The fates of greek mythology sat next to each other at a loom.

" A new string..." Clotho, the Fate of birth said as a new thread appeared amongst the lot. Lachesis, the Fate of life, glanced at the string while pausing her knitting. She then returned to her project.

" It warrants change..." The old-looking goddess said. Atropos, the Fate of death, stared at the string for a second longer than her sister before turning back to the string she was holding. Looking annoyed, the goddess snipped the string of a mortal's fate with the small scissors she held in her other hand. The scissors were gold and silver long-bladed similar to shears... just small... compared to the goddess.

" Immortals..." Atropos said disdainfully as she picked up the next string of fate to snip.

...

Levana steadily walked along the path up the mountain. She was currently on Mount Ohthrys, home of the titans of greek mythology. Well, myths aren't always fiction in this world. Levana stopped and looked at the ruined palace from where she stood. A large pillar of air seemed to fall on a spot in the ruined palace.

She had an idea of what that was.

Levana watched as the palace seemed to rebuild itself as she walked up to it. The palace was a masterpiece in her opinion. It was made entirely of what looked like black marble. She watched as black towers built themselves as if trying to pick the stars out of the sky.

" Beautiful..." Levana mumbled. Even the voice within agreed. It was truly a palace fit for a queen. Levana quickly shook her head. Though a little violently, it seemed to dislodge the thought from her mind.

She was a traveller. There was no need for a palace.

The Veil was thicker than usual. As expected of a place that was once the home of a powerful race that were essentially gods in all but name. The tattoo which housed her knife on her left arm glowed a little more than usual. It welcomed the thicker Veil and continued to modify itself without Levana's input.

Not that she didn't know what her knife was slowly morphing into. She knew perfectly well. Though it had no voice, the woman had better communication with the knife than she did with the literal other voice in her head. THAT VOICE was keeping secrets somehow...

Though SHE irked Levana to no end, she was still grateful that Ba'al had given her more power. Especially since she was about to do something that would normally be considered rather stupid.

" *Breaths out* You've got this, Levana... you have this..." Taking a deep breath, Levana's perception of time slows and power surged through her body as a crown materialised over her head. Her left eye glowed its normal sunlight yellow while her right eye glowed deep royal purple. Even the annoying voice in her head stayed quiet as she stepped forward opening the massive black doors of the palace.

Levana strutted through the main entrance like a champ. Her anxious mind raced as she tried to remember all her rehearsed lines and her few flexible plans.

Before long, Levana walked into what seemed to be a throne room. There, multiple titans stood ready with their weapons drawn. In the midst of them was a golden gilded sarcophagus, one that radiated power.

Noticing how the titans all seemed to be over 9 feet tall, Levana couldn't help but feel small. She cursed herself for not learning how to shapeshift, even minor shapeshifting like changing her size may have helped in her current situation.

Levana began to speak.

" Titans of Greece, I apologise for intruding upon your domain. My name is Levana Ba'al Kaer. I am here to retrieve my friend, Aethra. Might you know where she is?" Levana said without breaking to take a breath.

She had surveyed the room or hall while she spoke.

Levana noticed a few details, Aethra was not present though she could smell her scent. The titan who she assumed was Atlas was holding up the "column of the sky" but didn't seem to be struggling. The large man seemed to be holding the sky up with just one hand. There also seemed to be demigods present.

One, in particular, caught Levana's sharp eyes. A demigod with sandy blonde hair, he also had a long scar from below his eye down to his chin. He looked rather confident for some reason.

A presence escaped from the sarcophagus and seemed to face her.

" I am Kronos, Titan God of Time and Harvest. You seem rather powerful... and queenly... Why don't you join me? We could rule this world together..." A deep and powerful voice spoke as the shadows in the room seemed to lengthen towards the sarcophagus.

Though this scene should have terrified most people, demigods and gods alike, Levana couldn't help but laugh aloud. She laughed deeply while wiping away tears from the corners of her eyes. Slowly she stopped and all there was left was an oppressive silence.

" You... LAUGH AT MY PROPOSAL?!!" The heavy and ancient voice bellowed.

" You MUST be kidding, right? You? You, a bodiless immortal, want to rule the world? Hilarious, Kronos!" Levana then burst out into another fit of laughter.

" YOU-"

" NO, YOU! You are naive to think that you stand a CHANCE against the other gods. Not to mention Yahweh, the biblical God! Had you offered to rule Greece, I might have considered. But the world? Impossible! Utterly impossible for you!" Levana shouted at the disembodied voice that she assumed was still present. Her two personalities synchronised for a second as she ridiculed the being that was essentially a ghost.

" I am really sorry about being this rude but you need a reality check. Now, back to the topic. Where is Aethra? I may consider joining you as a Queen if you are reasonable. With our combined power, we MIGHT be able to take over Greece." Levana said going through one of her plans.

" Fine... I do not know where this Aethra is. So? Will you join me?" The cruel voice that sounded like metal grinding against each other spoke. A deep sense of disgust and anger roiled through Levana's mind as she sensed the blatant lie. Her presence rolled out like a blanket as it responded to her emotions.

" LIES!" Levana shouted barely keeping a growl from escaping from her throat. Immediately, Levana's body began glowing brightly as if she was turning into a second sun, the surrounding temperature began to rise steadily.

With a flick of her left wrist, her glowing blade manifested. The carefully made plans flew right out of her mind as she leapt towards the nearest titan. Anger fueling her actions.
