In this climactic conflict, the Guardians' powers and the Terrans' resilience were tested like never before. But the Luminary Collective's relentless advance posed an ever-increasing threat. The galaxy watched with bated breath as the fate of the star system remained uncertain, and the struggle for power and freedom was slowly reaching it's peak.

In the midst of the heated battle, as the Terran and Guardian forces fought valiantly against the overwhelming might of the Luminary Collective, a mysterious energy enveloped the battlefield.

In the throes of the epic space battle, an unforeseen turn of events unfolded as the Luminary Collective's spaceships, unaware of the impending danger, found themselves ensnared in a trap they couldn't anticipate. The Luminary Collective's ships continued their assault, confident in their overwhelming numbers and technological prowess. They remained unaware of the invisible threat that lurked within their midst, masked by the Protoss' unmatched cloaking technology.

"General, our sensors say that the Protoss have entered the battlefield." A communications officer said. The General who had been directing almost stumbled and turned to Robin. He had already known that the universe didn't have a Protoss species so if the old sensors of Terrans were acting up at the moment, it meant that Robin had done something.

"Yes. I created the Protoss units." Robin knew what General was asking him without even needing to open his mouth.

"You created Protoss? The psionic one?" Ravi was flabbergasted. He had known already that Robin had the power to create. He had already seen it with his own, his creations. But experiencing it in real time was a different matter altogether.

"We needed assistance. The Terran spaceships weren't made for conquest. They were made for space wars for long period of time and we needed another unit which could beat them in their own game so few days ago I decided to create them. They will prove as a great asset."

His friends, though understood his meaning, were a little horrified thinking how this guy casually decided to make one of the most powerful species and not bother to tell them.

"Where did you keep them?"

"In the Trappist star system. They will be closer to our solar system in this way and act as a shield." Robin said as the star system was just 40 light years away from Earth.

"Now we won't have to think much about losing the war." Rita sighed as she said.

"Why? Did you have a doubt that we will lose the war?" Robin asked.

"No. It's just that we received a bit of battering today." She said.

"But it did allow them to come out and let us know what really we are facing. All we need to do now is to capture them and know what exactly is going on."

The Luminary Collective's ships continued their assault, confident in their overwhelming numbers and technological prowess. They remained unaware of the invisible threat that lurked within their midst, masked by the Protoss' unmatched cloaking technology.

High Admiral Selena, aboard the "Imperial Ascendant," was steadfast in her belief in the Luminary Collective's superiority.

But unbeknownst to her, the Protoss Motherships glided silently through the cosmic void, their energy signatures concealed from all sensors and visual scans. With unparalleled finesse, the Protoss warriors, gifted with psionic powers beyond comprehension, waited for the opportune moment to strike.

Then, in an awe-inspiring display of precision and timing, the Protoss Motherships unleashed their assault. Like specters emerging from the darkness, they fired their psionic lances with unerring accuracy. The ethereal tendrils of energy snaked through the void, seeking out their cloaked targets—the unsuspecting Luminary Collective's spaceships.

Explosions erupted across the battlefield as the Luminary Collective's vessels were torn asunder, their advanced shields and defenses proving useless against an enemy they couldn't even see. Ten of the Luminary Collective's most powerful spaceships fell victim to the Protoss' calculated and devastating attack.

High Admiral Selena's confident demeanor wavered as she witnessed the inexplicable destruction.

"What is going on? Who are they? Reinforcements? Why haven't the sensors picked them up?"

Everyone around was too tongue tied to even talk and understand of what was going on. Ten spaceships were gone in the blink of an eye. And they haven't even seen where the attack came from.

As the echoes of the devastating Protoss attack faded, a tense silence enveloped the battleground. The once-mighty Luminary Collective's fleet, still reeling from the unexpected onslaught, struggled to regain its composure. Little did they know that the Protoss Motherships, having demonstrated their unparalleled power and precision, were ready to unveil their true might.

In a mesmerizing display of finesse, the Protoss Motherships began to slowly lift their cloaking, one by one, revealing themselves like celestial giants emerging from the shadows. The radiant glow of their ancient vessels bathed the battlefield in an ethereal light, illuminating the cosmos with their presence.

High Admiral Selena's eyes widened with awe and astonishment as the Protoss Motherships slowly lifted their cloaking, revealing their majestic forms for the first time in her life. The luminescent glow of their vessels bathed the battlefield in an ethereal light, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and trepidation.

"By the stars..." she whispered, her voice tinged with both admiration and uncertainty. "What manner of beings are they?"

Her heart pounded in her chest as she beheld the Protoss Motherships' regal presence, seemingly emanating an aura of ancient wisdom and power. Never before had she encountered a species so enigmatic and commanding. In that moment, the High Admiral realized that she had underestimated the Protoss, and the consequences of her ignorance were now evident.

"Connect me to them. NOW!" Selena roared. She could already see that their fleet had been surrounded from almost all angles. The communication officer of "Imperial Ascendant" connected to the Motherships and after minute of wiggling fingers on holographs, he gave the green light to speak.

"Greetings. This is High Admiral Selena Ziran of the Luminary Collective from the Imperial Ascendant. Can we know why we were being attacked with no prior knowledge of aggression shown by the empire?"

Selena wasn't able to see the people on the other side as they seemed to have only communicated via a voice call, though they tried to. There was a complete silence in the beginning as the people in the Imperial Ascendant waited the response in bated breaths

"We act not out of malice, but out of a desire to prevent further suffering."

Selena furrowed her brow, her curiosity piqued by the enigmatic response. "Suffering? What do you mean? We are not oppressors. We are the rulers of the galaxy."

The Protoss leader's voice softened, a flicker of understanding crossing his features. "Our purpose is to safeguard the balance of the galaxy. We have sensed a dark presence within the Luminary Collective, one that threatens the harmony of the stars. We seek to restore balance, even if it means confronting those who would perpetrate injustice."

Selena's mind raced with possibilities. The Luminary Collective had indeed subjugated many worlds under their rule, leaving pain and suffering in their wake. Could it be that the Protoss were aware of this oppressive rule and sought to rectify the situation?

And even if there were problems with the Luminary Collective who were they to tell them otherwise? They were the rulers and nobody had the right to pint fingers at them. Especially not some foreigner. Though from the voice and the spaceships she could tell that these species weren't the same as the Terrans.

So this was probably tow galactic fleet ganging up on them. She was furious thinking of it. And she wasn't ready to back down. Since these people want to take the moral high ground, she would retaliate in return.

"We too seek peace and prosperity for the galaxy," Selena replied, her voice filled with sincerity. "It's was the so called Terrans who came with their guns blazing and we will do the same if you come between us and our rule. But between us, if there is a path to understanding and coexistence, we are willing to walk it."

"The Luminary Collective's reign has caused immeasurable suffering to many civilizations. We have observed your struggle against their oppression and cruelty."

'What a load of bullshit.' Selena cursed under her breath as she actively tried to think of escaping the predicament. She wanted to open an Artificial Wormhole and escape but there wasn't enough space around to do so and she was sure that she would be gunned down if she tried to escape.

"I am representing the Luminary Collective, and your words seems to be an insult to us. What you have just done in the name of peace and freedom is just blatant disregard of the territory of Luminary Collective which has all the points for us to escalate to a Galactic War. Are you sure you want to do this?" Selena said.

"Don't lecture us on freedom and peace. We have seen fair share of both sides and no side is better than the other, but the Luminary Collective has the audacity to impose rule on a free thinking society that didn't come to disturb you in the beginning."
