Despite being reluctant to leave without beating Seth, both of them went away after Seth gave his last warning.

"All the preparation in the second study has been done, young master."

Seth got out of his reverie as he heard Lara informing him about the completion of his last command.

Since the main study was sabotaged by the protagonist there was no way he could stay here in between the dust and dirt.

Despite not wanting or accepting, Seth's original character has been affecting him.

Walking out of the room, he heard his maid Lara making a suggestion.

"Wouldn't it be fine to just rest now, Master? It's already late and you also got attacked. I-If master like I can provide m-myself as a body pillow for better sleep."

Seth halted in his steps before he turned toward the only maid who could dare to talk so much with Seth in the mansion.

More than tempted, Seth felt confused about this offer as he walked some steps toward her and saw her cheeks further reddening.

In the original plot line, Lara and some of the other maids hated Seth down to the core because of his brutal actions in bed and how he raped them just on the first day of joining.

But looking at Lara's virgin-like reaction and the affection she showcased in the study room…….Seth was indeed baffled.

He asked Lara such a question so he doesn't get caught in either case. Either she yes or no, Seth had words to follow.

But surprisingly enough, her answer was just contrary to the plot he has read in his last life.

Apart from the completely crimson-dyed face which betrayed her all-time cool beauty, the disappointment in her voice was vivid enough to make Seth ponder whether he should really take this Onee-san to bed tonight.

But he had a lot of things to settle before he could venture into the lands of nirvana.

Seth's crisp voice backing the sharp words brought Lara out of her maiden daze as she instantly bowed and asked for forgiveness.

Lara didn't follow behind since she had things to reflect on. Although she dearly wants her master to rest more, she doesn't want to become a nuisance.

The second study in the mansion was a bit smaller but Seth liked it more.

It has a small fireplace, bookshelves, and a round table in the center of the room. The room was cozy and warm.

Since Seth doesn't use this study often, Lara took some time to arrange the fireplace and provide the specific books he requested.

Seth decided to gain some world knowledge afterward through the books aligned in the history section.
