The Beginning Of The Answer

As soon as Yin Xiong's 'soul' energy sent itself upwards, Yun Beishang and Baston looked at one another as they knew the meaning of each other's eyes. Yun Beishang saw Baston wanting to do the exact same than the others did, die for him to give him time. While Baston saw that Yun Beishang was irked at those things, as if he had everything under his control.

“Tongqiu, one day, I’ll be able to beat you… with the rules of the previous Global Tournament, ahem. Well then, don’t just deny our help, even if we look dumb and silly, we are at least doing this for you and not for fame. So give us some respect, alright?” Baston’s voice was mild but also very tired, which was normal as Yun Beishang could even feel that the physical body of the former should be a bit sick right now even.

“I don’t know if they are hearing this, but… after this is over, I-I think I will take a break for a while. I feel like having it, I also need to spend time, a honeymoon maybe; with my wives, you know?” Baston grinned as he talked of his wives, and then saw Yun Beishang expressionlessly nock three arrows to his bowstring and then once again summoning many shadows of his arrows.

“Okay then, I also want some time alone. Well then… once Yin Xion’s skill is over, do your own. I won’t put any more embarrassment on you guys, but you are the ones asking for it, meh, up to you.” Yun Beishang shrugged his shoulders as he said this and as an intense, cold but also somehow dark energy filled the sky for an entire moment.

WHIIIIIIIISTLEEEEE~!!!

And right after, Yin Xiong’s soul body fell down like a shooting star straight towards the Demon Adorevia, to which the latter looked in awe towards it as if she had found a marvell and, instead of growing restless to the unavoidable death; smiled proudly.

Baston looked up to the shooting star that was of darkness and whose coldness could even reach him even as he was a few hundreds of meters away from where the Demon Adorevia was, a smile creeping up his heroic face. He then turned his head around to look at Yun Beishang while a tiniest of sunsets began to show in the horizon.

“Tongqiu, I know I can do it, hold it back for 13 enough seconds for your skill. So use this chance damn well, I am giving it my all to endure for that long, just for you.”

“Okay.” Said Yun Beishang, casually and with this one sole spoken word being dragged a bit, also looking still quite annoyed while Baston could only shake his head helplessly to this answer.. When suddenly..

PCK-BAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

An enormously and utterly shocking blasting noise resounded as even the cracking of the earth was totally engulfed and blocked by the blasting sound itself, with all of the area impacted being enshrouded in a powerful dark energy that resembled a deep ocean of pure ink as it completely hid the Demon Adorevia’s body that was still ‘jailed’ on the ground.

…SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM…

“You’re up, have fun.” Baston and Yun Beishang were calmly looking at the blasting radius go on and on, slowly dimming and turning less and less full of darkness and coldness, a sight that was instead beyond beautiful to the viewers on the forums as they breathtakingly looked with infatuated eyes at the scene of the explosion.

Baston felt a bit baffled as those words landed on his ears just as the new set of hundreds of arrows landed on the Demon Adorevia’s body, but without being petty, he took out his sun-like shield and sword and quickly positioned himself before Yun Beishang. Naturally, since it was a Mythical grade BOSS that could teleport, the best was to stay in one sole place so as to not waste time running around back and forth.

While he took his stance, Yun Beishang instead sat on the ground while thinking a bit deeply into what has been happening, his eyes drifted to where the Defense Against the Gods Tower was at, only to see many shadowy bits of teeth and lips gnawing and beginning to chew on it. As if it was something delicious, that they couldn’t help not taking a bite off already and so on.

…Vrrrb-Prr!

Whoosh!

And indeed, just as Yun Beishang was watching this, his eyes moved to another direction from which an incredibly tall body appeared a whole second after without making the slightest bit of sound. After it appeared, it finally made a sound as her right fist which was covered in a thin layer of ice.

“HAAAAAAAHH!!!!” Baston shout at the top of his lungs, to a degree that he has never had before, with this shout, he emanated an incredibly strong sun energy that quickly enveloped his body in which it also created a pair of sword and shield out of sun energy that only made a better complementation along with the raising of the sun in the distance.

And after just that ‘mere’ initiation, Baston became the Demon Adorevia’s dummy, bashing him, swatting him, stomping him, slapping him, punching him, sweeping him from left to right nonstop and even sometimes burying him deep underneath or being shot into the skies for hundreds and hundreds of meters.

It seemed, that once he achieved LV100 and furthermore, as well as having gained more equipment that really complemented him like nothing else could; Baston could finally become the destined best tank and most resilient players of them all as he was actually capable of buying enough time for another 2 Tongqiu’s Raind Destruction along with another one that was almost already up by the time the Demon Adorevia had shown up.

Slowly, the bashed Baston no longer had even meat to be hit on and even had most his bones totally snapped or cracked by the hits that came from the Demon Adorevia, as she never intended to go ‘easy’ on them anymore. But in Yun Beishang’s point of view, it was instead because she was no longer concerned of whatever mind battle she was having before.

And how she now wanted to fight her last one to the end with all of her believes placed on the table, and her smile showing when her time came. Even if she was a Tree Elf, known in the ancient Main Kingdom to be a hopeful and never down Race, even she had to admit to herself that such cruel fate for both sides was nowhere where it could even be amended.

“Ugh-wak! Pooh, I guess I am… uhh…” Baston had his back against the ground and his neck bent unnaturally, he could only utter those words out with Yun Beishang being only 25 meters behind him when he suddenly felt his entire body finally disappear with only his head and collarbone intact… for a cone-shaped finger was now from where what was left of his body remained on the ground.

With his consciousness disappearing and the game forcefully logging him out at last, after having denied and delayed it with his own sheer will power, Baston had finally died and turned into a disappearing glow while Yun Beishang no longer even sent his available Tongqiu’s Rain Destruction anymore and just watched Baston disappear.

“Oh, goodbye dear meat shield. Thank you for your time spent without reason, oh well, I hope I’m not being heard. But…” Yun Beishang ‘responded’ to the already gone Baston ‘heroically’, as he then turned to look at the Demon Adorevia who was still not going to talk to anybody at all, his eyes turned a bit vicious as he looked at her face and then continued with a playful grin on his lips.

“...with you here, that should be the case, huh?”

In response to Yun Beishang’s words, the Demon Adorevia only gazed down at him with her darkest eyes showing signs of a pure white and light green. Yun Beishang shrugged his shoulders to this while the Demon Adorevia still only glanced down at him, he took a stance with his foot and legs clumsily moving around, raised his bow and aimed it at her heart before saying.

“I haven’t tried this before, last time I did, it went bad for me though… though I ended up being successful in whatever I wanted to achieve, so. Please be honored in being my first, okay? I’m also a bit nervous, heh heh.”

Creaaak~.

As Yun Beishang said so with obvious self-ridicule and with also some ridicule directed at her and those around, he pulled his already aimed up bow’s bowstring and had two arrows nocked on it. With his face showing a tired expression that has only been present a few time before, like the time he said goodbye to the Founding Yun Clan and his Sister, albeit temporarily.

The same could be said when he fought against Harlofk, or even early on when he used his Pure’s Essence for the first time in the way that it is supposed to be. His face even became a tad less healthy as he began congregating his Hidden Stats altogether, while the surrounding space began trembling incessantly.

“!” The Demon Adorevia no longer had any strong pretense of calmness, and finally showed a not only shocked but also exhilarant expression and even more so from the glint in her eyes, as she gazed at the almost 300 meters long and 111 meters wide shadows of arrows converge all around her with an astronomical number of 200!

“Oh dear, yup… just as awful as I thought it would’ve be.” Yun Beishang thought as he felt his entire brain begin to collapse, the insane amount of things he was doing at once were really making him feel like a person about to become useless.

With his mentality crumbling, a very strange but already expected system notification began to appear on his right eye’s retina as he smirked up a little bit more viciously.

*PING*...host’s use of Hidden Stats has exceeded the limit for another tenth fold, host’s is now receiving actual mental damage from playing the game and will now be forced.

*PING*...host has denied the forceful logging out of the game, HP will be reduced in 10% every 0.5 seconds.

-15,280.

-15,280.

-15,280.

-15,280…

Just as Yun Beishang’s HP went from 30,560 to 15,280, his tired opened eyes blinked and when his eyelids opened back up again, they were directed at the Demon Adorevia’s eyes while his arrows were still pointed at her heart.

Soo soo!

The arrows left the bowstring he was dearly and barely holding on to, his arms wobbly and feeble as they shook even as they no longer held the same pose, while the 200 shadows of arrows were all sent to the Demon Adorevia’s heart with an insane speed!

Total Combustion!

Supreme Last Stand!

Omnipresent Cosmo Epsilon Shot!

Tongqiu’s Rain Destruction!

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH…

As every incredibly large and wide shadowy arrow made its way to her heart, they seemingly became a perfectly organized flock of birds that adjoined one another and didn’t detonated to the touch alone. As Yun Beishang’s eyelids were feeling heavy, the even heavier atmosphere of Main Kingdom; of Rising Essence, began to turn somber and imminent as the earth quaked and the skies cried.

SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM!!!!!!!!

“... … … …”

Everyone watching this, even the recently killed off Baston who had already been given a healthy beverage as soon as he was forcefully logged out of the game by a worried Mort and Ozea, felt the world stop; their world stop. As they couldn’t believe the kind of destruction that all of  what was happening was indeed created by one of them, a Journeyer.

Even the thoughts of their NPCs comrades having fallen entirely was suddenly replaced by the incredible sight of colorful destruction. With their breaths taken away from themselves, they could only remember the fact that they have eyes as they witnessed what they couldn’t when it happened long ago at the Azure Dragon Sub-Divisional City.

What none of them could see though, was that in Yun Beishang was nothing else but a violet drawing being formed all over his eyeballs, it was messy and blurry at first but, as Yun Beishang kept on looking beyond the colorful explosions that rang out nonstop and deafeningly at an even such close proximity… it grew clearer and clearer until it turned fully solid and… completely formed!

It was a strange composition of tear-like light violet-colored objects that were strangely dancing about upwards in either midair or in space. It looked like it was messy and even not well thought out, but it emitted an incredibly strong sensation of solidness and genetics that it became easy to be lost and self-absorbed just by watching it in Yun Beishang’s eyes.

They even looked like animated fireworks at that, but none of that mattered to Yun Beishang as of in the ‘right now’, for as his attention was instead completely taken over by the fact that only the sounds of the earth cracking were heard but were not actually happening like they had done so before.

Maybe it was because of the fact that the Demons should’ve had done something with it, or that even Adorevia herself did it, but there was indeed an obvious change to all of this.

And just as the earth was intact, so was the Demon Adorevia as she only squatted down on the floor with her knees totally bent over and her shins against the grounds, her back was slightly leaned back as she was still tens of meters tall and large, while her arms were all sprawled on the ground with her head thrown backwards.

Then, a small tear fell down from her right lacrimal, and her lips opened to utter out words of melancholy, sadness, confusion, destroyed hope and with their and her own warmth gone forever.

“Why, like this… where was it even… where was it ever… necessary? You Gods?! It’s been so long, yet… you still look forward to end us, why…? Nothing was wrong, but nothing was the reason too. Could it be, were you too bored?! This hatred… is not mine alone… even if, only this Kingdom remains, it will… be your own doom!!”

Venomous, hatred, irreconcilable purpose of life… all that and more were present in the Demon Adorevia’s facial expression as she gazed upwards with her head still thrown almost fully backwards. But then, she turned her head to the angle in which the ‘camera’ was positioned at without being able to be move, made a grasping emotion with her right hand that was one finger less than her left one before slowly turning her hed to none other than Yun Beishang.

“But now… let me show you one last time, what doom really is…”

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH~~~~~~~!!!!!!

Without any prior warning, Yun Beishang’s sight was stolen and became pure darkness. The each and every ‘camera angle’ around all of Main Kingdom turned dark as well as Yun Beishang disappeared from the ‘main’ camera angle as it darkened in but an instant and, before the viewers could think of it as a legendary fail… it occurred…

***

Everyone’s sight then became that of one that was in space, where several planets could be seen existing, coexisting and peacefully living together. There were spaceships, spacecrafts and smaller cargo spaceships here and there that were all moving at a speed impossible to make a difference from what New Earth could know of as they were nowhere near something similar to this advancement and huge leap in technology yet.

There weren’t ‘just a few’ planets around and, in truth, there were dozens and dozens nearby, while if looking in even farther depth; hundreds more could be seen instead. All of them held a dear point in life that could never be understood by New Earth’s citizens, but could at the very least, be respected and idolized about.

The scene changed slowly, as it then moved at insane speeds to which even though every single planet shown was to be at the very least, as big as New Earth, the ‘camera’ move through in a way that it went past thousands of them in just a few seconds.

Then, arriving at a certain point in which from the left side of the screen, an enormous planet beyond any being’s comprehension was barely shown and teased on the screen before swiftly disappearing. Right as it disappeared, so did the ‘camera’ stopped moving on and instead, slowly turned leftwards as it began to show the planet teased just now.

Though as if for some strange reason, none of the people watching this were capable of speaking, breathing loudly or even do as much as moving their lips or blinking, with only their eyeballs being capable enough to rotate.

For as, what everyone was now seeing, was a planet that was the same size of a bunch of those other planets being adjoined together with one another, even dozens of them would be getting short to rival to this one huge planet’s diameter and volume. Because even as it was indeed larger than any other in diameter and even when put together, it was even more ‘full’ that it was even possible to think for any human being of New Earth.

Just this sight alone marveled so many people and had their souls crumble while their souls shivered and shook ever so slightly but numbly at the same time, making their pores harden as ticklish sensations inundated them once more.

It wasn’t colorful to a godly level, but it had so much land that it could barely be understood how could it be a planet when even those other ‘smaller’ planets were at the very least 40% water on the surface, naturally without being able to know its true quantity of water on every planet from just looking at it from space.

But even then, this one huge planet was definitely the one and only that could ever be called king, godly or even… universal!

But then, the camera swiftly moved and, where it moved was a completely whole different sight from before as not even planets were shown. Even then, there was an even larger expansion of a faction’s territory than that of the entire smaller planets from before; as if 2 different galaxies.

And this one galaxy in particular without any planet… only had spacecrafts as their foundation, godly-looking, magnificent, full of dark, brownish golden and so large that it could be considered to be 3 to 4 times larger than the previous galaxy.
