My comrades used their shield got themselves killed from the explosion.
They deserved more praise if they weren’t dead.

Truthfully, I reported what happened properly to them.

I even saw his right arm missing while that young lad carried him.
But when we returned to that guest room his arm was suddenly restored in perfect mint condition.

It made my face twitch and wondered.

[How the heck did they do this?]

Healing magic.
Normally there are Ark Seals made to properly use them.
However, the children didn't seem to carry any seal nor any knowledge to use them.

And yet…
They still managed to restore a missing arm.

I made a pause as I deeply thought about it.

If what that young lad said was true.
Then those two young girls are practically geniuses that should be praised by the country.
but the fact their family own ship fired on the place they were supposed to protect gives them a unique situation.

Or that's what I would like to say...

“You are temporarily relieved of your duty.”

he then said.
“Are you aware how old the two girls you claim to have used wide-scale healing magic are?”

I shook my head in response to his question.

“I see…
They are at least 9 years old.
Along with the fact they are also human.” He calmly said.

9… years…. Old… and… human.

That’s kind of impossible.

Wide-scale magic while healing a missing arm?

What did I just hear from that lad then?

Am I going crazy and simply misheard it?

Normally the biology of a normal human who can use magic
doesn’t manifest until they are at least 12 years old or so...

The youngest recorded sorcerer in this world is basically,
at least 11 years old and now is practically an arc-mage.

Though I heard that person had a family of sorcerers that was a complete nut-jobs for magic.

My superior then said.

“You probably mistook the twins as the one who healed the prince.
But the young lad with them seems to have an aptitude to use light magic.

The only possibility is him being the person who healed the prince…
There was also a misreport regarding your own report claiming about the prince missing an arm.”

YOU IDIOT!

These were the words I wanted to shout out to him.
A tear fell from my left eye as I felt like I was being persecuted for telling the truth.

Even if I make a fuss regarding the two young girls, younger than even my own daughter.

I’d probably be seen as someone who has a serious mental condition.

Now that I think about it…

No one will believe a 9-year-old could use high-tier magic such as wide-area magic or restoring another person's limb.

There are talented children who are at the age of 11-13.
who could only heal minor wounds but this kind of power needs to be looked upon closely.

But looking at the worried look of my superior I don't think he would believe my words.

At this point, I had no choice but to concede and accept this vacation.
“Screw it,” I mumbled to myself while turning away from my superior...

But he then said.
“We haven’t found the one responsible for the wide scale-restoration magic.
There are many reports that it even reached the outer city.”

My face froze when I heard that.
How the heck is that even possible?
Shouldn’t that require an immense amount of mana of insurmountable amount to even make possible?
Most of the people who can heal in this world can only restore minor/big wounds and only gifted few can restore lost limbs.

But the fact that someone managed to send out a powerful pulse of healing magic that stretches even outside the citadel.

Isn’t this some kind of powerful lost magic?

Lost magic also is known as Lost knowledge.

After the calamity 300 years ago.

A vast history of information and knowledge regarding magic was consumed by the monstrous growth of the creatures of this world.
There are only a select few who are aware of such power and are kept hidden and often treasured by the kingdom.

My superior then added.

“Most of those who were healed is having a complication with shrapnels stuck in their bodies.
The doctors need to open them up again then remove them,

but aside from that...

Have you witnessed anyone in there, who conjured this kind of magic?”

"I HAVE ALREADY TOLD YOU!?"  It. was. the. kids!

Seriously, If I was given the chance to smack this superior of mine.
I would have done it already.

I don’t want to be seen as a crazy person.

I shook my head in response instead of suppressing the urge to hit him.

I soon took my vacation as swiftly as possible...

However, a missing hand was found at the scene of the incident.

Now then...
We were completely caught red-handed.

For some strange reason, I was treated as a hero.

While my siblings were seen as those who assisted in treating the prince.

But the two sisters swiftly grabbed my mouth as they pulled me back in as I tried to retort and claim I wasn't the one who healed him.

It was later explained to us that I possessed Light attribute on my Arcane tests that I did on my 12th birthday.

Great, so that's why they assumed it was me.
Who saved the prince.

As for my two siblings, they haven't taken the tests yet as they were still too young to perform it.

Though, I've already seen what they were capable of...

I deeply sighed, hoping they won't make me do anything ridiculous.

Right now, we are locked inside a bedroom.
As for our family, I have no idea what they are going through.

But according to the Lady Knight who is actually a teacher in that Otome game 3 years later.

However, her poor control of alcohol still remains an issue...
It is hinted, that she was often taken advantage of multiple times because of this.

She is one of the safest routes in the story.

Though most fans, see her as a bad ending due to being *Too easy*  than the rest of the other girls.

Like who gives a shit!
She has one of the best figures in the game and isn't a yandere that makes you eat poop!

The fact she's super strong when given proper equipment makes her one of the reliable casts in the story.

However, our situation right now with her is rather unique.

Because at this moment in the story.
She is a Royal Knight of this kingdom.

One of the most respected ones there are...

And right now she is currently gazing at us intently with observant eyes.

The prince was taken away and was looked upon by the royal palace medics while...

We are caged like a prisoner in this room with her.

Though, to finally see her in person makes me cry tears of joy...

It also gives me the chance to ogle at her chest
while pretending to be gazing at her eyes but it doesn't stop moving downward as her clothes slightly exposed the chest area.

Dammit!
At this rate, I'll be seen as a pervert.

Baster!
Assert self-control this isn't a game anymore.
She'll chop you up if you don't behave yourself!

During this time the twins are on the bed leisurely resting.
Tori was showing signs of worry and anxiety.
Talie was perfectly calm, however...

Though, it can't be helped.
These floating golems are recording everything happening in the room.

I then asked the Castel.

She gazed at me with a worried and bitter expression as she said.

You kids, however, are innocent.

But, your family is currently being questioned under suspicion of Lese majeste."

After pausing she changes her pose as she moved her hand underneath her chests
making it seem larger but then said with suspicious eyes.

"However, there are still unknown variables here.

Such as I would like to know how you three came out of that place unscathed."

Baster flinched as she asked that word.

Talie who was slovenly resting on the bed, swiftly replied to her question.

『Who wouldn't put up a defensive shield around them when they heard such loud gunfire from outside the palace. 』

She retorted with a twitch on her brow.

"But you kids don't have any ark-seals which are used as a tool for magic."

『Don't need em. 』she calmly replied...

As she rolled off the bed and stood.
as she showed her a simple spell as she waved her hand producing a thin dark transparent shell in front of her.

『Shade Shell.』she called it.

『It is a spell that burns away any incoming projectile.
Tori if you please.』

「Yes...」

She tosses a pillow towards her as it was shredded to pieces.
It's fluttering feathers was blown towards the air as it filled the room.

Tori opened the window to ventilate the room.

Her face twitches even more.
"You are nine am I correct?"

『Yes... Though,
I can only keep it active for a short time or else I'll start feeling really tired.』

Castel pauses for a moment as she raised a finger, then said with a sigh.

"Where did you learn to use this spell?"

Talie said with an easy-going expression.

『Dunno...
I somehow know how it works and it happens.』

"Were you the one who healed the prince?"

『Nope, I only know this single protective spell.
Baster was the only person who did that.』

Baster was silent as they continue their lie.
Tori showed a calm expression while wearing a poker face as she then pulls a sheet from the bed to cover her face in guilt.

"I... I see...
This should explain a bit more about what happened.

I can guess all three of you, went to aid the prince when he was injured during the incident."

They nodded to her question.

"Then, if you would excuse me..."

After gathering information from us she was about to leave but then I swiftly called out to her.

"Hey wait!"

She turns her head as her chests slightly jiggled.

His eyes gazed at it like a magnet.

[Damn you, physics!] he cried out inside his mind then said.

"You still haven't answered my question.
What is going happen to our family?"

She pauses a bit then replied.

"The odds are...
They would be seen as innocent,
however, a large number of noble families lost their children in that incident.

Those people are pushing for an execution.

You guys best prepare yourself and hope it doesn't end that way."

As she said those words, she left the room with the golems but there were a few left still gazing at us.
So we still needed to keep ourselves from saying anything reckless.

Though, after thinking for a while...

Talie seems to be aware, We weren't going to get out of that situation without telling them how we survived such a catastrophe.

 I can't help but feel amazed by how she catches unto situations like that.

It was at this moment Tori asked her.

「Is this really fine? They will have their eyes on you because of this.」

『It doesn't matter if we hide it.
Things will only get worse if we did hide it.』she said.

As I predicted, she exposed herself because she knew things will only grow worse for us.
She then added.

『Besides, they already have their eyes on us whether we like it or not...
Even if they did know I was capable of this much.

It's not like its a dangerous spell or anything that can harm others.』

Shade Shell.

A type of spell that destroys any object that enters its barrier.
Interestingly enough, a shadow tier spell that has many uses in the battle.

I never heard of such magic in the game before.
Hopefully it doesn't drag us into more problems than they already are...

The report was soon given to the king and his vassals...
With the BlackRose family currently under heavy watch.

They discussed, what they should do next.

As soon as Lady Castel showed them the records of the floating golem to them.

Most of them, gaped with a surprised expression as they gazed at what she had revealed to them.

"A child able to cast a spell without an Ark Seal?"

 

"It appears to be some kind of Lost magic.
Though, she seems to be unaware of it.

What do we do?"

 

"They rescued the prince and kept him safe.
While their family ship was responsible for that catastrophe.

If their intention was the prince,
Then they should have just let him bleed out from the incident after our personnel got tied up in the rampaging machines."

 

"We still haven't discovered the person responsible for the wide-scale area healing magic that occurred during that incident.

They say that magic has already spread outside the castle."

 

"That is also an issue we need to address..."

The king raised his hand and said to them.

"The young man is interesting to be able to use healing magic without a Seal.
But that young girl who carries lost magic is even more intriguing..."

 

"Some kind of shield that destroys anything that enters its barrier.
We can probably have her imprint that ability on the ark seal and weaponize it as our own."

Ark Seals are tools that can record spells.

While they are pocketed tools, most of the time they are borrowed from actual sorcerers who can use them without requiring its utility. However, most people who are able to use magic are now regaled as researchers or shut-ins who simply wish to discover more types of magic to utilize as Ark Seals to sell.

They were now simply rich merchants of the land.

However, they are unable to properly sell complicated magic that is too big for the Ark Seal to handle.

 

"Can it even be applied to the Ark Seal?" as soon as someone asked this question.

Everyone mutter's as their voices echoed the halls as it floods the place.
The king then raised a wooden hammer and made banging noises as he said.

"Silence."

Everyone went quiet as he said those words.

"We still need to judge what will happen to the BlackRose family.

After a long interrogation,

It appears a spy managed to enter one of their prized ships and use it against us."

 

One of them then shouted.
"What a careless, irresponsibility.

Because of them my child died in that place!
That family should be burned!" A grieving parent cried in anger.

As the guards moved to shut him up and take him away for ignoring the king's wish for silence.

"Since this careless mistake on their part was whole fully their responsibility.

I have no choice but to lower their position and power to a Baron.

While taking away a large portion of their military strength as part of our own.

After a thorough investigation is conducted on their own personnel.

They will also be subjected under a close watch by the royal family and will remain to serve this kingdom."

One of vassal's clicked their tongue in disdain to his wish...
But he ignored it as his face twitched in annoyance.

Others gasped as they saw the punishment was undoubtedly severe.

From a duke to a baron was a large punishment as the loss of their family power was substantial.

But there was a reason why the king made this decision.

Now that they have made a lot of enemies after the incident.
The King himself decided to keep them under their protection until the true culprit is caught.

As for their children,
he was also intrigued that such young youth's risked themselves to aid his son in his troubled hours.

It was his way of repaying his debt, for the children whom risked their lives for his sake.

He intended to execute them if his most favored son became a victim.
But that fear swiftly faded as it was confirmed that his son was alive and well.

Everyone was silent as they all bowed to him while saying.

"Understood your highness!"
