(Alexander POV)

“WOOOH!!”

“…”

While I was seeing the two titans that were facing each other, looking for the opportunity to attack Rainer, some changes had occurred in Eren's titan form… several red lines had appeared on his body!

…it looked a bit like a fragmented piece of land through which magma was flowing. That analogy was actually very much in keeping with his situation, I even think some flames were coming out of his body!

It was certainly a very impressive appearance... and I think his strength had increased a bit, now it was a bit harder for Rainer to deal with him! 

But there was a very clear problem… I think Eren was overexerting himself in his titan form, I'm sure he couldn't continue like that for long!

Besides… it seems that he had lost his mind again and was not paying attention to anything other than concentrating on finishing off Rainer! If I approached carelessly, then it might not be Rainer who attacked me, but Eren! So instead of helping me, it had now become more difficult for me to try to help in the fight against our common enemy!!

…I could only wait for a proper opportunity.

On the other hand, I had to give up on the idea of directly attacking the titans' weak point which was behind the neck, Rainer's armor there was much thicker than other parts of his body. It was logical, being a more advanced titan than the others, then his transformation should protect that weak point much better.

…With much effort, I had only managed to leave a few marks sword on Rainer. And unfortunately, I couldn't get to the inside of his titan body where the real body should be.

So I had no choice but to stop and cease insisting on piercing through the armor on his back. I could only change my strategy… and soon I saw a plan that was perhaps more viable.

Like any armor, Rainer's [Bone Armor] couldn't completely cover all parts of his body or have the same thickness as his back. This one had to have places where it was weakest! 

And such places were obvious! The joints!!

If I managed to attack in those places, then that would reduce Rainer's mobility and danger. Also, I didn't have to concentrate as much to fully fill my sword with energy to pierce through his armor. Just a little energy to circulate in my weapon would be more than enough!

With that thought, I was circling above the two titans' heads while using the surrounding buildings to move around with the [Three-Dimensional Movement Equipment] waiting for the right moment to act.

And finally, it seems that this one had come...

When Eren throws himself against Rainer to try to immobilize him by applying a kind of hand/foot technique, the latter uses his only arm to get rid of him with quite an effort and throws him... and several buildings are destroyed by this. 

I hope that the people in that place have been evacuated before! If not, then I don't think anyone could survive such a disaster!

Well, unfortunately, I didn't have time to worry about others now... instead, it was better to stop Rainer and prevent more similar things from happening! Because of that, I drop from the air while my body spins like a top aiming at Rainer's outstretched arm!

I feel my sword connect…  also, with the effect of it creating a kind of leftover blade to lengthen its blade and also the energy on it, it continues the cut until it completely comes out of his skin! I think I had cut almost 2/3 of the muscle and bone in his arm!

Then, when I was at Rainer's waist height, I used the [Three-Dimensional Movement Equipment] to stop my downward momentum by pinning a rope to a nearby wall of a building. And without wasting time, a second one comes out, but this time to lift me in the direction I had fallen!

My sword sinks back into his skin, just on the opposite side from where I had made the previous cut... and by the time I had regained my previous altitude, I could see Raner's other arm falling to the ground!!

A big smile appears on my face… first, due to my achievement, and second… the figure of Rainer standing without any arms was a bit comical… it was like a doll whose arms had been ripped off by a child!!

Rainer's ways of attacking had been reduced even more now!

And it seems that he also thought the same, seeing himself in such a situation, he abandoned any attempt to fight and starts running towards the wall! It seems that now he wanted to escape!!

Unfortunately for him, it wasn't that easy! Eren who was back on his feet, run after him to stop him! 

…it really seems like he's lost his sanity again. He was running like a dog after Rainer… on the other hand, it couldn't be said that now that Rainer had lost his arms, he would have the upper hand in a fight. By instinct, such a thing should motivate him even more to attack Rainer now! 

Well... as long as he reached it.

Due to their fight so far, Eren's arms were completely shattered as well… moreover, most of the damage was done by himself from attacking Rainer's armor!

I couldn't stand still either and I'm behind those two… and probably because it was hard for Eren to run in his current state, I'm the first to catch up with Rainer. I had to stop it at any cost since it seemed that his goal was to crash into one of the weaker parts of the wall with his whole body to create another hole and escape!!

If another breach was opened in the wall through which the titans outside could once again enter, then surely the people inside here would fall into utter despair! After all, there was nothing worse than when it seems that you have won or solved some problem, then you realize that you have to go through the same thing again!

This time I approach Rainer without worrying too much, aside from his attention now focused on escaping, also now I don't have to worry about any attack coming from him!

Right, his feet were still dangerous… if I got kicked, I would surely end up like a meatloaf! But during his fight against Eren, I realized that he wasn't as good at using his feet as Annie who I had to fight during our training.

…It seems that both, that girl and I, were trying to keep our distance, but… unfortunately among the group of all the recruits, she was the one who fought the best! 

Shigure and Saeko focused more on their swords and not physical combat, and even that girl was superior to Mikasa in that regard. So it was not strange that the trainer brought us together on several occasions to practice.

One of the [Three-Dimensional Movement Equipment] ropes digs into Rainer's leg, I don't know if he doesn't notice it or just ignores it, but it didn't matter… when I'm pulled by the rope towards him, my sword sinks into the leg back of his knee.

This time I don't worry about amputating his entire leg, I just focus on making sure the cut is deep enough and that it's in the right direction and place. So after Rainer takes another step forward and stomps, his own weight does the work!

His leg practically snaps in two and he loses his balance to fall to the ground in the next second… and while that happens, I use my swords to hold myself up like a kind of stake and stay attached to him. 

When the movement stops, I jump onto Rainer's unprotected back! Now there was nothing to stop me from taking that guy out of his titan body!

Being able to calmly concentrate on putting enough energy into my swords, I start digging through the pesky armor he is wearing! Piece after piece of what appears to be bone is cut away, and I soon reach the soft area under the armor!

…Although Rainer tried to move somehow, without his two arms and one leg, he couldn't do much more than shake a little while I dug into his back. He was a bit like a tortoise turned upside down... I don't know if it was due to his own weight or if his energies had been depleted, but he couldn't even turn around to stop what I was doing... or at least make it more difficult for me.

Instead of Rainer, I was more worried about Eren… if that boy came to attack him now, then he would become more of a nuisance! But when I direct my eyes for a moment to his place, lest I end up being crushed by that fool who lost control, I realize that he had also stopped moving... it seems that he really over-exerted himself in this fight.

Now white smoke could be seen emanating from his body almost like a chimney!

… haaa~ Now I won't just have to take one boy out of a titan's body, but two! 

Without having to worry about anything else, I continued with what I was doing. Not long after, I was seeing Rainer's face again which looked quite frustrated...

"My offer still stands… surrender and then I'll let you have your life."

“…”

With my sword at his neck, I give Rainer an ultimatum now that we could face each other directly. It looks like his arm was growing back... but I was sure he wouldn't grow another head if I cut it off this one!

“…okay, I give up. But what will happen to Bartolt? Will you let him live too? ”

“Don't worry, if that guy gives up too, then he won't lose his life either. Also, it's the same for Annie and Ymir.”

“E-Eh? D-Did you also know about Annie? 

B-Besides, what do you mean with Ymir… d-don't tell me, she too…”

"Sorry, I don't have time to argue with you right now, for now, you'll have to go to sleep"

“E-Eh? W-Wait-Ghaah!!”

Rainer doesn't ask me where I'm taking him and things like that, which surprises me a bit, but I quickly think I understood his thought… he probably thought I'd take him to some superior in the army? Most likely.

I think it's lucky for him since I didn't plan to do something like that… the mission only says to capture them, it doesn't ask me to hand them over to the people who run this place. From the beginning, I had thought of taking them to the citadel after we captured these people!

What did seem to surprise him was that I also knew about Annie…and I think he didn't even know about Ymir. And although I didn't mind answering him on that subject, unfortunately for him, it seems that the other girls had already been fighting for some time... I was a bit worried about them and wanted to go to their place!

Before he can ask more questions, I hit his neck with the blunt part of my sword to put him to sleep just like I told him. Then I finish taking his whole body out of the titan and put him on my shoulder... if others saw me carrying him, it would surely be a bit strange image since Raisen had the big body of an adult man, while mine was still developing.

“A-Alexander-sama! It's great that you're okay, I knew you could take care of that traitor on your own! ”

“…well, it was easier than I thought thanks to Eren. Also… I think we also have to get him out of there ”

“Y-Yes! I take care of that!

…but what are you going to do with that guy?”

"For now, I'll have someone take him to the citadel that I told you and the other two guys about."

Probably because she saw that the fight was over, Mikasa comes to my side. Right away, as she said she would, Mikasa takes care of getting Eren out and so we go back to the wall. I wanted to see how Horo fared against the colossal titan...

Surely she's upset that I left her the bigger guy, but ... I didn't do it to get the easier job, but because I thought it would be more troublesome for her to have to deal with Rainer's armor! 

I hope she believes me...

When I search for those two once we were over the wall, I quickly find them. It wasn't hard to locate them, one was a big she-wolf... and the other a thing over 50m! 

But then I run into an unexpected situation...
