[Hostess of Fertility]

To celebrate his joining the new familia, Moby, Hestia and Bell went to the hostess of fertility. They got a booth and ordered 3000 Valis worth of food.

It was fun, especially when the Loki familial left, something he waited to happen, so they could celebrate in peace.

“Cheers!” They clanged their mugs and drank, “huh, that’s the good stuff, Mia you’re the best!” Hestia raised her mug to Mia’s name, smiling from ear to ear.

“I haven’t seen so much food in front of me, and we’re going to be eating all of it!” Bell drooled, grabbing a stick of meat.

Moby smiled his mood brightening, “Aw Bell who’s your new friend aren’t you going to introduce me?” one maid walked over and Moby almost choked on his noodles seeing her, Syr, bluish-grey hair tied in a ponytail style and silver eyes the other half of Freya.

‘Oh great,’ he thought as she placed a plate of steaks and noodles, “compliments from Mama Mia, she’s happy you have a new member now,” her lips curled, eyeing Moby.

Bell turned to her, “Yuu know him?” his mouth was stuffed with food as he talked.

“Bell, It’s rude to talk with your mouth full!” Hestia moaned using the opportunity to clean his face as he swallowed, “Syr this is Moby he just joined us earlier, he’s so cool, and he has this amazing sm!”

“Seriously!?” Moby had to leap over the table to shut his damn mouth, “that’s enough Bell, she knows my name now.”

“Hi Moby.” She gave her hand, asking for a nice shake, and the man in response shivered before shaking with a forced smile.

‘I have a weird feeling I’m being watched,’ he thought while Hestia, watching the interaction, smiled before she also felt eyes on the table.

-Bam!

“Stop watching us, you skank!” She slammed the table, her voice drawing everyone’s attention towards them, before acting as if nothing happened.

“G-goddess are you alright?” Bell whispered to her. She humphed and pulled him close, “so long as you’re here everything is fine.”

‘I’m feeling like a third wheel.’ he couldn’t help but sigh at the sight of Hestia and Syr having a feud war over Bell. ‘I need a drink.’

Moby left them and went to the Bar, arriving he sat and called a waitress, “hi what drinks do you have here?”

“What can I get you?” the one that walked up to him caused him to lose his breath. For a while, he didn’t know he was staring, “excuse me?”

“Hm? Ah, right, do you have any ale? My name’s Moby. Nice to meet you.” He coughed, avoiding eye contact.

‘Moby? That’s an interesting name,’ she nodded moving back, “I’m curious,” she said filling a mug, “what made you join that familia, I heard about you before I’m sure any other larger familiar would’ve accepted you.”

Moby grabbed the mug, looking down at his reflection. “I guess you could say Destiny?”

He chuckled. Taking a sip, Ryuu looked at him oddly. “Destiny?”

“Maybe? He approached me with this sudden weight of joining his familia but I never answered and yet he was brimming acting as if I already was, so I agreed, what felt like a burden pushing me down, could’ve been the world saying join them, I didn’t think to become a member of their familia I already was when I met Bell he didn’t hesitate or ask questions which is reckless but it is what it is.”

“What an odd way to put it to words,” she mused with a chuckle.

“Cough I do not know what you mean by that,” he chugged the mug and let out a small burp, “I never got your name,” he asked.

“... Ryuu,” she took a while before answering.

“Ryuu? What a wonderful name,” he raised his mug slightly before finishing it, “Ah, I enjoyed our chat. Perhaps we could talk some more the next time I stop by,” he smiled, paying for the drink.

Ryuu said nothing for a moment, scrutinizing him. “I work every day.”

“Oh, to-“ he was about to say too bad but she cut him off.

“But you can if you order something.” She grabbed the mug and turned around, her back facing him.

‘Mama Mia,’ He assumed it was how she instructed them to milk more money out of people, but he wasn’t against that, “then I’ll see you soon.”

‘... hm...’ she said nothing, watching him leave the Bell and Hestia, who were waiting for him and leave the establishment.

On the way back, the trio talked and made light plans for the week ahead, eventually making it back in chipper moods. All that remained now was to sleep and rest peacefully. However, there was one issue.

Hestia refusing to sleep without Bell and Bell refusing to let Moby sleep on the couch eventually led them to sleep on the one bed, small with him in the centre.

It wasn’t bad. Sleeping together was comforting to Moby, but then the morning rays hit his face and he woke up to a pleasant feeling of something weighing on him and two things pushing down.

‘What is this? It feels familiar...’ his eyes fluttered and looked seeing Bell was up already fully dressed. “Ahn, hey Bell,” fully awake, he felt Hestia on top, holding him close.

“Hehe yeah Goddess loves to do that,” the boy chuckled, rubbing his head.

Moby gave a wry smile and gently shook her, “mn~ no Bell, more,” she moaned, pushing herself against him more, which was bad considering the normal reaction any man would have.

“I’d love to but Bells over there,” he chuckled, seeing her eyes flutter meeting his, “Eh? Moby?” immediately her face flushed, and she buried herself under the covers.

“Yeah,” he chuckled, slipping out, “thanks for the snuggle goddess.” he got up and stretched himself.

Hestia mumbled something about stupid and Bell and to him what he had done was a mystery he wasn’t dry-humped by a horny goddess.

“Alright, did you bring the things?” Moby asked as they walked outside. Hestia followed.

“Un I woke super early and bought everything!” he flashed a grin brimming with energy.

Moby shrugged. The money wouldn’t be an issue, as he saw the materials Bell bought were mostly planks. He asked him to bring any stones he could, big or small, making another large pile.

“Stand back, you two,” he grinned, clapping his hands together.

-Shua!

A massive current of electricity burst forth covering the material, and the church all other them merged and ground into the building, destroying tiles and walls and rebuilding them with the same material and the added extra.

Hestia was at a loss seeing the church gifted to her being rebuilt anew. A minute goes by and Moby was done. Hestia, seeing his slightly winded face, was worried about his health, but he seemed fine.

‘Reconstructing, adding and existing parts is easier than trying to create something new,’ he got up, patting himself and breathing, “phew.”

Bell was ear to ear seeing their new home rebuilt. “Moby, you’re amazing!” He ran and opened the doors gasping, “the floor is new!” He kept running, “we have a second floor!”

“Are you okay?” Hestia came to Moby, who smiled at her, trying to comfort him.

“Yeah, there are four rooms above, so we can each get our own and don’t have to sleep in the basement.” " We could use that as a storage room of sorts.’

“Thank you,” Hestia whispered. She felt like there was more hope for her and Bell to grow. The upgraded church isn’t what made her grateful. It was his choice to join them.

“Bell come on. We have to go! Ah, we don’t have any furniture so-“

Hestia blocked him already, thinking ahead, “I can get what we need. You should both head out now and thank you for joining us Moby,” she gave a cute close-eye smile, making him tint slightly.

[Dungeon of Babel] [3rd floor]

Slashing the monsters with his glaive was no longer an issue. The blade was much sharper, although it gained some weight. He used it to his advantage and Bell was effective in dealing with the enemies from behind.

-Shunk!

After slashing another kobold in half, both sat somewhere safe for a quick break.

“I think we can go down to the seventh floor today,” Bell said excitedly.

Moby had the same thoughts. But first, “hang on a moment,” he said, taking out some ink and quill.

“What are you doing?”

“Just wait.” He brought his glove over and started drawing what to Bell looked like some weird circles and shapes. The only thing he could make sense of was the flame symbol at the end.

To any decent alchemist’s mind, this circle was obvious. The only issue was his gloves when he snapped his fingers. Nothing happened.

“Alright, let’s go.” They got up and headed down to the fourth floor, where they met a group of goblins and kobolds together.

He couldn’t wait to test this out sadly he couldn’t remember all the circles from the show even his development ability couldn’t help, but he knew their function and the ones that work so with effort and help he was sure he could make them in the future.

They were surrounded, but despite that, both had grins on their faces, “ready,” Moby said, “set,” “Go!”

Both kicked off the ground, dashing at their enemies. Moby jumped over many charging and swinging his glaive, slicing them in the air, Bell the opposite as his power slid stabbing from below.

It was a beautiful exchange of fighting. There were times it forced Moby to dodge and block incoming attacks slamming into Bell. Both recovered and continued to fight.

‘Damn it, they’re growing in numbers,’ He looked around, seeing more appear out of the Hole In The Wall.

He lost his fun demeanour and got serious. A glance at Bell saw him doing fine, which made sense considering he was stronger.

-Clang!

He clashed with the claws of a kobold. ‘The spark!’ He grinned, turning with the glaive. The spark grew into a red streak of lightning as he turned and slammed the weapon ingot the ground.

-BOOM!

The caves shook as a gigantic wall of flame erupted from the glaive, burning all the monsters in front.

“What!?” Bell shouted, seeing Moby’s skill, ‘is that magic!? He has magic too!?’

“Raah!” Moby roared, running with his glaive behind, slashing at every kobold and Goblin in the way, sending bursts of flames everywhere.

“Moby, be careful!” Bell jumped back, letting him go wild. He watched him swing left-right ground, slam with flames following behind, torching the monsters.

-Pang

He dropped his glaive, kneeling. ‘huff... damn glad to know that I have that down. Where is Bell?’ he looked back seeing the young boy with his jaw on the floor.

“Phew, pretty right?”

He could only nod as Moby stood up straight, cracking his back.

“That’s fine,” Moby stretched grabbing his weapon, he clapped and touched the ground it moved like a small ripple bringing all the magic stones towards him, ‘so it works so long as I’m partially able to create a spark if I had those ignition gloves I fight with my fists, but that’s not all I can do.’

He got up looking around at the damage he caused, the entire place was scorched, and he could tell his control over the flames was weak, he could only gather the oxygen to follow the path his glaive went to it was easier using something to focus than his mind.

‘Mustang, you’re a beast to control direction and intensity with your mind, jeez,’ he praised the man while Bell walked over.

“M-moby, was that magic?” he asked, seeing the surrounding ashes.

“Magic? No, that was my alchemy.”

“What!? No way I thought alchemy was for potions and your earth thing and weapon and.... oh,” the bunny boy’s face realized he knew nothing about alchemy but immediately shrugged it off, “then that’s great maybe we could dive deeper into the 8th floor!”

“Woah there cowboy we head to the 5th and see how we, I do unlike you I’m still human, and also the guide says it’s suited to have G abilities which I’m not sure If I have yet,” he flicked his forehead lecturing him on control.

As they delved deeper along the way, Moby’s mind wondered, ‘the circle and alchemy symbol is specific to the oxygen in the air controlling it to fuel the sparks into the explosions, but what if I altered it to create Ice?’

All he had to do was make the opposite of the fire circle, which excited the oxygen and slow it down while also absorbing the moisture in the air.

‘I know the basic alchemy symbol. I just have to know how to put the elements together.’ bell soon brought him out of his thoughts.

“Moby, we’re here,”

“Hm? Oh.”

He looked down, seeing a slope leading down.
