The youkai of Japan have noticed a monthly occurrence; many miracle vegetables and fruits started to circulate from the northern part of Japan. Yasaka, the leader of Easter Youkai, is also among the people who notice it as she also buys them herself.

She looks at her chief researcher and says.

"Any progress? It's been two months since I gave it to you and your team."

The Tengu in front of her shakes his head and says.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Lady Yasaka. My group and I cannot figure out how these vegetables stay alive and grow into this."

Yasaka nods and looks at the Golden Carrots in front of her.

Tengu nods and takes out a stack of paper from his bag.

"These are the tests we conduct with the soil of the Underworld, Heaven, and Asgard."

Yasaka reads the paper in her hands while Tengu continues his explanation.

"Just like us, they cannot be grown in their soil. We even conduct a simulation using magic and Youjutsu to make the environment the same as these three places."

Yasaka nods and says.

"That is good. At least we can breathe easy knowing the devil cannot grow them either."

The Youkai and the Devil race have a bad history with each other. Not because the Youkai like to cause trouble to the devil but the opposite. The Devil is the one who always starts a conflict, and the Youkai can only swallow the insult, for they do not have enough firepower to fight the entire race of Devil.

They could if the Youkai race united and had the support of the Takamagahara. Without them, they cannot fight the Devil on equal ground. Yasaka did not want to admit it, but they only had the number, not the quality.

However, with the new vegetables and fruit on the market, they can change that. The only thing she needs to do is to make sure the other people cannot get them and grow them. She knows she cannot prevent the vegetables from reaching the black market forever, but she can make it as long as possible before they can reach the black market.

With them cannot be grown in the underworld; she now only has to prolong the goods reaching the underworld.

Yasaka looks at the Tengu standing next to her and says,

"How is the mission?"

The Tengu nods his head and says.

Yasaka has a dream, a dream that lets the Youkai faction stand against the strongest faction in the world without the help of the Shinto Gods, and this young man is the key to her dream.

Yasaka snaps from her thoughts and looks at her spymaster.

"What is it?"

"Before you meet him, I need to tell you one thing."

"What?"

"One of our Divination Masters managed to see something that freaked her out."

"Out with it."

He takes a deep breath and says.

"She sees a massive being covered in a void of the universe. She sees an endless pool of darkness from the young man. She did not know what it was, but she knew one thing."

The Tengu looks Yasaka right in the eyes.

"The man you want to use is a being that hides his true nature. He releases a low-level power, but deep down; he can easily kill anyone in Japan. Even if that is not true, he has a potential to become something very powerful for his potential is as deep as the abyss of the universe."

That made Yasaka pause and frown.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. We are one hundred percent sure."

"Is he a threat?"

"No. We don't think so. I feel he already knows we are investigating him, but he let us do it and continue doing what he is doing, farming."

Yasaka's frown gets even bigger.

"Is he a god?"

That is a possibility. A lot of God can reincarnate into a mortal or possess the said mortal. The first scenario is very unlikely as they will lose their power entirely, and God is too prideful to lose their power. They would rather die than lose it.

The most likely scenario is the second one. A God possesses a mortal and experiences a mortal life. It was a rare scenario, but a dozen or so Gods had done this in the past.

"Our team thinks so. We have a theory."

"Tell me."

The Tengu nods his head, takes a deep breath, and says.

"We think he is Amatsu-Mikaboshi, the Primordial God of Chaos."

Yasaka looks at him in shock before shaking her head.

"That is impossible. Lord Izanagi sealed him in the deepest part of the Dimensional Gap. He cannot get out of his prison! Lord Izanagi gave his life to seal him in that place."

"We thought so as well. However, do you still remember the history, my lady? What is the condition Lord Izanagi created for him to be released?"

Yasaka thinks for a moment before saying.

"The seal will be broken when his anger disappears, and his mind is not clouded with a vengeance."

"That's right."

"You don't think…."

"Yes. We theorize he already forgave Lord Susanoo, and his anger toward the world is gone. Now to fill the gap in his heart, he does what his wife likes doing."

Yasaka slowly nods her head and says.

"His wife, Toyoukebihime, the Goddess of Agriculture. Her favorite pastime activity… farming."

All the people in the meeting room look at each other without saying anything for a minute.

"My lady, should we tell Lady Izanami? He is her son, and she deserves to know."

Yasaka thinks for a moment before shaking her head.

"Not yet. We don't want to give her false hope. He is her favorite son, and Lord Izanagi spared him because of her request."

The others nod their heads in agreement.

"I will talk to him first before we do anything."
