Before dawn the next day, Roger heard a faint quarrel downstairs. He changed his clothes, opened the door, and walked down the stairs.

"Amanda, you are not allowed to go anywhere today, just stay at home obediently!"

Andrine's voice was full of suppressed anger, "Your aunt called me early this morning and told me that you didn't go back to spend the night!"

"This is our agreement, no matter how late you play, you must go home that day!"

"Look at your current state!"

Andrine lost her usual composure and coolness.

"What am I doing back here?"

A crisp female voice said lightly.

"Anyway, you're not at home, so what's the difference between going home like this?"

There were hurried footsteps, and a young girl with messy red hair suddenly appeared at the stairs.

She obviously didn't expect that there were other people standing on the stairs, and she was caught off guard and almost bumped into Roger.

She looked at Roger in surprise.

"Who are you?"

"Why are you at our house?"

Andrine also chased up from behind at this time, seeing Roger, a look of embarrassment flashed across her face, and hurriedly introduced, "This is Roger, and this is my daughter Amanda..."

Before she finished speaking, Amanda chuckled, "Is this your new boyfriend?"

"Looks better than that stupid Greg!"

"Amanda!"

Andrine almost roared through her teeth. Seeing that her mother was really angry, Amanda also knew that her joke was too much. She shrank her head and made a face at Roger.

Then she stomped upstairs.

"Get dressed and come down for breakfast!"

Amanda yelled.

Turning her gaze to Roger, Amanda apologized, "I'm sorry, did the conversation between us bother you."

"This girl is getting worse and worse. Sooner or later, I will be mad at him to death."

"Mom... I can hear you."

Amanda's voice came.

Andrine simply ignored her and waved to Roger, "I made breakfast, let's come down and eat together."

"OK."

Roger nodded, not polite again.

Breakfast is simple, omelet milk and bread, and a little homemade blueberry sauce.

Not long after Roger sat at the table, the girl named Amanda changed her clothes and came to the restaurant.

She has bright red hair tied in a beautiful ponytail at the back of her head, her skin is very fair, her arms look thin, but her face is a bit fleshy.

Under the fair skin, a few freckles on the cheeks are particularly eye-catching, but this does not destroy her beauty, on the contrary, it gives her a naughty and youthful atmosphere.

"What are you looking at?"

Amanda rolled her eyes at Roger and said angrily.

"Amanda!" Andrine glared at the girl.

Amanda spread jam on the bread by herself, "How can you be a mother? Someone has something wrong with your daughter, and you are indifferent..."

"Shut up and eat!"

Andrine thumped the table gently.

"Today is the weekend, so don't go out and run around, and accompany Roger around the town for a while. It's his first time here, and he is not familiar with Bay Town at all."

Amanda curled her lips and was about to refuse, but when she saw the banknotes that Andrine slapped on the table, a smile filled her face instantly.

"Don't worry mom, I promise to complete the task."

Andrine turned to look at Roger, "The police station hasn't received a notification yet, so don't worry, take advantage of the rest day and spend a couple of days shopping in Bay Town. I will notify you as soon as there is news. you."

"Thank you, Ms. Andrine."

For the female sheriff in front of him, Roger thanked her from the bottom of his heart.

The identity problem hanging over his head has not been resolved. Roger originally didn't plan to go out for a stroll, but he thought about it, he didn't know anything about this world, so he might as well take the opportunity to find out. A place where he could relocate the hunter's hut.

When he came back last night, he had quietly experimented, and none of the houses along the way could meet the relocation requirements.

What's even more tragic is that Roger knew nothing about the relocation request. Now his eyes are darkened and he can only go out to try his luck.

Before leaving, Andrine called Amanda aside and said something in a low voice. When she came back, her attitude towards Roger was obviously relaxed a lot, and she would stop making some trivial jokes.

The two rode bicycles and wandered aimlessly in the town along the tree-lined path. Roger noticed that Amanda took him to some relatively remote places.

The red-haired girl didn't talk much after leaving the house, and Roger's attention was focused on the surrounding houses. Just like this, the two walked around in silence all morning.

"You really lived on the island with a murderer for nearly a month?"

Sitting in a fast food restaurant on the street, Amanda asked curiously while stuffing French fries into her mouth.

Roger froze.

Based on his understanding of Andrine, even if he could explain his origin, it should not involve specific case information.

As if seeing his doubts, Amanda explained nonchalantly, "I secretly read the documents she brought home, so I know what she will do the next day."

Roger didn't expect that the careless girl in front of him, although she didn't seem to get along well with Andrine on the surface, actually cared about her very much in his heart.

Roger nodded.

He didn't want to go into details on this issue, because the more he said, the more likely he would show his feet.

"Cool!"

Amanda smiled and gave a thumbs up.

"Tell me, what did you do on the island?"

She stared at Roger strangely, "Although you are thinner and don't fit my aesthetics, I think in the eyes of some greasy middle-aged uncles, you should be..."

"Hey, did he touch you?"

The curiosity in Amanda's eyes was almost engraved on her face. She leaned forward and asked with great interest.

Did this guy eat all the chips in her head?

Roger has a black face. This kind of question can be asked to others? Once he really experienced something on the island, he might get sick on the spot under this girl's repeated questioning, right?

When he didn't know how to answer, Amanda's cell phone on the table vibrated suddenly.

"Hello?"

Amanda answered the phone, and after a few words, there was a hint of hesitation on her face, "Today?"

She glanced at Roger and shook her head, "I'm afraid not today."

"Uh... well, well."

After hanging up the phone, Amanda tentatively glanced at Roger.

"What's wrong?" Roger asked curiously.

"If you help me lie to my mother, I will take you to a mysterious place in a while, and introduce you to some beauties by the way."

Amanda tempted.
