All Hu’er’s Daddies right now are observing the beastman in front of them. The tense atmosphere inside their home has never happened for so long. Yet the man they are intimidating, didn't flinch at all.

“You know about the situation Hu'er is in. She couldn’t immediately mate with you. Are you still okay with that?” Jia Ting’s tone holds power and force.

Jia Ting and Min He are actually the only ones who don't fully disagree with the beastman in front of them. He knows this beastman's life and personality due to an event where he needed to cooperate with him. In order to trust him, Jia Ting asked Min He’s help to check everything about him.

It was also because of that, they knew about his intentions towards Hu’er. They didn’t really agree with him at first, but after spending a long time with him, Min He and Jia Ting just accepted it.

Just as Jia Ting expected, the beastman in front of him didn’t even hesitate to answer, “Yes, I’m aware. I still want to.”

One of Hu’er’s Daddies gave him a reason to back out, “It will take at least less than a season.” And it is the truth.

However, the beastman is determined, “I know. I can wait.”

Everyone stayed quiet. They observe him, little by little and all they can see is a beastman who already made his decision to become Hu’er’s mate.

They don’t really have the power to say no to him and the Tribe won't take their answer. Only the female’s answer matters in this kind of situation. What they can only do is to intimate him into backing out or tell him things that could make him back out.

Yet, they know the beastman in front of them has no, not even a little bit, hesitation becoming Hu’er’s mate.

Since, there is nothing that they can do, everyone of them starts to think what this beastman can do for Hu’er. After thinking for so long, they all got defeated. The beastman before them is talented. Coincidentally, Hu’er doesn't have a mate that has this talent. They, too, don’t have it in them.

Jiu Hu sighed, “We will tell her. If she agrees or disagrees we won't get into this matter.”

“Thank you.,” the beastman said in seriousness with a hint of gratitude.

Ten days after that day, what needs to be done has been finished. The only thing that is left to do is to notify Hu’er about it and make her choose.

Jiu Hu went inside their home, with Jiu Lin’s guidance. Jiu Lin, Hu’er’s only mate already knew why Jiu Hu is here.

“Hu’er…” Jiu Lin couldn't help but smile at her. Seeing how his daughter having a good rest under the sun made him think about those times where she is still so little and her desire to go out.

Hu’er opened her eyes, confused. When she saw who it was, Hu’er stood up and ran towards them. “Dada!”

He chuckles, “Having relaxing sunbathing?” patting her head gently.

“Yes. Is there anything I can help with?” She grinned and looked at him with expectations.

These days are quite boring for her. Although, Ke Rin and the rest are her future mates, they can’t spend too much time with her anymore or at least Jiu Lin must be around her. They need to wait and be her mate.

He sighed, “There is someone who wants to be your mate.”

“Ah?” Stunned, she didn’t know what to say. Hu’er looks at Jiu Lin. He smiles at her, giving her a signal that he knows about it already.

Then, Jiu Hu explains, “The Tribe agrees with him. He passed all the tests needed. We won't say anything more but I just want to be clear that you can make a choice. If you don’t want to, no one will say anything.”

For all of that, Hu’er can't help but get curious about a word he said. “What test?”

Jiu Hu didn’t know what to say. He also didn’t want her daughter to know. “Just.. some random stuff. He also knows he needs to line up. He’s fine with it.”

Seeing how her Dada didn’t tell her what it is, she understood that her Dada didn’t want her to know or it is something that she must know. And so, she can only ask, “Who is it?”

Jiu Hu couldn't help but try to remember if the beastman and her had any interaction. He does remember two times they talked to each other but she was very young back then and might not remember. “I don't know if you know him or remember him. It was a long time ago. You were still so little when you met. He is one of those beastmen that gave you a gift. It’s much better for you to see him personally.”

She nodded, “I’m not sure… Okay. Give me some time to think about it.”

Jiu Hu sighed in relief. “Should I let him go back?”

Hu'er hummed, “Yes. Tomorrow, I’ll give my answer.”

Jiu Hu softly smiled at her and tapped Jiu Lin’s shoulder to give him support. “Okay. Don't think too much or be in a rush. Just decide what you feel is right.”

“I will Dada.” She grinned at her Dada and looked at Jiu Lin.

“Hmm,” Jiu Lin nodded.

They both walked Jiu Hu out of their home to their Daddies home. Watching Jiu Lin close the gates, she muttered, “Jiu Lin…”

Jiu Lin went towards Hu’er and held her hands, “I trust you. Whatever you choose, I’ll always support you.”

Hu’er was so touched that she took his hands to her lips. “Hmmm.. Let’s go upstairs? Talk about it?”

He chuckles, “Sure.” Jiu Lin carried her running in their home while laughing, making her giggle.

The door closed and only Hu’er's squealing in excitement and coquettishly calling Jiu Lin can be heard.

The sun is still up in the sky but whatever happens inside their home, only they know.
