CHAPTER 18: THE AFTERMATH

Due to the loud noise of Explosion and the destruction of the building, the locals quickly rushed on the scene. They were dumbfounded looking at the sudden collapse of the building. Some young dumb teens were taking selfies at the sight, not knowing of what happened there.
The City’s Beast Hunting squad soon arrived and secured the perimeter so as to not let anyone go near the school.
“Xiao Ke, you received the call 40 minutes ago right?” A tall burly man asked the sweet looking young girl beside him while looking astonished by the scene in front of him.
“Ye.. yes I did...” the girl named Xiao Ke answered while she had the same expression as the man.
“Captain Xu! I searched the area but I didn’t find traces of human or Magical Beast. We’ll have to clear out the rubble first” A flashy handsome guy quickly arrived while riding the wind and reported to the tall burly man.
“I see... Call the construction sites earth mages! I want this area to be cleared out by noon.” Ordered Captain Xu Dahuang.
“Roger that!” said the handsome guy and immediately took out his phone and called someone.
Soon the whole area was filled with the news of the collapse of the building and the social media was as well.

A young guy around 16 years old quickly arrived at the place while a policeman was following him not far behind.
He was flabbergasted at the sight and was boiling with rage as he watched that his plan being buried underneath the building. He quickly left the area and called the people responsible for digging up the hole and cursed at them. They had taken 5 years to build that tunnel slowly and steadily as they couldn’t afford to alert the people from Magic Association and Enforcement Union. They even tamed some of those lowly Colossal Eyed Ape Rats just so they could finally connect a tunnel from the Demon Wolves Kingdom to here. But the day it was finally succeeded was the day it miserably failed as well.
They couldn’t use the Mingwen Girls Middle School now as it was the centre of attention to so many people. Yu Ang soon received a call from a Blue Deacon working for the Great Deacon.
He literally hurled hundreds of curses at him and said that if he failed him again, he will burn half of his face. As punishment he cut off all the cultivation tools given to him and demoted his rank from Grey Priest to Black Clergy.

While all this was happening, Mo Fan had already left the area and finally reached the doorstep of Mo Qing’s house.
He lost consciousness and crashed on the door which made a loud noise. The door was opened soon after and the one opening the door was a beautiful fairy on a wheelchair, Ye Xinxia.
She saw a man bleeding on her doorstep, he was injured all over his body, but he had three eye catching gory gashes on his back, she was given a great fright as she was not even able to Utter a single voice from her cute little mouth looking at him. Her eyes turned white and soon after she also fainted on her wheelchair.
Ye Xinxia was a sheltered and kind girl, who would even mourn for a mosquito after Mo Fan killed them. She would even get mad at him for them if he killed them while torturing them. She also did not liked horror as she would always hide inside Mo Fan’s shirt Glued to him, while he used to laugh at jump scares, and she would literally faint watching gore and corpses scenes.
“Xinxia~ Who’s there?” Mo Qing’s voice resounded from inside, as she quickly came over as Ye Xinxia was not responding.
Her eyes widened at the sight and she was also given a great fright, as she watched the scene she quickly pulled Ye Xinxia’s wheelchair away from the entrance and grabbed Mo Fan and pulled him in who was long gone unconscious, while closing the door.
She quickly teared his blood soaked t-shirt and grabbed a clean cloth and some antiseptic from the closet, 3 packages of Blood serums from the fridge and water from the kitchen.
She quickly came over and washed Mo Fan’s backs wound first and stop their bleeding. The bleeding soon stopped and she cleaned them. Then she applied the antiseptic on his wounds, Mo Fan’s face tensed up as the wound started burning. She quickly wrapped him up in bandages nicely.
To be honest, she almost lost her ground beneath her feet when she saw Mo Fan lying in this condition, beneath the doorstep.
_This kid literally left just 40 minutes ago, what the hell happened that he ended up in this situation_ she was tearing up as her hands started to shake while patching him up. How could someone do this to him.
Her heart ached as she watched him groaning in pain.
Ye Xinxia who soon regained her consciousness and saw the Wounds on her beloved brother Clearly this time, previously she was not able to see his face, so she just straight up fainted thinking it was a stranger. But now she clearly saw his pained expression and the horrible wounds on him. Her breathing turned uneven, she started to hyperventilate and was struggling to breathe properly. Her forehead broke out in cold sweat as she burst into tears and frantically crawled out of the wheelchair, even though she was not able to walk.
“Brother... Big Brother Mo Fan!! Mo Fan!!” She shrieked as she crawled near him. Her heart griped with fear and a sense of helplessness as she watched him.
“Xinxia, wake him up and give him the blood serums, he has lost a lot of blood. I’ll go and call a healer I know.” Mo Qing quickly got up, she placed the blood serums near Xinxia and dashed out of the door.
Xinxia took the Blood serums and poured it in Mo Fan’s mouth, but he was not drinking it.
“Brother Mo Fan wake up! Hurry up and wake up! You have to drink them.” Ye Xinxia said as she slapped him and sprinkled some water on his face, but he didn’t woke up, instead his face was becoming more and more pale as his body was ice cold.
He was shivering. Ye Xinxia’s head was in a mess seeing him like this, as she didn’t knew what she was supposed do, she quickly remembered a scene of a romantic movie she saw with Mo Fan in a theatre. The guy who was drowned was saved by the girl after she performed the CPR on him.
_I can’t use CPR but I can make him drink it that way_ Ye Xinxia thought.
She grabbed a packet of the blood serum, and quickly drank a mouthful of it. She went near Mo Fan’s lips and locked her lips with his as she made him drink it.
Cough cough...
Mo Fan coughed a few times but he was properly drinking them.
Her expression brightened up as she repeated the process over and over again as she finished making him drink all three packets.
His complexion improved a lot as his body became warm again. His expression looked a little comfortable than before now.
She was relieved and looked at him pitifully.
_What happened? Why is he hurt so much?_ As her heart calmed down, questions erupted within her mind but she had no way of knowing until he woke up.

Soon Mo Qing arrived with a female healer. The Female healer cast a few healing spells and healed all his wounds.
“The Wounds he suffered are definitely from a Magical Beast.” The healer said firmly as she inspected them before healing them.
“I.. I see...” Mo Qing nodded her head as she also arrived at that conclusion herself but the question is how did he encounter a magic beast in the city?
“I’m pretty sure he’s related to the collapse of the school’s building” the healer said suddenly as she did see the people of the City’s Beast hunters securing the perimeter. They will only arrive when a Magic Beast was involved.
Mo Qing did not say anything as she bit her lip. Looking at her, the female Healer sighed...
“Sigh, all his wounds are healed, he will wake up pretty soon, so I’ll be taking my leave now.” She closed one of her eyes and said casually as she patted Mo Qing on her shoulder and sensibly left.
Mo Qing was grateful to her healer friend as to not disclosing this matter to anyone.
She silently watched the two kids sleeping in front of her. It was already morning, the healing took quite a bit of time, so after Mo Fan’s wounds were all healed up, fatigue hit Ye Xinxia and she fell asleep beside him.
