Hello everyone,
Since people have been asking me about what's going on with the story or why I stopped for a long time, I thought I should make an update.
I haven't decided to leave ScribbleHub if that's the concern. But I did undergo a job change (and a major transition in my career) late last year. Since I work in the US education industry, the start of the Fall school semester made life really busy for me. I simply didn't have the attention span to mind yet another website for months.
I had originally hoped to return around Christmas time when things slowed down in my job. However, I fell sick before Christmas with Covid. And despite being quadruple-vaccinated the illness took a toll on me due to my weak lungs. I've been in recovery for weeks but it's been to struggle to get my stamina (physically and mentally) back to where it had been. And at this point I have a lot of things built up in my life that I should have handled earlier...
Posting on ScribbleHub does require reformatting and checking work from me, even though the story is already written.
I'll return to updating properly when I sort the rest of my life back to normal again.
Thanks and regards,
~ Aorii
Just get better. It is worth it to wait for good stories.
Thank you for the support as always. I still remember when you commented back when I posted at krytyk's x)
It's an odd thought from me, but a story is always more interesting than an explanation. It's why I can burn through books hundreds of pages long in an afternoon but can't get through 10 pages of a textbook. One is meant to be read and the other is bland and shallow explanation.
I think reading this story I finally realized why, there is 0 interpretation to be done in textbooks. They only say what is and the classes expect you to memorize it. There is no curiosity or question in history textbooks, only assumptions presented as fact.
There are textbooks that weave its contents as though a story. One of my management books did that -- as it tells the story of what several successful executives did after they took over a job to reform their department/company. But alas, those books are among the rarity, and certainly for most basic fundamentals.
I'm glad you like the way I tell this story =)
Hopefully you can post more here when you get a chance. Scribblehub is a bit nicer than other sites for these kinds of stories.
Thanks. I have noticed that. I first came here because the toxicity of some readers on RR was really getting to me, and SH has been a better experience overall.
Ich hoffe, dass es hier dann auch auf den Stand deines Blogs aktualisiert wird .
I hope that it will be updated here on the status of your blog.

Are you saying that you published the story somewhere else first and now you're reposting it here? If so, can you please tell where is it posted so I could check it there?
Nevermind, I found a link in your profile overview. Silly me.
My question then is the story on your blog identical to what you pust on SH or you're doing some rewrites and additions along the way?
@VictoriaNight I edit a lot in general and I update the version on the blog most often. Though periodically I update most of the other sites I post to as well.
I'm not going anywhere. I will patiently wait as long as needed.
Update: I will still keep on waiting until you can afford to invest your time into this again.
@hory-portier haha I should be able to start posting soon. Came here today to bring a few chapters that I did post up-to-date with edits.
@Aorii yay!
no matter how long you need, always know that we will wait. Don't ever feel rushed. Come back and write for us when you can and you want to and always know that we will be waiting.
I look forward to it!
Thank you for your kind support =)
Hope you feel better. Covid messed me up too, worsened a genetic condition I didn't know I had (although there were a few signs but they had been fairly minor, so I dismissed them growing up) and now my nerves don't work as well anymore, which then messed with my cardiovascular system and caused a cascade of minor issues all piled up, so I get needing time to recover from that illness's secondary complications it can trigger all too well. Glad you made it through. Take your time, and don't be a stranger.
oof... I'm so sorry to hear that.
I've been pretty well read on Covid (or I thought I was) and I didn't even hear about the possibility of it affecting genetic conditions? Though it's certainly true we've seen a ton of side-effects from infections that medical science people have been struggling to explain >.<
@Aorii yeah, it took my doctors about 5 months of testing to figure out what was happening. We knew when it was triggered, because I never had problems as bad as this before covid and the issues were severe for a while right after, and they figured it would go away and get better as I recovered, but when that didn't happen so much and not only did my hands and feet not work right sometimes but I began fainting or sometimes just unable to move my body as I willed it while walking around, they then started looking into a bunch of stuff until we narrowed it down.
It sucks, it won't kill me if I remain vigilant and follow certain lifestyle changes, but it's not going away ever and it complicates things from now on. Some days I have to throw in the towel and do almost nothing because my symptoms just won't stop. Meh, yet such is life.
Been following this novel for years and im already used to waiting. Take your time recovering, your health is more important. Gonna look forward to updates though ☺️
Thank you ^o^
Oh wow! That's a lot to go through. We love your story but your health always comes first!
Thank you ^o^
