Hiro's Point of View.

Shaela's Inn in Tihany Town.

After climbing the stairs located deeper inside the store, we pass through a dim corridor, arriving at the last room. I knock on the door, but no reply comes back.

“I’m com――nh!”

As soon as I open the door, I gasp. Elora is kneeling on the floor, wiping her body. My reason told me that I should close the door and wait outside. But, I couldn’t take his eyes off her body.

She is drying her body while avoiding the freshly stitched wounds. Just that action alone looks strangely alluring.

"Yo, dalish girl!" Suzy calls her and Elora’s hand stops――

“…Your majesty?”

“Ah, no, sorry it’s not like I intended to peep on you. I just opened the door because you didn’t answer when I knocked.” I frantically explain as I enter the room.

“Could I have you close the door?”

“S-Sure.”

I close the door and am frozen in that position. I curse at myself for not having gone out on the corridor. As Elora is probably putting on some clothes, I could hear rustling from behind.

What should I do? The slut girl, Suzy acts nonchalantly while Gheyna sighs. It might have been possible to justify me having seen Elora's naked body as an accident, but me not having stepped outside right away makes it inexcusable. That's too much for a virgin like her.

“I finished changing.”

I turn around and try to apologize.. Another dalish girl, the red haired Gheyna interjects,

"Elora..How are you?"

“Please forgive me, Your majesty.” Elora bows her head before I could apologize.

“Eh?”

“I am terribly sorry for showing you such an unsightly, seedy-looking body.”

“T-That’s absolutely not true!” I say with a shrill and nervous voice.

In response, Elora lifts her head, staring my way with a look as if she is seeing something unexpected, or rather, incomprehensible.

“I-It was very beautiful!”

“There is no way for that to be true.”

“No, I mean it! It was really beautiful!” I walk up to Elora who has cast her eyes down. “I’m not lying. I truly thought that it’s pretty.”

“…Your majesty.” Elora fixes her purple eyes on me.

Somehow her eyes are looking moist.

“Ah, h-here, a present for my sick visit!”

“Thank you very much.” Elora takes the fruits Gheyna holds out to her, just to have a smile form on her lips, but so faintly that you wouldn’t notice it unless you watch very carefully. “Umm, Your Majesty?”

“W-What is it?” I respond shrilly.

“Why are you treating a dalish like me so kindly?”

I almost forgot about dalish as I fight for dark elves.

I look at her ears. Her dalish ears are not as long as Selene's who is the last survivor of the legendary elf. Dalish ears resemble dark elf's ears. While dark elves are identified with their brownish skins, dalish people have medium fair skin. Dark elves have white hairs and red eyes while dalish's hair colour varies. For example, Gheyna who is beside me has red hair while Elora's hair resembles dark elves. Dalish's eyes' colours also vary.

they were often targets of persecution and discrimination. Chrono I don’t know what kind of treatment dalish tribe received in this world, but I suspect that their treatment wasn’t all that different from dark elves by Elora’s tone and way of phrasing.

She looks down with a sad expression. As expected. She led ten men for a scouting mission but she led the team too deep into the enemy's territory.

She and her team was ambushed and outnumbered.

They killed dozens of enemies but five of her men were killed. Not only that, their corpses were left behind as they fled to the base in Tihany Town.

There are people who blamed her for the death. Including Gheyna and Elora, I only brought fifty dalish to Castall. Despite my policy, the dark elves and dalish still receive some discrimination.

Probably due to former Trinity followers. I had forcefully converted Trinity followers into Ebonite that worships only one God. While Trinity discriminates against dark elves and the dalish tribe, Ebonite treats all humans equally.

However, some people who have followed Trinity 's teaching for so long might take more time to adjust to the new religion's teaching.

“I…consider you a brave woman, Elora.”

“――gh!” Elora lifts her face in surprise. “Even though I am a dalish?”

“My feelings on this won’t change even with you being a dalish. I can’t be proud of myself, but I feel very proud to be blessed with a subordinate like you, Elora.”

“――nh!” Big teardrops roll down from her eyes.

“…Elora?”

“You’re wrong! That’s not what it means!” Elora wipes the tears away with the back of her hand, but no matter how much she wipes, new tears keep spilling out. “E-Excuse me, Your Majesty. Right now…right now…let me be with her.”

A fellow dalish girl Gheyna persuades me away and embraces Elora. Elora's face rests on Gheyna's breasts.

"Come on, Hiro." Suzy pulls my hand.

“I understand. I’ll be back later.”

Suzy and I walk away from the room and close the door behind us. I could hear Elora sobbing on the other side of the door.

"Milord..The meals are ready!" Shaela, the innkeeper calls with her high pitched voice.
