"HEY!" (Lucy)

"You've just described us in Time freeze haven't you?"

"Yes."

"LILY!" (Lucy)

"...Pevert..."

"Said the one who almost made me add the sexual content warning."

"Ehehe..."

"LILY!" (Lucy)

"Ah, huh?"

"Type 2 got caught!" (Lucy)

"Damn, I'll need to work on my attention span. We're coming!"

Wait a second...

[Time acceleration {FlowRate:1%,Exclusions:[(soulRace:"Lily")]}]

Alright, let's see...

Looks like she's being shown an illusion.

From her facial expression, it seems like an unpleasant one, and looking at her brain activities, it is highly probable that the illusion is based her memories.

How could she have any terrible memories? She looks so young.

Best course of action is to ignore it and help her snap out of it.

But if this affect her performance as a Magical Girl or even worse, her mental health, it's better to solve this problem as soon as possible.

I suggest we see what she's experiencing then act accordingly.

Hmm...

Are you four done with thinking?

Yes, let's do that.

Hey, don't you think this is too poor of an excuse to test out the [Soul] hex and find out about her past?

*Cough*, I mean... don't you feel curious about her past too?

We all are.

That I agree, but why weren't you saying anything, Kirin? I thought it was your job to [Stahp] the chaos?

This won't cause any chaos, we're just making a Soul Link with Type 2, read a bit of her memories then return everything to how it was.

Bu-

Alright, let's do it!

But first, a little fight scene just to push Type 2's backstory to the next chapter.

Thinking back, it was when we wrote to this part in the novel that yo-

[Stahp]

Right... uhh... [Time acceleration {FlowRate:10000%,Exclusion:[(soulRace:"Lily")]}]

Alright, let me actually do my job as a self narrating protagonist here.

First, Lucy uses her Soul Weapon's ability, or to be exact, Trtl used [Shield Deploy] on the nine of us, including Type 2.

*Temere's POV*

[Time Stop]

I'll never understand why people in fantasy works never put up a barrier on the rescue targets when they absolutely can then just protect them while dealing with the extermination targets. Like if you need to save a person being held hostage by a knife holding bandit, just cast a barrier spell on that person then blast the bandit with whatever you've got. Or perhaps there's a range limit or perhaps personal space limit? I don't know. Well whatever, back to Lily.

[Time Continue]

*Lily's POV*

Next, all seven "me"s summon our Soul Weapons, which for some reasons each and every one of us made a different one after The Splitting. Yep, that's the name of the event now, deal with it. Well, we can still use each other's Soul Weapon, but it won't feel as good as our own.

The first to attack is Auda with her, uhh... Solidtar Laser Gun?1"Gas"ter Blasters. Well they look a lot more futuristic with a deep ocean blue base and sky blue circuits. The laser beams are 2% mana and the rest is photon just so they don't cut through too many vines. Still, in the end, around 20% of the vines in the vicinity was wiped out. Next, Kirin casts [Time acceleration {FlowRate:5%,Targets:[(soulRace:"Monster",regna:[(name:"Plants")],maxDistanceFromCaster:10m)],Duration:5s}] with her green stop sign magic staff thingy and I slice some of the vines down with the extended blade of my scyth- *cough* excuse me, Wakhep Arsuthin. Finally, Accenta throws a bunch of [Fire Ball] at the remaining vines, controling the mana so that the vines wouldn't get too damaged.

At this point, I feel the plant monster thingy starts to retaliate with some kind of illision type spell, so I get hit by it on purpose just so I have an excuse for what would happen afterward.

[Soul establish link {Individuals:[(name:"Lily",soulRace:"Lily),(name:"Type 2",soulRace:"Mortal")],ExchangeSoulEnergy:"false"}]

"What are you doing?" (Ketsu)

Great, if I can hear you that means the Soul Link has been successfully established, now, to the Hippocampus!
