(Birb's POV)

"Alright team, you had your codenames, it's time to get your first mission." (Oliver)

"Question!" (Hannah)

"Yes." (Oliver)

"I thought it's the job of the manager of the squad to get it?" (Hannah)

"We are one of the smaller squads, so we will decide it with a majority vote, this kind of squads were basically formed to nurture your potential. You might might not know this, but all of you are in the top ten in potential for a Magica. We have the top combatant, Prrot, Leo and B, stealth master Kad and Monke for infiltration, sensor Zincra and Kávouras, Wanu and Wuf are coding focused, so they can hack the spells of the enemy, and Koshira, err... nuke... *Cough* anyways, let's go get a briefing about available missions." (Oliver)

The squad the proceed to check the data base for missions for a new team, mainly Wanu does it, but

"Alright, for starters, we have this herb gathering quest..." (Cowboi)

'What the fuck is this? An isekai manga?' (Prrot)

"...the monster colony extermination mission..." (Cowboi)

"...and the demolition mission." (Cowboi)

"All of them are pretty simple, we should take them all." (Prrot)

"Yeah... I think so too..." (Cowboi)

A few days later, we set out for our missions. The order is herb gathering, demolition then extermination for last, from distance closest to farthest.

The first mission is a breeze, we swoop down a world, pick up a few World Tree branches, and leave the rest growing. The second one is a little trickier, we have to not only blow up the planet, but the entire system. After several days of nuking the celestial bodies, they finally collapse. The system chief was a nice guy though, he offered us a small station to stay while we were doing the job. The final mission is a lot farther away from the barrack than the previous two, being half way to the opposite side of the galaxy if we were to go from the edge. Well, to be exact, it is at the edge since the Galaxy's defense is pretty high and they haven't gotten far inside.

"Alright, we have arrived at the outskirt of the occupied system. From here on out, stay in two teams each with Kad and Monke, they will provide the SP radiation blockade." (Cowboi)

So, we start our approach.

We're at the place that can be called the headquarter of the colony and there wasn't even a single monster here.

"Was the information wrong?" (Kad)

"It's unlikely, but not impossible." (Monke)

"Wait... watch ou-" (Kávouras)

A surprise explosion occurs right below us, blowing everyone away. The force was so powerful, it only took one second to leave the planet's atmosphere. A faint silhouette of a dragon can be seen inside the flame of the explosion, and it seems to be monologuing.

'[Space sound]' (Birb)

"If you're gonna monologue, do it with [Space sound] on!" (Birb)

"*Cough* sorry. Now where was I? Right, *insert monologue here* *insert more monologue here* *this guy's monologuing about how his home planet got destroyed and how he became a monster then about how he is purifying this universe blah blah blah for around 60 minutes, so stay here and stare at this for 60 minutes and you're good to go*." (Dragon monster)
