Today only two small casual chapters. I feel a bit tired after yesterdays writing marathon.

Weary adventurers sat in the carts driven by horses that slowly moved toward the Greenville town. Even though they moved for quite some time now, no monsters came to harass them, only showing how many of them died that night.

/I guess the hunt will be quite shitty for some time. I should take a rest for some time. I am going to be paid a hefty sum anyway./

*System would remind user, that it is almost time to pay for your inn stay if you would like to prolong your stay in this town."

/Huh? Wait. Now that you mention, I rented a room for a week. I can't believe less than a week has passed from my awakening of the system and coming to this town. I've been through so much it felt like a month./

*Your days seem really rich in events.* Said system with some thinking voice.

/What is it? There is always a reason for you to be all pondering./

*There is not much information to share a hypothesis yet. I would not wish to fill your brain with worries if the suspicions are a mere nonsense in the end.*

/I see. You are analyzing a lot of things all the time. Damn I feel lucky to have such a smart system. However there is something that worries me./

*What worries, you if I may ask.*

/System, why is there not a single skill that is specifically made for attacking. I feel that I really lack in my fighting abilities?/ Asked Noah.

*It is as you may have suspected, a user. We are not fighters it seems.*

/Damn./

*However, this is not a reason for disappointment. System skills are only a part of strength. Many others compensate for their lack of skills with their own abilities. Users may try learning martial arts. Luckily we have access to a library full of useful information. I may be able to compile a very profound martial style that would help you a lot.*

/You are right. Systems are just a part of people's capability. There are still other ways to get strong. Guess I should put more time into training from now on./

*I also think we may start leveling up. It seems we have delayed your evolution enough for your brain to get used to some of the disturbing things that may come out of the CS.*

/Alright. Let's try another level up when we get to town./ Said Noah watching the forest that they were living behind when they closed Greenville town.

"So Edd, what happened? Tell us man. How' d y'all survived there?" Asked some of the D-rank adventurers walking near one of the carriages moving back to Greenville.

"I told you a lot. We fought like mad till the guy over there was busy making antidote for us. Then we all jumped into the poison and waited for those fuckes to die when they ran after us."

"Damn, you are no fun, Edd." Said adventurer while other guys nodded.

"Why are you all reserved? I always like to hear your stories after your mission. You're like the best storyteller in town, man. And this is definitely a story all would like to hear."

"Kid, the only thing you should know, that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, you understand? Now stop bothering me. I am too tired for story tellings."

"Tsk, what's with him?" Asked the guys.

"Don't bother him guys. He must be in a bad mood after losing so many companions. Let's ask him later." Said the other adventurer, making everyone nod.

"Honey…" Said Margaret silently sitting near her husband in the carriage.

"What is it, dear?" Asked Nolan

"I am sorry." She said with a reserved tone not daring to look him straight in the eyes.

"For what, dear." Asked Nolan, taking her hand gently into his hands.

"There in fog…I think…I think I kissed a few men there confusing them with you."

"Margaret…" said Nolan, squeezing her hand a bit tighter. "It wasn't your fault. Besides….I think I kissed more men there than you." He said scratching his cheek.

"God. Let's forget it alright?" Said Margaret with a smile.

"Agree."

"Rey. Mnnn so goo…GHT" Moaned Keena and then jumped up from a kick to her side ruined her good dream.

"Wake up, lewd cat. We're almost there." Said Margaret standing over Keena.

"There? Where? Rey? Where is Rey?"

"Their team was in no shape to travel yet, so they sayed back."

"When are they getting back?"

"Who knows? A month maybe." Lied Margaret with annoyance.

"Nooool! My honeymoon!" Screamed Keena in despair.

"What's with Keena?" Asked one of the guys walking not far ago.

"I heard she finally got her hands on Rey."

"As expected of the best ranger eh? Hit him when he expected it the least."

"Yeah, all she needed was a stampede to do that." Laughed adventurers

"This is the best you could find for us?" Asked woman sitting on the bed in a well furnished inn room with an annoyance.

"This is one of their best middle class inns." Answered another woman. "We can't go to the high class inns, it will bring too much attention."

"Damn shit hole. You heard what happened in one of the villages?"

"Yeah. It may be a good starting point to investigate."

"Doubt it. But you should keep an eye on it anyway. I'll start from other places. This way we can cover more places to investigate. The faster we get to the bottom of that event the sooner we get the hell out of this trash place."

"I heard B-rank team just got back. They should be going to report to guild manager now. I will go see if I can learn something interesting there." Said the woman and started disappearing in shadows of the room.

"Alright. Time to get going too." Said the annoyed woman and started to disperse in shadows too, leaving the room in total silence.
