While I'm in favor of killing the bandits, this was a glorious scam by a princess who doesn't realize how OP she is to make her enemy surrender without a fight.
Basically while her wisdom stat is rock bottom, both her dexterity and charisma are superhuman. She's a min-maxed super munchkin.
I love her so much already. This is 100x better than her just pulling out the sword every time.

right?? What's the point of unstoppable OP weapon skills when the story precludes you from using violence? The weapon is just worthless set dressing then! What's a weapon for if not poking bad guys? Stories without combat are fine... but not when the entire premise is built around combat prowess, y'know?
I mean, I guess the weapon is just for cutting cakes and keeping the rain off in this one? At least I wish even that would happen more often.
