"Only that much progress," Yuno replied with a dissatisfied tone, stating clearly that he is not happy with his growth.

Hestia looks at Yuno with a speechless expression.

"..sigh…Yuno, do you know the process you achieve takes another adventurer weeks or even months to achieve? "Hestia said this as she tried to drill some common sense into him.

"Seriously, that long?" Yuno asked with a doubtful expression.

"Yes," Hestia replies, seriously, while nodding her head.

Hearing this, Yuno thought for a while and then replied with a smile, "Well, this is a good thing anyway, since I can help you faster to make your familia number 1 as I promise."

Hestia's eyes became moist as she remembered the moments when she was still trying to recruit members of her familia but nobody joined her familia.

 She jumped on him as she hugged him and rubbed her cheeks against his cheeks while she said, "Yuno-kun, you are too good for me."

'Soft', that thought comes into his mind as soon as she hugs him and her boobs press against his shoulders while she rubs her cheeks with her cheeks.

He was confused why she suddenly hugged him, but seeing her happy expression, he decided to let himself be hugged without saying anything.

After a while, Hestia separated herself from Yuno and then she said, "I told you before, didn't I? It's our familia, not mine alone."

"Oh yeah, I forgot," Yuno said while scratching his head in embarrassment.

Hestia chuckled at his embarrassed face.

*stiff* *stiff*

"What's with the smell?" Yuno-kun, are you making something delicious again? " Hestia smelled the aroma that was coming from the kitchen and asked this with a sparkle in her eyes as she remembered the taste of the last dish he made in the morning.

Yuno, hearing her excited tone, couldn't help but feel happy seeing she liked his cooking as he revealed a smile while he replied, "Yes, I just want to make something for dinner, but there are not many ingredients in the kitchen, so I will make something light for now."

"Sorry about that. Because of the debt I got on myself, I can't afford many things," Hestia said in an apologetic tone as she lowered her head.

"Don't worry Hestia-sama, I am sure we will be able to pay off your debt real soon now," Yuno said, patting her back as he spoke.

Since Yuno earned nearly 1.7 million valis, he thinks that it will not be a problem to pay her Goddess debt.

"Thank you, Yuno-kun, but you don't have to worry about it. I will pay my debt since it's my responsibility," Hestia said while looking up at him and giving a smile.

"Hestia-sama, since you declare me as part of your familia, then it's also my responsibility to help my family too," Yuno said with a determined expression.

Hestia feels warm from his words as she looks at him, who is looking at her with a stubborn expression and a soft gaze.

"By how much is your debt anyway?" Yuno asked this as he still didn't know the exact amount of her debt.

{ A/N- I am adding the amount on my own since it has not been mentioned how much she owns to her best friend Hephaestus, and it has only been mentioned that after begging her to make Hestia blade for Bell, her debt increased to 200 million.

I am not even sure if before that she even had debt, but if she had no debt, please treat this as some kind of butterfly effect made by me }

Hestia, hearing his question, lowered her head and spoke in a low tone, "2 million."

"What?" Yuno asked this as even though he was able to hear her due to his highly sensitive hearing, he wanted to confirm if he heard it right.

"2 million valis!" Hestia said, in a louder voice this time.

"2 million!?" Yuno exclaimed, even though he earned 1.7 million in one day, but he knew that because he was lucky enough on his first trip to be able to find a jack bird whose drop item alone was worth 1 million, he knew that he would not always be that lucky.

"How!?" That is the first question that comes to his mind. After all, 2 million is not a small amount. A normal family of four people can live their entire lives without any worries with that kind of amount.

Hestia just looked down without replaying anything.

"Did you get caught in some kind of scam?" Yuno asked as he remembered in his past life when naive people were usually caught in this kind of trap without knowing it and paid for it by working for their entire lives.

"No no no no, it was my fault, not her's." Hestia quickly shook her head and said

Yuno gave her a suspicious look for a while and then asked, "Can you tell me the whole story?" Since he can't come to any conclusion before knowing the full story,

Hestia hesitated for a while, but after a minute she finally replied, "..sigh... fine, I will tell you."

"Back when I was just descending to the Lower World to achieve my dream of making my familia, I was taken care of by my best friend, but after living in her care, I became kind of lazy and didn't recruit anyone."

"After freeloading on her for 3 years, she kicked me out with a debt of 2 million and told me to work myself to make my familia with my effort and let me live here."

"But whenever I tried to recruit anyone, they refused me instantly because of the debt I had." Hestia completes her story while she lowers her head.

Hearing her whole story, he gave Hestia an unbelievable look and said, "So, in simple terms, you got yourself lazy and spent your friend's money for 3 years."

For some reason, Yuno felt that he had lost some respect for her after hearing her reason for debt.

"Don't give me that look. I know I was wrong before, but I have changed myself now. You know?" Hestia said, with a red face, trying to hide her face with her hands.

"..sigh…"Yono exhaled a tired sigh as he said this.

*growling*

Suddenly, a sound comes from Hestia's stomach while her face is full of red because of the embarrassment as she tries to bury her head in the pillow.

Yuno just smiles helplessly and says, "Let's continue this conversation after eating" while he gets up and starts walking toward the kitchen to bring the dishes he prepared earlier.

Hestia also nodded her head as she saw Yuno going to the kitchen.

During their meal, Hestia praises Yuno for cooking after taking every single bite.

After they finished their meal, they both sat on the couch.

"Who's your friend?" Yuno asked this as he was interested in knowing the person who was willing to let her friend spend her money and also let her live at her place without any worries for 3 consecutive years.

"Her name is Hephaestus," Hestia said as she tried to relax after eating such delicious food.

"Hephaestus," Yono murmured her name in a low voice as he suddenly remembered something which caused him to shout in surprise, "Hephaestus!!??!!"

"Do you mean that Hephaestus-sama!?! Do you mean the legendary goddess of Smithing!?!" Yuno exclaimed loudly, since he had heard this name many times from his adopted grandfather throughout his life.

His grandfather has always been a big fan of Hephaestus. He always told him that no matter what tool or weapon he forged with his best efforts, it couldn't be compared even to the worst thing she forged.

"Do you know her?" Hestia asked this in surprise since she knew that he came from a very remote village and had zero knowledge of 

general knowledge about the outside world.

"Yes, of course, she was my grandfather's role model." He also talked about how her creations are the best in the entire world with no one to compare with, "Yuno said, excitedly recalling all the things his grandfather told him about Hephaestus.

Since he studied smithing under his grandfather, he understands the satisfaction of creating anything with his own hands, so he also has a lot of respect for the goddess of smithing, which his grandfather talks about.

Out of many things his grandfather told him about her, the most amazing thing he found was that the goddess of Smithing can give life to any tool or weapon she creates if she wants to.

Seeing that the child who should be worshipping her is praising another goddess in front of her, she couldn't help but feel jealous as she angrily pouted and said, "You know, I am more amazing than you should praise me too."

Yuno stops talking after hearing Hestia's voice, which is full of jealousy.
