Du Ze inquired with slight disbelief touching his voice. Instead of taking the kids to the martial field for their training, Nik decided to give them a rest and lectured on various diets that could improve their pace in mastering the foundational part of Nik's basic technique. His lectures were slightly eye-opening for the commoner who had a single thought hammered in their minds— Meat=nutrition!

Not only was Nik's lecture aimed to make his student's technique more efficient, but he also targetted to make his training cost-beneficial.

A dreamy-eyed girl stood up and spoke with a slightly complicated expression, "Is it true that you are marrying into the Huyan Family?"

Instantly, the expression of many females in the classroom, including Shen Xiu, turned complicated. Even a few indulgent boys grew sour. Huyan Lanrou was their source of motivation and youthful drive!

"Nothing has been decided yet."

Nik smiled and refrained from saying further. He clapped his hands and broke the kids out of their thoughts. Nik was well aware of him becoming a crush for most of the girls. Nie Li and the others looked at Nik for a moment. Nik was feeling happy, that much was clear from the pleased look on his face.

"I read in one of the books of the library that there exists Spirit Beasts with age surpassing tens of thousands of years, reaching the milestone of a hundred thousand years."

Nie Li paused and focused on Nik's expression. Even though Nie Li felt that Nik could not be a spirit beast turned into a human, he can never be too careful. Alas, Nik's genuinely curious expression, made Nie Li feel relieved internally, a mistake he would not be even able to regret. Unknown to the entire classroom, a kind-looking black-haired girl with bluish bangs felt her body tremble.

"A hundred thousand year spirit beast?"

Before Nie Li could complete his facts, Shen Yue stood up and sneered while pointing at Nie Li, "Your words are as baseless as your existence."

"Says a worthless trash!" Nie Li scoffed, angering Shen Yue. They both knew about each other's interests in Ye Ziyun and could not look at each other in the eye in any matter.

'God, Shen Yue, should have been a poet instead,' Nik thought while clearing his throat, "Both of you, get out."

Nik couldn't care less about their teenage crush.

"Teacher, are you going to humor his 100000-year crap?"

Shen Yue asked with flaring indignation as he bypassed Nik's authority and asked Shen Xiu loudly. Shen Xiu instantly stood up and left the class with an audible groan escaping her lips. She was done with the banalities of the arguments of her classroom. I am this, and I am that. She did not have time for that crap!

For a moment, everyone in the classroom fell silent, and Nik frowned before focusing on Nie Li and Shen Yue. After a moment's thought, Nik decided to deliver his judgment tomorrow. Of course, he was going to promote Shen Yue to the title of the Enlightened Poet for his poetic trash-talking while giving him a punishment of his life and spoke up, "It's free class, everybody. Be sure to thank Teacher Shen Xiu tomorrow."

He placed his parchment into his spatial ring and walked out of the class. The classroom, meanwhile, erupted into a cheer as Shen Yue couldn't help but frown.

'Is Aunt feeling unwell?'

Shen Yue thought for a moment, but soon, he looked to his side and smiled at the Purple-haired girl, "Ye Ziyun, does your schedule also account for such idle hours?"

Even though the discussion between his and Ye Ziyun's engagement has already begun, the girl still ignored Shen Yue as hard as she could.

With a calm stare, Ye Ziyun nodded and stood up, "I need to speak with teacher Nik," Ziyun then looked towards a particularly bored Ray who sat with his head down and asked with a soft smile, "Ray, do you want to come with me?"

Ray groaned internally and stood up with a bright smile. Ray's charm easily outshone Ye Ziyun, but his status as Ye Hong's fiancee made him virtually a holy mother in the eyes of his classmates. Ray's gaze fell on Shen Yue for a moment before he smiled, with his gaze narrowing, "Why don't you join us, too, Shen Yue?"

Ray's invitation made Shen Yue's eyes brighten while Ye Ziyun looked at Ray with her lips parted and her eyes showing mock sadness. To Ye Ziyun, Ray's actions were nothing more than a friendly prank since Ye Ziyun had already expressed her dislike of Shen Yue in their chats to a great extent. Alas, what the two kids couldn't understand was that Ray never meant Ye Ziyun to hook up with Shen Yue.

Breaking rich and snobbish teens was a passion that the boy-succubus found great joy in.

"Hey, did you hear that?"

Lu Piao found another target to pester and elbow. His elbow struck Nie Li's forearm as he leaned down and whispered, "That Shen Turd is off with your lady. That oughta sting, right?"

Ray cut in and smiled. Finally, the little group ran into a ponytailed, orange-haired girl walking towards one of the more popular hiding spots near the eastern entrance of the Holy Orchid Institute. Ye Ziyun looked slightly rigid as she faced Xiao Ning'er while she nodded calmly. There was an unnatural blush on her face that caught Ray's and Nie Li's attention as Ray chimed, "Heya! Did you see Teacher Nik or Teacher Shen Xiu?"

Hearing Ray's words, Xiao Ning'er's face turned for the worse, and she averted her gaze.

"I don't know. They are not here."

Xiao Ning'er's martial skill allowed her to fly. So she would always fly down to the eastern spot for its incredible scenery.

Alas, this time, the scene that her gaze was subjected to was far from unusual. It was akin to a trigger that finally forced Ning'er to look the world with a different approach.
