sis since I had the freedom to chose where I lived. Big sis wanted to live in a small house where it was more quiet so I just forced my way in using my little sis powers.

After Ed's little attack, I started to seriously look for someone to marry, and found one. He was a pretty good guy who served under me during the war, so we knew each other decently well. He was transferred to a clerical position since, but stayed in the army just like me.

Well, it wasn't the same army though. One of the treaties put limits on each nation's military power and instead most of the army strength was consolidated under the United Federation flag. I had become the chief of staff there, whereas the man I went after was a minor clerk in the same army.

We got along, talking about the old days and quickly hit it off.

In the end, while it did take a while due to how busy we were with all the restructuring, we managed to get married in a year.

Actually, I pushed it forward a bit hard just to spite Ed.

It was obvious how well it worked when I saw his expression when I announced it.

It was a good day indeed. Well, aside from when big sis asked me to move out to live with my fiance.

I got on my knees and begged for one more night before then.

She was pretty exasperated, but gave it to me, calling it my wedding gift.

I was more than fine with that, and we didn't fall asleep that night.

A couple of years later, we were celebrating Ed's wedding too. I was glad he had finally did it, and secured independence from big sis. Or rather, big sis finally got independence from Ed.

It was a few months after I found out how wrong I was when his new wife came complaining about how he spent all his time talking about big sis, or how he'd spend a suspicious amount of time every day away from home even after work should've been done already.

When I asked big sis, it seemed that she had already been told about it and talked to Ed about it. I went to give a piece of my mind to him the next day.

Things started to get better when we found out that his wife was pregnant.

I already had a son, and had a second on it's way.

Every time I visited big sis with him, I was always amazed at how well she handled him. I mean, I knew she was experienced, I saw it for myself, but it was frustrating how much better she was than me.

When I asked for advice, she only gave me a wry smile and said that you could only do the best you can. I hated that answer, but it was one that fit big sis the best, so I couldn't complain.

Finally, Ed's baby was born.

It was a girl!

But the way he mumbled about her eyes were a bit creepy.

It seemed like his wife thought so too, and promptly kicked him out of the room.

When I looked, I saw that her eyes were just like big sis's.

I was pretty worried for the little girl's future, and big sis's expression suggested she thought the same.

It turned out that from that point on, Ed wasn't allowed near his daughter when his wife wasn't around, and even then, she limited how much contact he was allowed to have.

The reason I knew was because she came to both me and big sis complaining about it practically every month. It had been four years and one son, yet she's still been complaining about it.

By the way, I had two daughters myself since then.

It wasn't just me that thought that all my kids were more attached to big sis than me, was it?

As another side note, I've managed to convince big sis to let me recharge my big sisium every few months. Those nights I leave the kids with their father as I spend the night at big sis's.

The few years she travelled outside of the country almost ruined my health though. I begged her never to do that again, and managed to make her promise she wouldn't leave me for more than few months at a time.
