  [Reincarnator's Quests]:

[Special Quest: "Legendary being": Achieve S+ Rank 5 times.]

  {Reward: Speak with God.}

I guess god's time is valuable, but the idea that I can speak to someone like god kinda blows my mind, considering I didn't even believe they existed before I died.

The stats seem pretty simple, the names of each of them speaks for themselves, but can I seriously make myself more intelligent with just a bunch of points?

"Wait, how the hell does putting a point in any of this just overall improve something in my body?"

『By using various calculations that you're too stupid to understand.』Okay dude.

Guess, I'll have to raise my intelligence then.

"How much is one stat?" I ask a stupid question akin to 'how much is one kilogram' but the Tool answers.

『The average human adult on Earth has 100 in each stat, with 3 outliers, wisdom and intelligence being around 30 points higher and
perception and strength being around 20 points lower.』

I was surprised at how helpful the tool is, but considering literally god created it, I should expect that much.

"How much does a stat cost?"

『10 points each, With costs increasing with each individual stat's tier, with each E tier stat costing 100 points.』

"Please show me my available abilities"

  {Intelligence} Abilities tab:

You have 9 General Abilites available for purchase.

[General Ability: "Joy in literary study(F)": You enjoy studying educational literature much more! Cost: 50 points.] How much more?!?

[General Ability: "Speed Through Textbooks(E)": When studying educational literature, your brain moves 1% faster! (Base increases  by 1% for every level) Cost: 250 points.]

If it increases for every level, then it must mean that I can improve the skill somehow, if I couldn't have, it'd be a lackluster reward for my hard earned points!

[General Ability: "Joy in math(F)": You enjoy performing mathematics much more! Cost: 50 points.]

[General Ability: "Focus on the basics(E)": When performing basic mathematics, you get a temporary boost of 5 stats in perception!
(Base increases by 1 stats for every level.) Cost: 250 points.]

[General Ability: "Big numbers are hard(D)": When performing basic mathematics, you are able to percieve complex numers more
 coherently!
 Cost:1500 points.]

Oh, I really want this one, it's really annoying when an algebra problem has like fifty thousand decimals for each number.

[General Ability: "Speed Through PEMDAS(C)": When performing basic mathematics, your brain moves 1% faster! (Base increases  by 1% for every level) Cost: 7500 points.]

"Tool, what is basic mathematics?" I ask before it replies with the obvious 『Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division]

[General Ability: "Trial and error births success(F)": You are able to associate an idea with random numbers very easily, allowing you
to find answers quickly by means of trial and error! Cost: 50 points.]

[General Ability: "Sapient calculator(E)": You are able to remember sets of questions and answers extremely efficiently, causing you  to rival a calculator in the (subject to change) four+/- digit range! (Improves incrimentally for every level) Cost: 250 points]

Seems extremely good... If calculators didn't exist. I still don't get why schools always forced us to remember mathematical tables.

[General Ability: "Reliable Employee(E)": When working for someone else, you find it easier to understand their requests and needs!  Cost: 250 points.]

It's convenient to not have to sit around doing jack-shit because your boss isn't clear with your position when working in retail or whatever else.

You have 1 Special Ability available for purchase

[Special Ability: "Financially Smart(E)": You instinctively know how much you owe someone, no matter how minor! Cost: 250 points.]
*Special Abilities do not have levels, nor can they be upgraded.

『You have 0 Exceptional Abilities available for purchase.』

   {Communications} Abilities tab:

You have 6 General Abilities available for purchase.』

[General Ability: "Joy in words(F)": When intending to improve someone's mood, your words will have a more positive effect on their  emotions! Cost: 50 points.]

That's something I want.

[General Ability: "Gloom in words(F)": When intending to agitate someone's despair, your words will have a more negative effect on  their emotions! Cost: 50 points.]

That's not what I want.

[General Ability: "Noble Face(F)": When following cultural etiquette your Charisma is raised by .1% to .5% depending on how well   you act! (Base increase by .5% for every level) Cost: 50 points.]

Who the hell uses the word etiquette to describe common decency?

[General Ability: "Speed Through Words(F)": When learning languages, your brain moves 1% faster! (Base Increases by 1% for
 every level. Cost: 50 points.]

Well, if I reincarnate in asia or something this would be useful, but considering I am literally reincarnating is this even that noteworthy? Since I'd have like 12 years as a kid to learn the language, even if I was stubborn about it.

[General Ability: "Convincing trade(F)": When selling someone a product worth 99% less than the money they have at hand, your
charisma is raised by 1%! (Base lowers{former} and increases{latter} by 1% for every level) Cost: 50 points]

If I could get this to level 100 I'd have double charisma, but this seems too situational to be overall very useful.

[General Ability: "Reliable looking employee(F)": When applying for a job, your possible future employer is likelier to take you
 seriously! Cost: 50]

This would have been useful if I hadn't been doing freelance, but that may possibly change in my next life.

『You have 2 Special Abilities available for purchase.』

[Special Ability: "Bad Childhood Friend(D)": You can cause anyone under the age of 18 that considers you a friend to permanently
fear you as long as they do not have more than double your Vitality! Cost: 1500 points.]
*Special Abilities do not have levels, nor can they be upgraded.

What the actual fuck??? It was an accident! It's not like I wanted him to be traumatised after following me over the river! And this is a really evil skill! Why the hell would I want to do that to a friend?

[Special Ability: "Basement Dweller(F)": When living with your parents, they become 1% luckier! Cost: 50 points.]
*Special Abilities do not have levels, nor can they be upgraded.

Pretty rude name for the ability, but this seems like a really nice ability to know that you have, unless I have shit parents or something.

『You have 0 Exceptional Abilities available for purchase.』

  {Combat} Abilities Tab:

『You have 2 General Abilities available for purchase.』

[General Ability: "Joy in fisting(F)": You enjoy partaking in hand-to-hand combat more! Cost: 50 points.]

[General Ability: "Joy in murder(F)": You enjoy committing in murder more! Cost: 50 points.]

I will NEVER buy that.

『You have 0 Special Abilities available for purchase.』

『You have 0 Exceptional Abilities available for purchase.』

  {Magic} Abilities Tab:

I don't understand why this has it's own tab, illusionism could on it's own just be in the communication tab.

but that opinion was soon reverted when I read the next two skills

『You have 2 General Abilities available for purchase.』

[General Ability: "Joy is magic(E)": When using mind magic, you find it 1% easier to make someone happy! (Base increases by 1% for every        level) Cost: 250]

[General Ability: "Gloom is magic(E)": When using mind magic, you find it 1% easier to make someone sad! (Base increases by 1% for every      level) Cost: 250]

What the fuck is mind magic? Sounds extremely fantastical and like a huge scam!

『You have 0 Special Abilities available for purchase.』

『You have 0 Exceptional Abilities available for purchase.』

  {Arts} Abilities tab:

『You have 1 General Ability available for purchase.』

[General Ability: "Joy in music(F)": You enjoy creating, listening, or performing music much more! Cost: 50 points]

『You have 1 Special Ability available for purchase.』

[Special Ability: "Look at me!(D)": When performing music, people will be far likelier to take interest in your performance! (Works with
recorded audio aswell) Cost: 1500 points.]

『You have 0 Exceptional Abilities available for purchase.』

  {Extensive} Abilities tab.

『You have 2 General Abilities available for purchase.』

[General Ability: "Quick Restart(F)": Whenever you want, wherever you are, you can kill yourself easily! (Level up allows the soul to  be ejected out of the world faster) Cost: 50 points.]

That's really eerie to have, and honestly seems kinda useless, if I wanna die, I can just kill myself normally... Unless I get captured by the army or something or something, but it's not like I'll be joining the military! Also, what if I accidentally use it in my dreams or something??

『The system protects you from that』

"Oh.. thanks Tool, still a useless ability though!"

[General Ability: "Imbue instrument(F)": Every instrument you hold gets imbued with your vitality to strengthen it! (only effective while
you hold it) 1% of your vitality stat gets copied and converted into mana, each point of vitality counting as 50 points of mana,
and imbuement is 100% mana efficient. (Base increases by 1% for every level) Cost: 50 points.]

"Uhh what?" I stand there dumbfounded by a bunch of jargon I don't understand, but seems like I can just make any instrument I hold to be stronger, so it seems kinda good to prevent wear over time from use.

『You have 0 Special Abilities available for purchase.』

『You have 0 Exceptional Abilities available for purchase.』

  {Vessel} Abilities tab:

『You have 0 General Abilities available for purchase.』

『You have 1 Special Ability available for purchase.』

[Special Ability: "Super Baby(D)" You will be immune to disease for the first 5 years of your life! Cost:1500 points]

『You have 0 Exceptional Abilities available for purchase.』

Well I guess those are all abilities I can buy, seems like each of them is tied to an achievement, so I'll probably have to get more achievements when I reincarnate.

There is a [Reincarnator Menu] but when I tried to use it, it just said this: 『You cannot use this feature while under begginner's protection』

Anyways, now I have to figure out what abilities I want to buy, but there are far too many for me to afford even a fraction of them!

So, [Speed through textbooks(E)] is an obvious choice even if it is worth almost half my point total, ugh, I would hate to have to go to college again without some sort of advantage, considering my mediocre general knowledge...

And I'll also get [Reliable looking employee(F)] and [Joy in words(F)]

"Tool, purchase [Speed through textbooks(E)], [Reliable looking employee(F)] and [Joy in words(F)]."

『Request granted, you now have a total of 301 points』

And I know exactly what I wanna do with those points.

"Tool Spend 300 points in the intelligence stat"

I'm gonna be the next albert fucking einstein bitch!

『Request granted, you now have a total of 1 point』

Now that I'm done spending my points, what do I do? Reincarnate?

『Do you want to reincarnate now?』

"uhh.. yeah, sure."

『Initialising reincarnation, you can only be born into a world with a [System]. Beginner's protection lasts for 3 more lives. Beginner's protection allows you to only be born in {Easy} difficulty worlds.』

『Good luck, [Reincarnator]』

Wait, did the Tool say Worlds?

In case ya haven't picked up on it, James is not a gamer, nor a reader, so this whole experience may aswell be throwing him in a chamber of confusion.

I kinda got sick of main characters never being normal people in isekai stories, so here you go, you have James :)
