Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan were stunned. The crowd's jaws dropped. Ning Fengzhi was dumbstruck. Chen Xin felt a shiver run along his spine.
This was the power of an awakened domain. This was the power of only decade millennium and century millennium spirit rings. This was the power of a Spirit Sage. Ru Shenqi was a power among powers.
Duan Zheliang gritted out, "H- how?"
But of course, he couldn't hear any answer. Ru Shenqi suddenly recalled her domain. Once everyone regained their senses, she gave her explanation.
"My seventh ring came from a century millennium Jester Tarsier King. It had a domain ability that drained a person's senses. After I gained its ring, not only did my spirit avatar gain its protection ability, but my innate domain gained its skill."
People shuddered. Truly, century millennium spirit beasts were the best.
Catching the other team off guard, Ru Shenqi quickly called, "Thousand Heavens!"
This was a unique code word known only to the Shrek Seven Tyrants. They circled Ru Shenqi, and everyone launched their attribute boosting abilities. Fang Youyou's flower spun furiously as he suddenly revealed his second spirit ring. No one had seen his second spirit skill before. This was a sight to behold.
"Second spirit skill, Flowering Lotus Eternity!"
Six petals flew out. The one downfall of this spirit skill was that Fang Youyou could not use it on himself. Color returned to his teammates faces. They all stood straighter and looked as refreshed and ready as they had been at the beginning of the battle.
"AIYA!!!!! A SUPPORT SPIRIT SKILL THAT CAN FULLY HEAL SPIRIT MASTERS?!?!?!"
The Platinum Generation inwardly cursed. They had underestimated Shrek Academy.
"Youyou, we'll take it from here," Ru Shenqi said.
He nodded, having gone pale. As he stepped back, the other six stepped forward, changing formation.
Yu Xiaogang's eyebrows furrowed. Confusion was splat all over Flender's face. Liu Erlong turned to her lover.
"Xiaogang, what are they doing?"
"I don't know."
"Even I don't know," a voice echoed behind them. "This wasn't part of the original plan."
The Golden Iron Triangle turned around to see the Shrek Five Devils approaching.
"Xiao San, what do you think they're doing?"
"That, Dean Flender, I can't foresee."
Ning Rongrong added, "Xiao Shen is the best of this generation. Let's see what our Juniors have come up with."
Eight figures turned towards the courtyard to see odd pairings. Shu Jiaxiang and Liao Suyin were standing next to each other. Bai Shanxin and Gu Xingyun stood side-by-side. Ru Shenqi and Ming Yong made their own two-person group.
"The Godly Gong Shakes A Thousand Heavens," Ru Shenqi's voice rang out.
Soon, misty spirit power rose up around the three groups. Soon, three apparitions appeared.
Jaws dropped. Eyes widened. Gasps rose up. The Golden Generation stumbled backwards from shock. The Golden Iron Triangle gaped, dumbfounded. The Shrek Five Devils were stunned.
A five meter tall and three meter long, shadowy, tarantula apparition formed around Shu Jiaxiang and Liao Suyin. Their voices blended to say, "Shadow Jade Tarantula!"
A three meter tall and one meter long, golden feathered, needle-tailed swift apparition formed around Gu Xingyun and Bai Shanxin. Their voices blended to say, "Golden Heavenly Swift!"
A eight meter tall, crystalline, human apparition playing a crystal qin formed around Ru Shenqi and Ming Yong. Their voices blended to say, "Clear Crystal Dragon Qin!"
Hu Liena breathed in disbelief, "Three spirit fusion abilities. These children may have already surpassed Tang San and his group."
Indeed, the Shrek Six Tyrants had formed three spirit fusion abilities.
Yu Xiaogang, Flender, Liu Erlong, Tang San, Xiao Wu, Ma Hongjun, Oscar, and Ning Rongrong grinned.
One thought raced through all of their minds. Truly deserving of being called monsters. Truly worthy of Shrek.
"Shadow Jade Tarantula Eight Strikes!"

The Shadow Jade Tarantula shot forward at the Shadow Cheetah's speed. Its eight jade legs shot out, striking towards the seven members of Spirit Empire's Platinum Generation. The Golden Heavenly Swift flew forward at the Needle-Tailed Swift's speed. It let out a screech with a debilitating effect; this skill was the combination of Gu Xingyun's gravity increase skill and Bai Shanxin's debilitating screech skill. The Platinum Generation didn't stand a chance. They were restricted completely, basically frozen by the gravity increase skill. As the eight legs of the Shadow Jade Tarantula came closer, dread filled their hearts.
This is a slaughter!
Just then, the crystalline figure began to play the qin. A resounding melody drifted out. Seven pillars rose up around Mu Jingmu, Ye Zhuwei, Zuo Dongmei, Ruo Yingyue, Sun Tianzhao, Duan Zheliang, and Li Xiurong. A barrier spread from one pillar to the next, trapping them inside. The only way out... was up. And up wasn't an option due to the coordination from the Golden Heavenly Swift.
"AIYA!!!!!!! THIS IS TOO MUCH!!!! HOW CAN THERE BE THREE SPIRIT FUSION ABILITIES?!?!?!?! AND THEY'RE ALL SO TYRANNICAL!!!!"
Yu Xiaogang sighed, "Even I didn't see this possibility. It seems Xiao Shen studied them all to the highest extent. To be able to discover three spirit fusion abilities and figure out how to use them takes time."
"Xiaogang, when did the Shrek Seven Tyrants figure this out?"
He shook his head. "I don't know."
The eight legs hit their targets. A surge of poison combined from both Liao Suyin and Shu Jiaxiang numbed the Platinum Generation. They dropped to the ground, beginning to meditate, trying to dispel the toxins from their bodies. But the three spirit fusion abilities weren't done giving surprises.
"A Thousand Heavens Rules All!" seven voices blended as the three spirit fusion apparitions and a spinning Lotus came together. Swirls of spirit power surrounded them. When a ten meter tall and five meter long beast appeared, people fainted from shock.
This new apparition had a crystalline overlay with a slight rainbow hue, golden wings, four legs with sharp white claws, golden lion tail and cheetah ears. Striped around its midsection were seven white lines, resembling Ming Yong's seven strings.
This strange beast was a combination of all Shrek Seven Tyrants. This had gone beyond the spirit ability fusion skill that Tang San and his friends had used in the Finals Round in the past. This was a true Seven-In-One spirit fusion ability.
"Shrek Tyrants Seven-In-One!"
A combination of their strongest spirit skills launched. Horror filled the eyes of the Platinum Generation.
"If we as Spirit Elders, Spirit Ancestor, and a Spirit King could defeat an entire Spirit King team, then how can we not defeat you as a Spirit King and Spirit Saint team?"
Yu Xiaogang thought back to the Barbarian Team. "These little tyrants... they are destined for greatness."
Their full combined attack hit. The Platinum Generation were not only knocked unconscious, but also thrown far back, hitting into the wall of the Supreme Pontiff Palace.
The Golden Generation spun around and leapt up. They collected their students and glared at the Shrek Seven Tyrants who had recalled their Seven-In-One fusion ability.
Xie Yue gritted out, bitterly, "Shrek Academy wins."
Wicked grins spread across the faces of all Seven Tyrants. They were a power among powers. The Golden Generation leapt down and walked towards them. Hu Liena revealed the grand prize: the three spirit bones.
"As promised, your rewards."
Flender, Yu Xiaogang, and Liu Erlong suddenly appeared behind their students. Ru Shenqi stepped forward and took the three spirit bones from Hu Liena.
"Grandmaster, who do these suit?"
"The chest bone, Scaled Body Armor, would suit Youyou. As an auxiliary system, having a spirit bone that can protect you is a good thing."
Ru Shenqi handed the golden chest bone to Fang Youyou. He nodded to her and took it.
"The Mental Immunity Skull Bone would suit Yong. As a Spirit System spirit master, being able to deflect as well as attack mentally, is a good thing."
Ru Shenqi turned over the light purple and silver skull bone to Ming Yong. He took it carefully and held it in his hands.
"The Six Purple Light Wings external spirit bone would best suit Jiaxiang. Her speed is still slightly inferior to Shanxin's. These wings can convert spirit power to speed, which will give an Agility System spirit master great benefits. It also can allow her to fly, which is another benefit to speed."
Ru Shenqi handed the purple external spirit bone to Shu Jiaxiang. She took it without a word.
"Congratulations, Shrek Academy," Hu Liena said in a monotone. "Once again, Shrek stands as the champions of the Advanced Spirit Master Grand Competition."
Mom, Dad, today I hope I've made you proud. I showed Spirit Empire a lesson, Ru Shenqi thought.
The Golden Generation turned around and left. As the spectators began to dwindle, the Shrek Seven Tyrants said a tearful goodbye.
"In five years, we will see each other again," they promised.
"Jiaxiang and I will continue to grow stronger," Liao Suyin said. "We will fight in Suotuo City's Spirit Arena. We will cultivate each night. We will not slack off."
"I'm going home. Perhaps fighting my brothers will let me grow stronger. But I will also cultivate and fight hard to grow stronger," Gu Xingyun vowed.
"Xiao Shen and I will probably train together a lot in Tang Sect," Bai Shanxin added. "We will not fall behind either."
"I'm going to help research Auxiliary Systems in Heaven Dou Imperial Academy, perhaps we can still see each other in the next years," Fang Youyou said to Ru Shenqi, Bai Shanxin, and Ming Yong.

All three sides ended together with, "It's time to go."
Gu Xingyun nodded and departed with Xing Luo's group. Fang Youyou walked away with Heaven Dou's group. Bai Shanxin and Ru Shenqi left with the Shrek Five Devils. The Golden Iron Triangle sighed and led the others away with them, departing from Spirit City.
