Chapter 4

The evocation school of magic included spells that manipulated energy or tapped an unseen source of power in order to produce a desired end. In effect, they created something out of nothing. Many of these spells produced spectacular effects, and evocation spells could deal large amounts of damage. Many iconic offensive spells such as magic missile, lightning bolt and fireball were of the evocation school. The evocation school had no subschools. A Mage who specialized in evocation was known as an evoker.

I looked back at the prompt which appeared right after I finished having a group hug with my siblings. So many things unlocked when I completed my current quest. This means that they've started to be able to sense their Ethernano container and channel magical energy, as it was the bare minimum to start using magic. Excellent! My sibling disentangled with me after a moment while laughing at our state; I got covered in dirt.

This appeared when I had a moment with my family. I had ignored the bond thing in my menus, I knew exactly what it did, it quantified the level of my relationship with the people I interacted with. I mentally accessed the menus and looked at my bond level with my siblings.

Mirajane Strauss: Bond Level 9

Elfman Strauss: Bond Level 9

Lisanna Strauss: Bond Level 9

Scathatch: Bond Level 0

Artoria Pendragon: Bond Level 0

Gilgamesh: Bond Level 0

So if I understand this well, after a certain amount of bond level I get bonus stuff? I don’t like this, it’s like quantifying my level of intimacy with someone and it… cheapens that. So, I’m going to ignore that function pretty much all the time; it was strange that I didn’t remember putting it in the system with ROBB. Well whatever, now we needed to get my siblings up to snuff on magic!

I turned to my little siblings, Mirajane having succeeded in accessing her magic, I decided to focus on Lisanna and Elfman. "So Lisanna, Elfman. We're going to teach you how to access your magic. I know you have it, I can feel your Ethernano, do you remember when I touched you with my glowy hand?"

Lisanna nodded. "Yes, it felt so warm."

She blushed prettily and it forced me to hug her and kiss her cheek. Why was she so cute!?

"Stop big sis, I am a big girl now!" Lisanna struggled in my embrace, she was blushing while I kept kissing her face.

Elfman was laughing at her like a loon. Then I stopped kissing her, still holding her in my arms. "You'll always be my baby sister."

After this, I showed all three of them how to make a ball of Ethernano to use as a light. Lisanna succeeded at her first try, Elfman after his fifth. Mirajane was the outlier… She did it on the first try. My big sister was catching up to me and it lit a fire under me. I glared at her when she said, “Wow, this is so easy.”

Then she proceeded to change the ball’s shape and make constructs of light dancing around us. She is rather talented… Lisanna followed suit, Elfman made tools rather than animals and he even learned how to solidify the constructs because he really wanted to. “Wow, you’re all geniuses!”

At this point, I made my own magic too. I looked at a tree, then shaped the Ethernano on my fist and entered into a combat stance. I threw down a punch and the magic discharged into a single arrow of blue light that traveled the distance from me to the tree in less than a second and the tree exploded. Wooden chunks spread everywhere, and I looked shocked at what I had created.

Magic Skill Created:

Magic Arrow [Rank F]

“Yay! I succeeded!” I jumped up and down, hands in the air.

My little sister tackled me, then with ardent fervor asked me, “Roxy! Teach me it!”

Eflman followed suit and jumped onto my back, and yelled, “Me too, big sis!”

I reinforced my body because I felt that it wasn’t done yet, Mirajane then ran toward me and tackled me as well. Her eyes were filled with stars and worship. “That was so cool!”

I showed them a smug expression and then nodded. “Okay, then I will teach you!”

1 week later

The sun dipped into the horizon, leaving its place to the moon in the darkening sky. We were in the woods where I felled a dead tree with a point blank magic missile. My brother, Elfman, had a magic ax in hand and was ready to chop it to use it for fuel for the campfire. He was becoming really proficient with Light-Make magic. He stumbled on this magic so easily that I asked myself if he was himself another reincarnator. He kept making spears, swords, ax, even animated animals like Mirajane had shown before; he could use those as mounts.

He took to my Magic arrow spell like a duck to water as well, compared to Mirajane and Lisanna. They were all really gifted in magic manipulation, ah! As the little ones busied themselves, I decided that I needed to look at the Spirit Take Over system.

“Menus.” I said aloud, calling out the menus to look at at my semi-gamer system. Under my eyes an opaque blue box opened, with some options. My status opened and for the first time I saw the Spirit Take Over system in full.

Status
Summoning
Servants
Magic
Command Cards
Gamer Ascension/Reinforcement

Some stuff was grayed out like the Map and the Gamer shop… will I need to clear some special condition to unlock them? Almost certainly, it was always the case in the gamer fanfics that I've read. Next, I focused on my status and the magic tabs, they opened simultaneously. “Status.”

It showed me which servant I had equipped and the state of my magic. On the magic window, there was only one skill documented, something that was gifted to me. It was the first magic skill that Shishou taught me, it was called Super Archive. She said that it would become the cornerstone of everything she will teach me. As a side effect, the magic conferred on me a better, near-eidetic memory, and I intended to milk it for what it was worth.

What interested me today was the summoning tab in the menus. I stared intensely at it and said, "Summoning."

From what I could read from the description; Summoning allows players to receive additional Servants, and Craft Essences

Saint Quartz summoning is used to summon Servants and Craft Essences of 3-5★ rarity in FGO; but in my Spirit Take Over system, I use Lacrima. Lacrima is a Magic crystalline substance found in both Earth Land and Edolas. Lacrima can be powered up with different spells and used for different purposes. This was basically Ethernano (Mana) Crystallization; the energy was so potent that it solidified.

I clicked on the Summon button and I saw that each Summon cost 500 Lacrima at the lowest rank.

Use Summon 500 Lacrima [Rank F]?

Yes/No?

"Yes." I said and then the summoning sequence conjured Mash’ shield two meters away from me and the star began to align.

“Servant, Assassin. Fuuma Kotarou. I might look like this, but please don't let that bother you…” The Ninja kneeled at my feet, looking straight into my eyes; though his was hidden under all those bangs. He was handsome, my type of guy really…

I quickly replaced Ryougi Shiki’s Assassin slot with Kotarou. He was going to be more manageable than her I felt. “Welcome Kotarou, we’re going to be the best team ever.”

He nodded, a rueful smile on his face. “I’m glad that you think so, Master.”

Mirajane then walked into my private space, “Hey Roxy, who are you speaking with?”

“I summoned a new spirit.” I said, then I equipped Kotarou and then, “Install Fuuma Kotarou.”

My clothes turned into sparkles of light and then knowledge and muscle memories carved into my body; and when I opened my eyes, it was to the shocked face of Mirajane and of my siblings who have been watching us all along from the bush.

Elfman bowled into me and shouted,“Wow, you’re like a ninja!”

I chuckled. “I am a real ninja in this form, you know. A pretty decent one.”

<Thank you for the praise, Master.> I heard Kotarou’s voice in my head.

It seemed that he was easy to please…

The next day…
Training marble
Forest clearing
Early morning

I was busy sparring with my little brother under Artoria’s supervision. I was thrashing my little brother with his lightsword; but he always stood back up, Artoria finally appeared in the training marble and could be visible or even touch my little siblings.

I let my brother overextend and twirled my blade with a flourish and he lost his grip on his sword which planted into the ground and next the tip of my blade was on his neck.

“Stop!” Artoria commanded.

I dismissed my light sword with a thought, Elfman sat down on the grown and began breathing hard. We just didn't have the same level of stamina and power. Artoria walked up to my little brother and entered his field of vision and crouched next to him. “Elfman, you keep overextending yourself. Roxy is bigger and stronger than you for now. You must defend more and only attack when she's wide open.”

“But Roxy has none of those!” The little boy complained.

"You got that right." Scathatch is a slave driver and she punishes me for any hole in my defenses.

With an encouraging smile and a jiggle of her big boobs, Artoria said, “Don’t worry young Elfman, under my supervision, you’ll be a matchless swordsman in no time.”

I saw his eyes shine as he didn't look into Artoria’s eyes. *She’s going to turn my brother into a breast man…*

Elfman stood up and said with a boyish grin, “Yes, teacher! I won’t disappoint you!”

"I believe in you, young man!" She patted Elfman's back, making him stumble a bit.

Then her eyes fell on me, her fighting spirit spreading around her, I glared at her and my own spirit collided with hers.

Skill created:

Fighting spirit [Rank C]

Artoria was surprised and she unsheathed her sword slowly. "Roxy, now it's our turn to spar."

My eyes widened. *Fuck, she’s going to kill me!*

I didn't even have the time to think, I rolled on the right and materialized a Light-Sword and stood back up, but Artoria was already on me, and I had no choice but to deflect the blow while reinforcing myself. Our blades collided and my sword just… broke and disappeared from my hand. Artoria kicked me with a heeled foot and sent me flying against a tree.

I had the dubious honor to see the mana burst skill in action as she shrunk the distance between us in less than a second and she was about to swing at me vertically.

Skill created:

Bloodlust detection [Rank D]

"Light-Make Shield!" I shouted as I pushed as much magic as I could and with a clang sound, I deflected Artoria’s invisible sword for the first time ever.

She stopped and then looked at me. She said proudly, "Very good."

She sheathed her sword and helped me up. I glared at her and said accusingly, "You almost killed me!"

I slapped her arm and pouted at her. She patted my head and played wise teacher. "No, I gave you the illusion that you were about to die, and you used a new move to deflect my swing."

So that's why I got the bloodlust skill? It was even a passive one, always on now. This was good, it might save my life in the early stage of my stay in this world and against those assholes from the dark guilds. I was thankful to have such a dedicated teacher.

(Mirajane Strauss)

Mid-morning

While Artoria was teaching Elfman and Roxy, Lisanna and Mirajane were meditating to renew their reserve of Ethernano. They sat on a large picnic sheet spread out on the grass of the forest clearing. Lisanna had two balls of light orbiting her head and which were changing colors, just like a rainbow.

Lisanna was doing fine with light magic, but she was more of an artistic mage than a combat one. Mirajane knew that she was still at that age where she hesitated to kill cute things and wanted to humor her. Unlike Roxy who wanted to give the kid a semblance of individuality and to be able to survive without their big sisters.

Mirajane's twin had a point, but she didn't have to be happy about it. Speaking of Roxanne… Roxy was becoming stronger than Mira and this couldn't happen!

Mirajane was the big sister and not Roxy; already she sought out a way to harness the Satan Soul take over she got. It was present and sealed inside of her after Roxy killed it. When it died under the boots of her sister, she had felt something flow inside of her.

She closed her eyes and sought out the thing inside her that was giving her this dark sensation. And she gasped when she saw a ball of dark and purple color rotating around her Ethernano container, it was linked to her by some kind of thread made of pure Ethernano.

Mirajane knew exactly what it was, it was the soul of the demon she and Roxy killed. However, she felt no sentience from it, as if it was completely dormant or tamed. The white haired girl scowled at it, but didn't shy away from it. Roxy trusted completely her spirit, why couldn't Mirajane do the same but control this demonic power?

She grabbed it with her will and a dial appeared in her mind's eye overlaid on her Ethernano container. Then a needle appeared and the ball of darkness embedded itself in a half radial slot. The needle then stopped on the ball with the demon's soul. Mira felt power coursing through her at this moment and there was an itching sensation all over her body.

When she opened her eyes it was to see the amazed eyes of her siblings looking at her in awe. Mirajane looked at her hands, they went back to become demonic ones, she had scales and she felt something on her back.

"Mira you've changed! You've got wings!" Lisanna who was still seated pointed her finger at Mirajane.

The older girl then contracted her wings and felt them move, they were jet black bat wings. Roxy walked up to Mirajane, Lady Artoria in tow and she said, "Ah, you started to get the hang of your Take Over magic! Excellent, now let's see what you got to work with, sis."

Mira jumped in the air when she saw Roxy lunge at her with a Light-Sword. She conjured her own, but instead of light what she got was pure darkness. Mirajane fell when she lost concentration because of the shock of her new power, but didn't hurt herself.

Roxy had the decency for her sister to get her bearings. "Do you need more time?"

"I… don't think I can control this form well." Mirajane admitted.

Roxy dismissed her sword, Mirajane did the same and they walked toward each other. "Tsk… fine. I guess we will focus on having you control those new limbs of yours… before having a fight."

"Please?" Mirajane threw puppy eyes at her sister.

Roxy rolled her eyes. "Let’s ask, Artoria…"

The Queen was playing with Lisanna and Elfman though… They threw colored balls of light at each other. This was a control exercise that I taught them, it was crazy how good at it they were getting; I would be joining later, but my sister’s problem came first.

Back with Roxy…
1 days later
70 km from the nearest city…

Mirajane got used to flying, she was our spotter now and she said that we were coming toward some kind of village. I had a bad feeling about that, because said structures in this village were looking like mud huts. I wished that we had a spyglass or a long range divination spell to see what was happening in this supposed village.

There were people too,  from what Mira could see from the sky; but the more we approached the settlement, the stranger things got. The forest we were in became darker, and silent as if all the animals had fled.

Story Quest 2: Kill the hillbilly Shreks or die!
You’ve just arrived in the territory of a developing Orc Village and you and your siblings are in danger! This area is considered an open dungeon; escape this encirclement with all your siblings. Help is coming!
Orc: 0/300
Orc Chieftain: 0/1
Reward: ?, ?, ?
Failure: Your Death and that of all your siblings.

As I read the prompt of the quest, I said out loud, "This isn't a human settlement, but a monster one…"

I immediately swapped Heroic Spirits and equipped and installed Artoria, she was more of a monster slayer than Koutarou who was more of a scout to me at this point. With warm light, my clothes changed to become… an Artoria Lily outfit. I had expected a different one, but I guess that will do.

Mira followed my example and turned into her Satan Soul form. I know it wasn't fully complete yet, but it will do, it must. Elfman conjured a Light-Make spear and Lisanna summoned a Light-Wings to be able to fly and play air force with her Magic Arrows.

This is a recent development that Mirajane and I wanted, the kids should be able to get out of harm's way. Elfman could ride a flying Pegasus after I showed him what they looked like with Light-Make magic.

The quest did say that we need to escape encirclement… that's why I said to Mira and Lisanna, "You two look for big monsters who look like people around us, if you see some don't engage and report to me."

"Okay, Roxy." Mirajane's tone was full of worry.

Lisanna answered in a happy go lucky way. "Sure, big sis."

Lisanna jumped into the air with her big angel wings beating to keep her aloft. Mirajane followed her and they disappeared from view after a while. I wish we had invisibility magic as well! We could focus on stealth, hmm light magic can help with this? Or should it be called electromagnetic wavelengths manipulation? We will try that later, we just barely touched what Light magic truly is.

Elfman and I went to find cover in a big ash tree that we climbed and we used its foliage to disguise ourselves. Archive magic deployed giving me access to a keyboard and screen shaped by magic. With a command, I deployed my active magic and used Telepathy magic to contact sisters. [What’s the lay of the land, Mira, Lisanna?]

I felt their surprise at hearing my voice, but I had already shown them that I could do this before so they adapted. Lisanna was the first to roll with it as she informed me that, [There’s a lot of big green people all over the forest!]

It was at moments like this that I wished to have a map of the world with my Gamer system. But I think there was a need to obtain a real map to unlock the feature.

[That’s crazy, how did we miss them? How did we get so far in their territory?] Mirajane was surprised, I chose not to speak, because the answer was self-evident.

My brother, Elfman, had an idea how and he voiced it. [They must have let us pass to stumble on their village to eat-]

[I think Elfman is right, they let us enter their territory. We need to find a way out and run away.] I cut my brother, not letting him finish his sentence. I didn't want him to traumatize our littlest sister.

He stared at me. "Why?"

"Lisanna doesn't need to know, okay?" He looked sheepishly at me, having forgotten that the youngest was an impressionable little girl. I sighed and hugged him, making him understand that I wasn't mad at him.

[I found a way out!] Lisanna shouted over our mental link, interrupting our moment.

With a serious and most intense tone, I asked, [Where?]

Mirajane told us what she was seeing. [It's in a quarry, a big cave!]

It wasn’t enough, I needed to see what she was speaking about; then I had an idea! [Show me, focus really hard and send me a picture of what you're looking at.]

After a moment, a window opened and was saying, “Information Transfer.” It was one of the handy stuff that the Archive magic allowed, normally it is one way but I’m not satisfied with that. If telepathy allows the exchange of thought, why not picture and image too? Archive can send information regarding miscellaneous data (such as the nearby surroundings, for instance) to their comrades, which they can perceive on a mental level as loading bars in buffering progress occurring within their mind that represents the images and symbols being downloaded into them in real life; with this, they can help their allies navigate around places by transferring "maps" into their heads.

Hmm, yeah this is a nice place to fall back to and stand our ground; this was giving me the seed of an idea. I mean, the 300 in spartan used a place similar to that. What was its name? Thermopylae! The Battle of Thermopylae was fought between the Achaemenid Persian Empire under Xerxes. He didn't look good in the movie though. [Okay, girls stay there! Me and Elfman are coming toward you!]

“Elf, bring out your pegasus!” I told him with a grin.

I knew my brother loved flying, but he preferred having a mount under him to be able to throw magical missiles. Lisanna was good at multitasking, my brother not so much. “Okay!”

Elfman jumped down, gathered his hands and started shaping his Ethernano in his mind. When he opened his eyes, it was to chant, “Light-Make, Pegasus!”

A glowing winged horse appeared, it was the size of a warhorse. And my brother jumped on it by enhancing his body with his magic. Give it to a boy to find a way to become stronger… I jumped on the construct's back from the tree as well  and the winged horse ran, beat its wing and then we were in the sky.

ROAAAAR!!!

Bloodlust detected!

We heard a roaring sound behind us; when I turned my head I saw a bunch of orcs following us, some even threw spears at us. Elfman made his magic construct zigzag in the air to avoid getting hit by those stone spears. I threw twenty magic arrows at them for their troubles.

Wow, got five of them! Oh and when I kill stuff I get exp cards!? Let’s fudging go! I was going to kill all those fuckers. Huh wait, I don’t have the party system unlocked yet. So some of the exp will be lost… Just as I thought that, I realized that the orcs were pursuing us. *Huh, why are they pursuing us?*

A green tide of orc came from the village, hot on our tail. And was that the sound of a horn?! How are they so fast? “Elf, go faster!”

He nodded and the construct started to beat its wings strongly; we gained more ground like this, leaving the dumb orcs behind. But they were still chasing us! They were stubborn monsters. This continued for five minutes, we were almost to the place Mirajane and Lisanna had found. We started losing speed, Elfman started panting and breathing loudly.

“Big sis, I can’t fly anymore.” Informed me my little brother.

I clicked my tongue as I watched our altitude and speed lower. “Damn, we’re going to work on your reserves later. Land the horsey and we can run toward the quarry.”

“I’m sorry, big sis.” The kid must feel like he left me down.

My arms tightened around his belly. “You don’t have to be sorry for anything, c’mon, we need to run!"

He dismissed his Pegasus in mid-air when we were five meters off the ground and we landed in sync on the rocky ground; then we started running toward the quarry, the position of our sisters highlighted by the Archive magic which showed us the way.

"Roxy! Elf! Over here!" Lisanna was in the air, her arms and legs moving to attract our attention.

We could hear the orcs behind us, and I continued to sense bloodlust directed at us. I turned and stood my ground while shouting at Elfman, "I will do the tanking while you and Lisanna attack the monsters with Magic Arrows from a distance."

But before I could do anything, I saw Mirajane enter in a Kamehameha pose, with a black ball of magic starting to form in her hands. Then she fired the darkness filled beam at our pursuers. The globe of darkness turned into a large purple beam which reached the cohorts of Orc that chased us and generated a powerful explosion.

BOOM!!! Rocks, dirt and body parts exploded into the air. Mirajane just wiped out a good chunk of the orcs with her Kamehameha.

*Okay, I’ll try to not piss her off anymore.* I laughed nervously.

"Thanks to the gods." I sighed, we had room to breathe.

Bloodlust detected!

I shouldn't have tempted murphy! Arrows and stone spears flew toward my sister. "Oh no, you don't!"

Thirty magic arrows coalesced around me and I shot them toward the projectiles. I destroyed most of the volley and Mirajane went into dodging mode and retreated a bit more. This left me more agency to slow the orcs down.  I used mana burst and was on my foes right away, they were all bunched up together… so I chopped the head of the first one clean off his neck; I dodged left a cudgel strike which would have traded in my head.

"GHAAAAR!!!!" The beast cried in frustration.

Eat this! My invisible sword struck the orc on the head. "GHAAAAAZZZzz-urk" it cried out as I stabbed its brain.

With a mental command, I killed the window. I needed to focus on the fight, not on the system’s windows.

"MAGIC ARROWS!!" I heard a voice coming from the sky; it was Mirajane who was flying overhead again. Mirajane’s attack struck and some orcs started falling; I frowned, those weren’t the usual, arrows made of neutral Ethernano, those were completely dark; my sister already stumbled on elemental affinity magic?!

What the hell is wrong with her growth curve?! Hey, now that I think about it, didn't orcs have a weakness to fire? I jumped and started to use the dead orcs as a step ladder and jumped in the air and manifested ten or so magic arrows, then focused on adding the fire element to them and… lo and behold the previously neutral magic shifted to the fire element.

I killed more orcs, I don’t know how many as I turned off my Gamer notification for now, but the smell of burning flesh was prevalent; even so the tide of green skinned savage humanoids didn’t ebb at all. Even Lisanna had to join to try to stem the charging orcs, but we kept retreating as they advanced on us; then I realized that we needed to use the terrain to take them on.

"Let's pull them toward the cave!" I said as I stepped back from a strike and ran toward said cave.

“Got it!” Mirajane yelled.

The orcs filed inside the corridor, following us.I reached inside the cave, it wasn’t dark inside as there was an exit into the clifface of the quarry; the passage was at least ten to fifteen meters. Mirajane sweeped in while retracting her wings. Instinctively, I used Invisible Air: Barrier of the Wind King on the entrance of the cave. Then a defensive wall of wind sprung forth to cover the mouth of the cave, sweeping the dust and rocks aside.

The orcs collided with the wind barrier and were momentarily repelled by it; the creatures soldiered on and began slamming their weapons or fists against the barrier. I looked at them, they looked feral and their collective bloodlust was palpable. Here in the gray stone cave which looked to be man-made, I started panting in relief, but the tension was still there; only Invisible Air was keeping us alive right now.

Turning to my siblings, I saw Lisanna shake a bit as she looked at the creature wanting to kill us; the little girl reached for Mirajane who hugged her with one of her bat wings. Elfman was glaring at the creatures with a bow made of light with an already notched arrow made of light.

“Okay, we need a plan.” I said, not moving from the spot where I was with my sword pointing downward.

Mirajane looked at each of us, then at the orcs and asked the question filled with the most common sense, “Yeah, but can’t we just run?”

Because of the quest I got, I doubted it; we might find help or not, or we could as well bring out trouble to an innocent town or hamlet. The work on the quarry shows that it wasn't natural. “We could, but we need to thin them out first. They’ll try to follow us, and imagine if we find a town or village on the way? Look at the walls around you, this cave is man-made, so there must be a settlement near us separated by that Quarry acting like a natural barrier with the forest we came from.”

Mirajane stepped back in shock, horrified by my prognosis of the situation. “This isn’t good! We must not bring trouble with us.”

Lisanna made a little whince, she was a bit terrified, while Elfman tightened his hand around his bow. “Yeah we need to kill more of them before leaving. Can you use the magic from earlier to explode them, Mira?” I asked her with hope that she still could fire the fuck off beam.

My elder sister looked down and became more hopeless. “I can't because my magic reserves are low.”

I shook my head. “We all really need to work on our magic capacity… we have the skills but not the endurance to fight for long."

Magic is like a muscle, the more we use it, the longer we can practice it. We were in a bind, how were we going to get out of this situation? Looking down, I looked at my sword and then realized that I have the solution there. Excalibur! I looked at my brother and sisters and said, "Okay. I know what we will do.”

I gripped tightly on the handle of my sword. “I'm going to attack all those meanies and you guys and you in particular, Mira, need to pick off the remainder and the straggler, I won’t be able to move after the magic I will use.”

The orcs were still beating on the wind barriers, the blade of my sword started glowing with a golden shimmer, becoming almost blinding. My sister began to panic as she noticed the shining wisp of golden light coalescing  around all of us. The sword was drinking deep on my Ethernano core, the Grail.

“Roxy, what are you going to do?” Mirajane asked in a panic.

My eyes didn't even leave the orcs as I told her, “If you got your own Fuck off beam of magic, I got mine too, sis.”

“Ah, what do you mean!?” Mirajane asked, confused and dazed by the current display.

The wisps formed a halo around me and I let my magic explode outwardly. "I'll show you, stay back with the kids."

She listened and I felt her getting well out of the way near the exit of the cave. I held onto Excalibur with my two hands and lifted it up before my head, blade high. “Sheathed in the breath of the planet, a torrent of shining life. Feel its wrath.”

A large amount of my Ethernano flowed into the sword and its aura flared as I held the weapon higher and then… I shouted, “EX---CALIBUR!”

Dwooom!

Destructive light unleashed from the tip of the blade like a laser beam and shot toward the orcs who seemed to sense the danger but it was too late. The cave seemed to disintegrate around me, the ceiling and the wall simply disappeared. BOOOOOOOOM!!

The radiance of the explosion formed a large and tall pillar of golden light which blinded me for a time. When my vision cleared, I saw that the cave and tunnel didn't exist anymore, part of the cliff and the quarry had also disappeared and turned into a crater. “Holy shit! Did I destroy the fucking quarry?”

Then I quickly toggled on my notifications and they appeared with a 'Ding' sound.

Weakness filled my body, I let go of the sword and my clothes came back to my normal ones, a tunic and shorts. *Ah shit… so… tired…* I ended up on my knee and the ground was coming to meet with my head.

“Roxy!!” Mirajane calling my name is the last thing I heard.

Omake:

Natsu: Roxy FIGHT ME!!!
Roxy flicks a gout of fire at Natsu who jumps and eats the magical fire.
Natsu: Ah! Using fire magic against a fire dragon?! You're an idiot!
With a deadpan look, Roxy looks at the baka dragon slayers and cracks her knuckles with a devilish smile.
Roxy: Oh, okay then. I Cast Fist !
Pow!
Natsu ends up embedded in the wall with his eyes turning in his head.
