does Luna's ice explode? fulminating is just a really old word for explosive, often used by alchemists, for example fulminating gold was first created by alchemists in 1585, it was the first high explosive to ever be made, ~300 years before TNT was first invented. alchemists were actually pretty smart, we may laugh at them for trying to create gold and live forever, but if you know that you can mix stuff together to get entirely different stuff why not try and figure out if you can make gold? also what 2 things are better for convincing rich people to pay you besides money and eternal life? yes, i did only bring this up to rant about alchemists.

actually, fulminating just means sudden or severe, the latin origin of the word Fulmin(Fulmen) literally means lightning though. fulminating gold I assume is called that because it creates a sudden and severe explosion, like lightning
