Falling Rain, Bloodying Streets (1)

All-Healing Region, in the center of the Care and Worry City. Tarn Clan territory. Within a meeting room where elders of the clan were having a meeting.

SLAM!!

"Those FUCKERS!! How dare they?!" Tarn Dethor, the 2nd elder of the Tarn Founding Clan and the one who pampers and dotes upon Diana and Natalia the most, heavily and unrestrainedly slammed against the table they were sitting around from. Even then, unlike it had been before, his strength didn't break the table at all as only some of the teapots, small cups and plates barely jumped a little bit.

To his right side, the 1st elder, Tarn Glorius, flinched slightly and looked to his left to give Tarn Dethor a good look before turning to look at the two main seats of the table and to the one in-between them. On them, was seated the grand elder of the Founding Clan, Tarn Haotian. And to his right and in front of him, was Tarn Farious, the current Clan Head of the Tarn Clan, while on Tarn Haotian's left, was Tarn Irrn, the Clan Head's wife.

Tarn Farious had red hair, black eyes and a disposition that besides tall enough to be considered a figure impossible not to notice; also had a knightly touch to his aura, visage and even in the way that he acted. His face wasn't completely serious or stern, even though underneath that slightly calm and serious stance was a revolting fury and utter hate, he remained simple-looking with his eyes travelling to all the elders and masters around the table. All while holding his wife's hand tight while she endured the hotness and a bit of pain from it.

There wasn't much need into detailing to Tarn Farious 'beauty', though he wasn't extremely handsome, prominent and dashing; he did looked quite young to around that of between 30-35 years old even though he was 78 years old already. As for his wife, Tarn Irrn, she was quite the indescribable beauty, if there were kingdom toppling beauties, then Tarn Irrn was the dynasties utter destroying beauty. Unlike Tarn Farious, her husband, she took the name of the 'Tarns' long ago, and only met him when she was 50 years old and he, Tarn Farious, was just born.

In truth, being a woman of 128 years old, she still looked even younger than her dear husband. Long ago, this little beauty was found by the masters of the Tarn Clan, and after a couple of years, she herself became a master at the age of 20. It was also her that found Diana and brought her into the Clan to be trained, in her, she saw the herself of those days years back; but even more powerful and of a higher potential. Being the way she was at those times, however, her motives for bringing her in were only to give herself more power and not for the sake of helping a lost little girl whose parents died at a certain point in time, just so that her husband and her could retain their role for a couple more hundreds of years. With the talent that Diana had, Tarn Irrn was sure of it!

Alas, it did not happened as she instead became guilt ridden after that incident almost 11 years ago occurred. And though the Tarns have made their best to apologize to both impossibly left out talents from the past, nor Natalia or Diana ever wanted to see them again. That was, of course, until Yun Beishang appeared.

Tarn Irrn had a pair of eyes so mystic that she could be considered a fairy, a legendary, unique mermaid even that could walk the earth as she moved in the water and still appear divine at the mortal's sight. The color of her left eye was azure, while that of her right eye was black and her hair color was a simple, ordinary black that reached almost above her calves. As she seated on the spot right to his husband in front of the grand elder, she gazed a the 3 elders who had the chance to presence once more the twin wonders of the Tarn Clan and her husband. Unnoticeable coldness spread from those mystic eyes as the little bit of pain of her left hand did nothing to change them.

"Third brother, please keep quiet... let the Clan Head speak, now." As Tarn Haotian spoke, his voiced out words were fleeting; except for the last words, that was not only directed at the red-faced Tarn Dethor but also to the man in front of him, Tarn Farious. With a slight jolt from his back, Tarn Farious bent over a little on his chair, his chest now placed above the table as both his elbows rested on it. Both his hands had their fingers now intertwined as he lifted his eyebrows with his head lowered and resting lightly on the back of both of his hands as he glared at every single present elder and master in the room before glancing at his right. His fury now vanished and coolness went back into his head, with still the shame of not believing himself to be the leader he once thought he could be, he spoke, "Grand elder Tarn Haotian, you will bring second elder Tarn Dethor with you to the Nascent Herb City. Go and see what the Crestfallen Industry has to say. As for you, first elder Tarn Glorious, bring 2,500 fighter planes with you, bombard the Side Branches of the Yun, Sun, Tron, Kernti and Ross Clans. Do it in 4 days, no more."

Tarn Farious then suddenly felt the hot and incredulous gazes of all those around him, everyone's, except for that of his wife. With a small instantaneous smile, Tarn Farious gripped his wife's right hand once again and spoke towards the first elder again and added, "Don't worry, I'm going to respond to the Crestfallens after this, the Crestfallen Industry has no right to say 'no'; so no no's will be accepted here as well. These few had amassed some little power, and that they think that now they can just target any other Founding Clan, that is ridiculous. We will contact the Asami, Xie, Sol, Maya, Fosk, Jones and Flick Clans to see if we can make a little comeback, if they don't, we will mark them as well to the list of enemies. We will never again support the stability of a neutral party, never again! As for you all, masters and elders of our Tarn, Founding Clan; do not worry. Because, this is indeed, a declaration of war!"

Seeing his obstinate expression and hearing his ridiculous words, the elders and masters of the meeting turned astounded, but at the same time, they couldn't feel like disobeying these orders even if they wanted to! There was still that other point, in which, their Clan Head's words were spoken with a clear and exposed shame and humiliation for all to presence, he didn't even shied away from them but even stuck his chest out and raised his voice instead. That alone would garner some little respect.

Tarn Farious then added after glancing at his wife once before turning to look back at the rest, "As for the matters of contacting the rest of them, that will be handled by my wife, Tarn Irrn. Masters, please go with her and ensure her safety, elders; follow her and stay for a few months to talk to the Crestfallen Industry of the construction of a few... 'facilities'. Meeting is over, disperse."

Once he finished saying his words, Tarn Farious stood up from the table and with his wife's left hand in his right hand, he nodded feeble once at everyone before moving away from the table and subsequently, out of the meeting room.

All this time, the grand elder, Tarn Haotian, didn't speak a single word nor did he made glares of any kind towards the Tarn Clan's Clan Head. Instead, his silence slowly proved out to admit his own heeding of orders from the always silent and thoughtless Clan Head, which instead shocked every single person inside the meeting room.

At this time, an old but excited voice was heard out drifting towards the grand elder, "Then, Eldest Brother, we should really leave right now. The fighter planes would take only a day or two to reach a couple of Regions, we should move already, really!"

Looking condescendingly at the second elder that couldn't be any more-than-happy to see his two granddaughters the most, again, Tarn Haotian then nodded quickly once before slowly standing up. When he was about to turn around with Tarn Dethor beside him, he stopped to look at the first elder and then to the rest of elders and masters as he spoke, "Glorius, make your move as quick as possible. I know the Clan Head said that you have a 4-day limit, but that's only because of our arrival to the Crestfallen Headquarters would take just that. The optimal time is to do it in even less than a day, don't be afraid of losses nor of resources! It's not the time to fret about the Clan's balance when a war is already going to erupt, get moving! Masters and elders, please protect Little Irrn very well, and aid her in every single request, even if it is about being a letter messenger to speak with Little Diana and Little Natalia, if you must bark, then bark!"

Step, step, step...

With that, the grand elder left the meeting room, not allowing even a fly the chance to fly up before its imposing back finally disappeared from their sights. All the while, the first elder, Tarn Glorius was restraining hard to not make the matters of the serious 'waging war' meeting become weird, as he felt the urge to crack one or two little innocent jokes. Only after the grand elder left did he broke off his stern and dark countenance as he placed his left elbow on the table and lowered his head with his left hand rubbing his forehead, around his eyes and temples. With his right hand making a motion to take off his imaginary glasses, he spoke out loud, "I guess this little trip will make quite the memories in the future, ah? Who wants to go sightseeing fireworks with the fast fighter team with me?"

"..." Utterly silent was a way to describe it, for everyone in the room looked at their first elder with the thought that though his balls were already set on the table, it was all when the other higher ups had already left. Thinking that this matter was indeed stressful, some of them squeezed out smiles in comprehension and looked at the man who would lead the first battle of a war between Founding Clans. Of course they wouldn't make a 'world war' of sorts, as that would make the Crestfallen Industry to let out their toys and put in place everyone else, including those who did nothing in the matter. Their 'terrible battles' would only be left to the outer territory of humanity of their New Earth.

First, because they would no longer be able to take by surprise the enemy clans that they would begin to face off for an unknown period of time, their defenses would've become terrifyingly durable and flexible a week later while their responses will be as equally as harsh they attacked them.

Second; it was way too little what humanity has taken for themselves of all of New Earth. The terrain that has been cleared out for the past thousand and hundreds of years would allow them to easily fight off a few dozens of battles of a large scale without worrying about a lack of territory for fight for.

And third. While they fought a war between interests and vendetta, these battles could also be used to the expansion of not really the human territory but that of the Founding Clan's! This could be the starting point of the progression of the human race on the New Earth! In 12 years, a new section for story books will be available, where the feats and results of the battles of 'today' would shine brighter than ever. Since it was so close to the second millennium of New Earth, however won the most or ended up as the true victors of this new war would become the insurmountable mountains of the future!

With but a slight shake of his head, the first elder patted twice the shoulder of an elder beside him and that of a master that was also beside him; and as they took out several devices with their mouths moving somewhat awkwardly, not used to the mention of their words, the first elder whose back would more often than not be hunched, became as straight as a sword for as a mighty presence began to emanate from it. Everyone in the room could even hear the might of his back as he slowly began to step out of the meeting room with his head high up, at last, the first elder would go back to destroying some lifeforms after a long, long time.

***

Nascent Herb City, on the most famous streets of the City where thousands of meters were an explanation or description short for the one of many specialties of the Nascent Herb Region-like City.

With a few 500 meters wide roads that went as far away as the naked eye could not reach for anymore in the middle of the city that also was around each and all of the City's perimeter; a young man with almost fully-drenched clothes could be seen walking on a sidewalk that was barely a few dozens of meters away from turning the corner towards quite the unique specialty of the Nascent Herb City.

He was wearing a brown-colored bermudas and had a plain blue long-sleeved shirt fully-drenched, nothing else, not even flip flops nor socks. He was slightly whistling while both his hands were seemingly kept in the what little remained of warmth under the endlessly falling but slowly nonetheless; rain.

"Fwoo~, fwoo-fweee~... Uuuh, ttttt, so cooold~. Oh my, I've arrived at here, guess I'll get into a store and eat something yummy. Phew~..." Cleaning the sweat under the never-ending rain, the young man looked to his left and right before taking a step into the long damn streets where, extremely weirdly, there was no one around. It was weird, after all, that of about hundreds of millions of people would end up passing by. Either by vehicle, on foot, underground, bike; etc. But now, there was just genuinely no one around; genuinely.

Step, step. Splash.

Pitter-patter...

With a clean sweep of his senses, Yun Beishang easily felt not a single human life close-by to the humongous streets; with not even dogs nor pets but only insects and the smallest of fauna still moving, squirming and jumping around instead. However, even then, those very same 'only lifeforms' around that were moving and still going on about on their life like there is nothing weird nor wrong going on around themselves; were not just deathly quiet but also terribly slow.

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter...

Step, step, step... step.

"Hm, I guess I'll go back and, take a nice nap-" However, before Yun Beishang could speak out loud his nice words of an easy going life while still maintaining his hands inside his bermudas' pockets, he found that the entirety of everything before him was moving. The illegally parked cars, the street lamps, sewers, stores, households and even from up in the air to below; were all moving.

Swiiiish~.

Stepstep... stepstep, stepstep, stepstep...

Whistle~~, whoosh~~.

With but more than a 'just' a few tens of thousands of shadows appearing from the 'hiding' eye of the passersby in front of the one and only casually clothed young man, the young man stopped in the middle of his turning around with his upper body twisted and turned back towards the way he came. Seemingly as if noticing something, he turned around back to face the entirety of the notorious long streets that were right before him, but when he did so...

Tshin...

...a five-eyed Caberg appeared on his head out of nowhere, while his hands were finally lifted from the pockets in his bermudas.

With both his hands appearing to wear an exquisite but actually crude-looking pair of gauntlets, the coldly, emotionless and also extremely calm yet extremely fierce-eyed Yun Beishang gazed at the crowd before him before once again, an even more wave of shadows appeared behind him on the other side of the long streets. With blue, dark, light, greyish-green/yellow, bright white, orange, a white so pure so beautiful, and ordinary red, a powerful blackish green and an orange glow flickering on and off on the 5 eye sockets of his Caberg; and both his hands wearing those pair of gauntlets whose 'nails' looked more like claws themselves...

As of right then, those shadows slowly became 'magically' visible back into reality, there was now the perfect image of each of their completely, almost-the-same armor-like outfit. It was all of a black, non-shining color, but to Yun Beishang, they were just clowns wearing their emo badges to an improvised party. They wore a helmet that seemed to imitate a circular, small gate and a rotating mechanism with slabs differing each compartment. It was all crafted so smallish-like that it would be impossible for anyone to notice, but those were anti-espionage devices that would spurt out the person's brain and whatnot before it could be caught.

Right now, they were looking at each other rather unthinkably; they thought and felt that they themselves going after a little Specialist kid was not overkill but ridiculous. They lazied around him as he was surrounded by more than 200,000 ready-to-die martyr soldiers, it was already too pointless to even move, so much that everyone remained still instead and just glanced at the 'boy'.

...But the boy suddenly disappeared from even their quiet Specialists leaders whose eyes didn't even shrunk when one of the strongest ones of them all Specialists leaders died in but an instant with his head being squashed into bits by the fully-strangely suited 'boy' who just then disappeared!

Bang! ...Bvreee-Vwlsht-Pfruiyl!

"!!!!"

With utter confusion appearing on their eyes, an overly excited Yun Beishang began to hyperventilate as his heart thumped thunderously!

...
