Ru Shenqi recalled her domain. A happy smirk spread across her lips.
"Ninety first ranked, I like that," she murmured to no one in particular. But the Titled Douluos, just as they were recovering their senses, heard her words.
A nineteen year old Titled Douluo was unheard of.
She let her Ultimate Darkness Wings unfurl from her back. Understanding her, Bai Shanxin and Shu Jiaxiang spread their own wings. Liao Suyin's Demon Eyed Tarantula right leg bone emerged. Five of Ming Yong's strings wrapped around the Five Terrors who called out to Cang Huaban, Bing Dadao, and Qing Qiangda. They all retreated to the battlements of Vast Sea City.
Suddenly Peacock Douluo fluttered his eye-like feathers. Ru Shenqi knew it was a domain immediately. She launched her seventh spirit skill, protecting herself from all physical and mental attacks.
"Eighth spirit skill," she began as her fourth red ring lit up. The Titled Douluos' eyes widened. "Clear Crystal Celestial!"
Suddenly, Gu Xingyun, Fang Youyou, Shu Jiaxiang, Bai Shanxin, Liao Suyin, Bing Dadao, Cang Huaban, Qing Qiangda, Li Zhonghe, and Bo Xuanqi gained immunity to all domains and illusion-type spirit skills. Ming Yong's skull bone, which had once been Bibi Dong's, gave him mental immunity to illusions and charms.
Once most of them were protected, Ru Shenqi smirked. "Peacock Douluo, this is the tyranny of my eighth spirit skill. We can see through your domain and break it!"
To prove her point, everyone who was safe launched their strongest attacks, hailing spirit skills down upon the three Titled Douluos. When the blitz ended and the domain was broken, Ru Shenqi launched herself into the air. Her silver-white eyes blazed with slaughter intent.
Her diadem glowed brightly as she called out, "DIVINE PEARL SEA ASSAULT!"
The waves on the coast began to slosh. The skies turned dark, and lightning lit up the charcoal grey clouds. Sea water gushed up over the land as pain began to pelt down. The Titled Douluos ignored the ones on the battlements and raced to grab the still-unconscious Platinum Generation. But Ru Shenqi wouldn't let them.
"Divine Pearl Sea Life!"
The Shrek Seven Tyrants all felt their fatigue leave them. They entered a hyper-powered state and gained a hundred percent boost on their attack power. They surged down and stood in one line in between the Platinum Generation and the three Titled Douluos.
"Storm Douluo, Peacock Douluo, Gilded Umbrella Douluo, the Platinum Generation won't be leaving just yet," Ru Shenqi said coldly.
Getting her meaning, Gu Xingyun's voice blended with her to say, "Death God Domain, Evolved Skill: Demon Hell!"
Ice snaked out from them, covering the ground at an astonishing rate. They trapped the three Titled Douluos momentarily.
"Youyou."
"Third spirit skill, Flowering Lotus Regrowth!"
After giving everyone a seventy five percent return on their spirit power, he also gave them a twenty percent strength boost.
Ru Shenqi's eyes narrowed. The Shrek Seven Tyrants surrounded the Platinum Generation.
"Shanxin."
Her skull bone emerged as she said, "Emerald Demon Bird skull bone skill, Emerald Demon Devour!"
She drained Duan Zheliang, Sun Tianzhao, Ruo Yingyue, Li Xiurong, Mu Jingmu, Ye Zhuwei, and Zuo Dongmei of their spirit power, leaving them completely devoid of any way to counterattack should they have, for some reason, woken up.
"Xingyun."
"King Tiger left arm bone skill, King Tiger Halberd!"
He threw the halberd towards the center of the Platinum Generation. It sent their bodies flying backwards.
"Shanxin."
"Sixth spirit skill, Swift Winds!"
A tornado grew and carried them over to the ocean.
Let's see how well those from Spirit Empire can swim.
"Storm Douluo, this is my payback to you. You killed my parents on the ocean. Well, let me kill Spirit Empire's Platinum Generation the same way."
"XIAO NUHUANG!!!" Lei Jiyu raged. "THE SUPREME PONTIFF WILL END YOU FOR THIS!!!"
She laughed manically. "Let's see if Hu Liena can."
The tornado dropped the seven off into the raging waters. As the three Titled Douluos moved to get them, Ru Shenqi chuckled, "Divine Pearl Sea Gate!"
A tsunami barrier rose up, separating the two groups from Spirit Empire. The Titled Douluos turned to glare at her. She watched as three ninth level spirit skills launched. Launching her third spirit skill, she protected her friends before commanding them to leave. The other six returned to the battlements, where they were safe, and watched worriedly.
Li Zhonghe stepped forward and asked them, "What is Xiao Shen doing? Isn't she going to get herself killed?"
Gu Xingyun sighed. "She's disobeying Grandmaster again."
Bai Shanxin cried, "Sect Leader will never let her out of Tang Sect if she reveals herself now!"
Fang Youyou added, "We have to stop her!"
Ming Yong scoffed. "She's a rank ninety one Titled Douluo. What can we do against her now? Xiao Shen has surpassed us all a long time ago. Plus, this is her pain and her revenge. We shouldn't stop her."
"How can you say that?" Gu Xingyun argued.
Ming Yong met his eye and replied calmly, "Just as you are destined to rule Guang Kingdom, Xiao Shen is destined to rule Haishen Island. If she cannot prove herself now, how will she hold up later?"
Just then, everyone heard a pained scream. Gu Xingyun whipped around and watched in horror as the spirit power seal around Ru Shenqi broke. Again.
But this time, she had full control. Her silver-white eyes glared at Lei Jiyu, who was gaping.
"Impossible..." he breathed. "Ru Zuanshi?"
Ru Shenqi shook her head. "I'm not Ru Zuanshi. I'm not Xiao Nuhuang either. I am your end!!! NINE STARS METEOR SHOWER!"
An annihilation. That was what this was.
A meteor of nine-pointed stars shot down, exploding all around the three Titled Douluos. They were thrown back and spat blood.
"THIRTY SIX STAR PRISON!"
An array of thirty six stars appeared. Ru Shenqi knew she only had one minute. One minute to avenge her parents.
She held out her hand towards them, pointing. The spinning array built up speed. "Prison Break."
The stars shot apart and merged to make three large ones. They locked down on the three Titled Douluos. Of course, against a Goddess, what Titled Douluo could win?
Ru Shenqi watched as her stars cut the Peacock and Gilded Umbrella Douluos in half, killing them immediately. And Lei Jiyu? He ran as fast as he could, but her star wouldn't leave him. It spun towards him faster and faster until he screamed.
Satisfaction spread across her smile. Mom, Dad, I've finally done it. I hope you can rest easy now.
The Shrek Six Tyrants stood dumbfounded. Bing Dadao, Cang Huaban, and Qing Qiangda sighed. The Five Terrors were terrified.
All by her lonesome, Ru Shenqi had defeated and killed three Titled Douluos from Spirit Empire. And made it look easy to do!
Gliding over to their remains, she murmured, "I am Ru Shenqi, daughter of Ru Zuanshi. And I will destroy the rest of Spirit Empire like I destroyed you three."
Turning, she flew back to her friends.
"Xiao Shen," they greeted.
"We should head back," she suggested.
They nodded.
Shu Jiaxiang murmured, "Our time's running out."
Ming Yong sighed, "We need to finish our missions and then go help the Heaven Dou Army."
Bai Shanxin added, "I'm sure Sect Leader wants Tang's Army as a reserve, just like at Jialing Pass."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Gu Xingyun asked. "Let's go!"
They bid quick goodbyes to everyone before rushing towards the ocean. Ru Shenqi flew up and released her Fire Dragon Domain. Ultimate Darkness Straight Line hit right into the water, summoning Xiao Bai and her clan. The Shrek Seven Tyrants leapt up and landed on the sharks' backs.
From the battlements, realization dawned on the three adults. "Ohh, so that's where they've been."
Li Zhonghe asked, "Headmaster Bing, Teacher Cang, Elder Qing, what do you mean?"
Cang Huaban smiled. "They went to take the Sea God's Challenges on Haishen Island. That's how they're already Titled Douluo and Spirit Douluo so young. It also explains the marks on their foreheads. If the weakest of them still managed to receive Black Level Six Tests, then the Sea God has determined their potential to be high. And they have two Peak Level Seven tests, which is rarely seen. The last group to have had two Peak Level Seven tests were their Seniors, the Shrek Seven Devils."
"Eh, what?!" the Five Terrors couldn't believe what they were hearing. The Land Spirit Masters were taking the Sea God's Challenges?!

"I saw everything," Xiao Bai said on their way back. "You seven have perfect teamwork and a very special connection, much like Lord Sea God and his friends. It's no wonder he sent you Juniors to Haishen Island."

A day later, they finally returned to Haishen Island. The Shrek Seven Tyrants leapt off of the sharks' back and landed on the soft sand. They turned around to wave goodbye to Xiao Bai and her clan before heading in to Sea Witch City.
Back in the mansion, they sat down in the common area. Fang Youyou was the first to raise the question that was on everyone's minds.
"What's our Fifth Trial?"
Each of them closed their eyes and checked their next screen. When they opened their eyes, they spoke one-by-one.
Shu Jiaxiang said, "I have to fight the Seahorse Douluo."
Fang Youyou said, "I have to fight the Sea Witch Douluo."
Bai Shanxin said, "I have to fight the Sea Ghost Douluo."
Ming Yong said, "I have to fight the Sea Fantasy Douluo."
Liao Suyin said, "I have to fight the Sea Spear Douluo."
Gu Xingyun said, "I have to fight the... Sea Dragon Douluo."
Ru Shenqi bit her lip. Everyone watched her curiously. "Xiao Shen?"
"I have to challenge the Top Three Sea Douluo."
Their eyes widened. Gu Xingyun frowned. "Why are our tests different again? We're the same Peak Level Seven Trial Takers."
She shook her head. "I don't know."
Just then, Sea Witch Douluo appeared. She smiled and explained, "For your Fifth Trial, it tests your individual skill. Each of you have been given a Sacred Pillar Guardian to challenge. We cannot use the power of the Pillar, only our own. And after seeing you seven defeat that regiment from Spirit Empire, the other Douluos and I are starting to grow worried, hahaha! Anyways, as for you, Xiao Shen... the sea is in your blood. Your tests are diverging from his because you are no longer being tested as a Land Spirit Master, but an Ocean Spirit Master. Since you excelled and surpassed expectations in your Fourth Trial, your Fifth has become harder. You're truly destined to inherit the position of Head Flamen of Haishen Island, just like your mother's cousin, Bo Saixi."
Ru Shenqi gaped at her. "Jiejie, you can't be serious?"
"Oh, but I am. You, Ru Shenqi, are now being tested as an Ocean Spirit Master."
