Its surrounding was completely dark. The titan felt that it was being pushed along by the wormhole like a jellyfish in a current. The wormhole, which should have been somewhat calm enough to be used for transport, shook violently occasionally, tearing open wounds all over the titan. The titan roared in anger and pain, but it was unfortunately powerless to do anything. Thankfully, its natural regeneration is capable of handling the wounds it receives.

Throughout the millions years of its existence, it had never felt so powerless before. Sure, it had been forced to retreat by stronger foes before, but that was only during its early days and it eventually defeated them in the future. As it grew stronger, its pride grew along with it. As such a prideful being, how could it bear being weaker than anything? It promised itself to one day be capable of overcoming this strange phenomenon where the sky opens up and swallows it.

With nothing else to do, it could only get lost in its thoughts. It did not know how long had passed. All it knew was that the wounds it receives from the occasional violent tremors was gradually decreasing over time. It attempted to fire off its breath attack multiple times into the void, but other than lighting up its surrounding, which was empty, for a few seconds, it didn't seem to have any effect.

Thus, despite the constant pain inflicted on it by the wormhole, it eventually entered a state of hibernation and ceased any movements.

One day, as if stimulated by something, it opened its eyes. After observing its surroundings for a moment, it realized that it was getting brighter. It wasn't by much, but after living in total darkness for who knows how long, it was very sensitive to such changes. A feeling of anticipation began welling up inside of it as its surroundings grew brighter and brighter. Despite the injuries, it reared its head backwards to release a triumphant roar the moment it escapes from this prison.

Then, the world around it suddenly became blindingly bright. The roar it was about to release got stuck in its throat. It could see the clouds it was familiar with before it got swallowed, but why were they located below it?

Wriggling its stout legs below it, it began plummeting towards the ground. Roaring with anger, it could only brace itself for the impact.

~~~~~~~~~~
On a grassy plain, two armies could be seen standing off against each other. One of the army was only a third of the size of the other army, but it could be seen from their equipment that the smaller army was definitely better funded. Covered entirely in a dark grey plate armor, their discipline could be seen as they stood at attention in silence while waiting for the order to attack to be given.
On the other hand, gloomy expressions could be seen on the faces of the soldiers in the larger army. Outfitted in brown leather armor, they would definitely lose against an opposing soldier in an one on one match.
Both army had a group of robed men behind them, with the smaller army having five times as many robed men. Their robes were the same color as the army they were standing behind, signifying their allegiance.
A fully armored soldier rode out from the middle of the larger army on horseback. He stared grimly at the army opposite of him before turning towards his own men. At the top of his voice, he shouted towards his own men
{We are the last line of defense between the army of the Empire and our Capital! If you don't want our Kingdom to fall and our people to be enslaved, then we must fight! And we must win!}
After being reminded of the reason they joined the army, the soldiers of the Kingdom slowly straightened up. Although it can't be said that the speech was effective on every single men, looks of determination began appearing on the faces of the soldiers, subtly changing the atmosphere of the army. The army which previously gave of the aura of a push over now looked like they could actually posed a challenge.
The General of the Empire's army, on the other hand, used a different tactic to encourage his men.
{Once we reach the Capital of the Kingdom, anything you plunder will belong to you! Even the people!}
The Empire's soldier remained in their position without making a sound, but excitement could be seen on their faces. The General couldn't help but let out a sigh.
He was a talent scouted by the Empire to the Capital from one of the smaller countries that was a part of it. When he first learnt about this technique to raise morale during his time the Royal Academy, he was truly disgusted by it. But for the past few days, he realized this technique was truly effective. And due to the small amount of soldiers, there is a limit to what they could plunder. Besides, most soldiers would focus on capturing people instead since slaves could only be legally obtained in a war.
The sun had just risen slightly above the horizon. If either army remained in the grass plains for a few more hours, they would soon have to suffer under the midday sun while fighting and neither army wanted that. Just as both Generals were about to give the command to move forward...
Suddenly, one of the soldiers at the front yelled out:
{Hey, what's that?}
Truthfully, quite a lot of soldiers had already noticed this phenomenon. A trickle of some sort of liquid could be seen raining down from the sky, and it clearly wasn't water. In mere moments, the trickle grew increasingly large, eventually becoming a stream.
{It's... blood?!}
A stream of blood could be seen falling from the sky directly in between both armies, and it was steadily growing larger. The faces of the soldiers of both armies paled as they looked towards the sky. A crack of pure darkness could be seen in the middle of the gradually brightening sky, combined with the fact that blood was continuously flowing out of it, gave everyone an ominous feeling. The soldiers at the back of the Kingdom's army even began to back up.
{Spatial Magic! It's Spatial Magic! And it's very powerful at that!}
One of the brown robed men suddenly yelled, his voice boosted by Magic so that it could be heard by the entire army. The Kingdom's General turned around in shock. Spatial Magic? Wasn't that one of the top magic in the world?
He wanted to give the order to his army to retreat for now, but he realized that his men were already backing away on their own initiative. He glanced back towards the Empire's army to find that they were holding their position. Giving out a loud sigh, he began retreating along with his army.
Seeing the Kingdom retreat first, the Empire's General sneered and also gave the order to retreat. Just then, the blood flowing out from the crack in the sky suddenly increased in intensity, now more akin to gushing out. Chunks of flesh could even be seen mixed together with the blood. The soldiers, who were retreating orderly, began shoving and pushing in order to retreat faster.
There are many religions in this world. Worshipping a God is considered the norm. And no matter the religion, except maybe for a few evil cults who worship evil Gods, blood raining down from the sky usually signify that shit was about to go down.
{Look! Look up!}
No one knew who exactly yelled that, but the soldiers all begin raising their head, only to enter a state of confusion. There was nothing to be seen except for the crack which everybody had already known about.
{Look closer! Something is falling down!}
More and more people began noticing some kind of dark figure falling amidst in the blood rain, and judging by the current size and distance of the figure, it was definitely big.
{Run!}
Whatever emerges from a totally black sky crack along with millions of gallons of blood couldn't be good news. As the soldiers were fleeing, the figure finally made contact with the ground.
{BOOM!}
A thundering sound could be heard as a shockwave emerged from the collision. Those who weren't steady enough on their feet were immediately knocked over by the shockwave. Many soldiers couldn't help but look behind them in fear.
The dark figure could be seen raising up from the ground from outside of the blood rain. The blood rain gradually eased up, revealing the figure within.
The figure was completely covered in blood, but it could be seen from its shape that it was an upright, bipedal, dinosaur-like creature. As the blood flowed off the figure, purple dorsal plates were revealed on its back. The creature seemed to be observing both armies on either of its side with its intelligent yellow eyes.
Finally, it took a step forward, reared its head backwards before roaring towards the sky.
