Keira didn’t expect that she would be discharged so soon after only being awake for less than a day in the hospital. She thought that Ezekiel would have this hospital play last for about a week, but she had underestimated the male lead as Ezekiel continued on saying.

“We’re going home today Keira.”

‘He was planning on directly bringing me to his home after all! His smile couldn’t even get any brighter than this. He looks like a boy who obtained what he had wanted for Christmas.’

If Ezekiel were to hear Keira’s thoughts, he would immediately tell her that it’s more than the happiness of a boy who got what he wanted for Christmas. It was an indescribable happiness that could only be felt once the person you longed for in multiple lifetimes finally appeared in your arms.

Ezekiel gently grabbed Keira’s head closer to his, and he lightly kissed Keira’s forehead, full of contentment.

Keira’s body remained stunned but her heart was beating out of her chest. She was internally shaking inside because… ‘This was exactly what Leal said and did to her before when she got hospitalized and she got discharged.’

Keira glanced up the male lead who was still smiling, and thought to herself.

‘Who are you?’

Keira was wearing new clothes provided by Ezekiel and it was exactly the same size and the type of clothes that matched her taste. Ezekiel led her to the back entrance of the hospital where a black car was already waiting for them to arrive.

The driver got out of the car. He greeted Ezekiel and Ezekiel only gave a light nod before he stopped the driver from opening the car for them. Ezekiel opened the car door himself and directed Keira with his eyes to enter.

Keira couldn’t help but get nervous for some reason. She felt like she was finally stepping into the male lead’s territory with no way out. But of course, even if there was no way out, Keira would just ‘break’ herself out and create an exit for herself.

Keira went in the car and Ezekiel followed suit. The car door shuts and the car engine started. Keira only stared at the window, not even bothering to start a conversation with Ezekiel or ask any questions about the predicament she was in. She could feel Ezekiel’s gaze burning the back of her head but she paid it no heed, only watching as the sceneries change outside; from a bustling city filled with tall buildings and people to a desolate place only filled with endless trees and plants.

The road was slowly moving upward. Keira could only assume that the place Ezekiel was taking her must be a mountain villa. She tried to remember the road for her future escape plan but gave up halfway after 25 minutes. Her system also told her that she would be able to guide her if she were to escape from this place in the future, so Keira placed her trust in her system, and just let her mind wander during the ride.

The car ride finally ended after quite some time. When Keira got out of the car, she was met with a gorgeous villa. The villa didn’t appear to have a second floor but the space that the house itself covered was huge. The front of the villa was only surrounded by trees and didn’t seem to have anything noteworthy.

Ezekiel approached Keira and held out his hand. Keira took Ezekiel’s hand without giving it much thought. Ezekiel breaks out a stunning smile before squeezing Keira’s hand tighter. Ezekiel led Keira by the hand to the entrance of the villa.

He said while taking out a keycard from his pocket, “I know that this house isn’t the same as before, but I made sure to have it designed exactly the way you like it.”

Having her curiosity piqued, Keira asked, “What… happened to the old house?”

The corners of Ezekiel’s lips rose but his eyes weren’t smiling, “That house has been stained by something ‘filthy’.”

His smile reminded Keira of a certain someone in the last world and this sent shivers down her spine.

Ezekiel stroke Keira’s cheeks, “Nonetheless, I didn’t sell the house as it still contained the memories we shared in the past.”

Keira only continued to peer into his eyes and Ezekiel was the one to break the rising tension.

He let out a light chuckle and said, “Let’s go inside. Here, we can create new ‘fond’ memories together.”

Ezekiel felt elated by Keira’s question because she didn’t question why she was brought here or give Ezekiel a look of disgust. This means, that Keira didn’t deny their shared memories.

Keira’s only reason why she didn’t deny what Ezekiel has previously said was due to the fact that the male lead deems it to be true. So even if she tries to deny it, accuse him of being crazy, and push him away, this would only worsen Ezekiel’s attitude. He might be smiling right now, but you could really never tell what’s running through a crazy person’s head, noting the fact that he has completely blackened.

When they entered the house, Keira was greeted by a homely interior. The living room was spacious enough to move around and they weren’t any other unnecessary things that rich people have in their houses. It was simple yet homey, just as Keira wanted her house to be.

But what really draw her attention, was the huge window panes that showcased a breathtaking view of the mountains. Keira has always been a mountainside person than a seaside person. She loved the view of the beautiful green hills than the moon reflecting the sea.

Other parts of the house were still beautiful. Albeit, one concerning thing was that there was only one bedroom in the entire huge villa. The bedroom even has a gorgeous view of the mountains outside. One guest room could not even be found throughout the house, whilst there was a library, a theater room, and even a gaming room. This was the best house to confine a person like Keira.

What she didn’t realize though, is that the villa was literally built to lock a person and that person was her.

Keira peered at Ezekiel and asked, “So, where are you sleeping?”
