“Sigh…Nothing’s going to happen so why don’t we forget about the guard duty tonight? Anyway, there’s still 4 days left for D-day,” Miss Father’s Day said as she stretched her two hands out and rose from her seat.

Mr 7, who had just woken her up from sleep glared at her and said, “Be a little more serious now, can you? Mr 0 had given us this task so we can’t afford to disappoint him even the slightest otherwise you’re well aware of the consequences.”

Miss Father’s Day’s dizziness quickly disappeared after hearing Mr. 7’s words as she got herself on her feet.

“That’s better, we can never be too careful,” Mr. 7 said as he walked towards his makeshift bed on a pile of wooden crates to catch up on his sleep.

Miss Father’s Day gazed at his back as she muttered to herself “So you say but weren’t you reading an ecchi manga during your shift…”

She didn’t waste her time on him and walked around the place to remove the soreness from her body. The area on top of the clock tower was dull and humid. The cold night was doing little to remove this humidity from this area since all the openings were closed by that ‘never too careful’ guy.

Fanning the innards of her top with her hand she walked towards the window in an irritated manner and opened it up.

A whiff of fresh cold air filled up the insides of the clocktower freshening up her mood.

“Now that’s more like it,” She muttered as she closed her eyes to enjoy the cold air passing all through her damp clothes.

“It’s indeed a lot better,” A voice muttered.

‘Who!’ Miss Father’s day was immediately alerted by the unfamiliar voice and immediately turned around.

Unfortunately for her, before she could even fully glance at the person’s appearance a blunt object slammed on her neck and her world turned black soon afterwards.

Okame took back her sheathed sword and observed the unconscious woman on the ground for a couple of seconds as she glanced towards the direction of Mr. 7.

A few minutes later Sanji and Chopper walked towards her direction with the unconscious Mr. 7 in tow. Chopper was in his human form and was dragging the unconscious Mr. 7 behind him. From the man’s appearance, one could gauge that he had a blow on his face and from the size of it, it was clear that the one who took action was Chopper.

Chopper was in quite a good mood as Sanji had complimented him for his swift actions earlier. After dragging Mr.7’s body towards Okame he let go of it and then looked towards Sanji for further instructions.

Sanji understood his and Okame’s inquisitive gazes and opened his mouth.

“You two can go back and rest. I’ll be handling the rest of the procedures myself.” Sanji” gaze was pointed towards the bomb while he said that.

“You don’t plan to diffuse it on your own now, do you?” Okame asked worriedly. Earlier she was only aware of the fact that there was a bomb placed there but after she saw how big the bomb looked, she couldn’t help but develop goosebumps all over her body.

The reason for such a reaction was that this bomb was enough to turn the whole of Alubarna into a pile of rubble. Standing in front of something so catastrophically dangerous it would be odd if one is unperturbed so she couldn’t help but ask Sanji out of her worry.

“I wish I was that capable, don’t worry the rest of the task is very simple so it won’t be much of a bother for me, so go back with a relieved mind,” Sanji said.

“Alright,” Okame replied as she lifted Chopper, who was now back in his little form, in her arms and left the place.

“Let’s get to work then” Sanji said as he took out two small bundles of ropes from his pocket which he had bought in the evening and restrained the unconscious Mr. 7 and Miss Father’s Day tightly.

“Well, it’s not perfect but it will do the job,” Sanji said as he looked at the finished knot he had made. After this was done, he left the clock tower and moved towards a certain direction in the darkness of the night.

Half an hour later a man with a cigarette in his mouth was stopped by the palace guards.

“No one’s allowed to enter the palace grounds, go back.” The guard said while giving Sanji a fierce look. Sanji knew that something like this was going to happen so he began with his task which was to cause chaos.

The guard felt Sanji’s leg zooming in towards him as he felt a strong impact below his chin and flew a few feet above the sky before slamming back down unconscious.

“You!” Seeing their partner getting beaten unconscious the rest of the guards soon got into action and encircled Sanji while the other smart ones ran inside to inform their superiors.

Sanji was unperturbed by their reaction and continued kicking one man at a time till the point no one was left standing. When all the men were dealt with, he slowly started walking towards the direction of the palace.

“Walk no further otherwise that would be your last step,” A calm voice echoed descending from the sky. It was a talking falcon who slowly morphed into the appearance of a human.

‘Pell’ Sanji thought to himself as he lifted his hand to remove the almost used-up cigarette out of his mouth and flicked it to his side. Pell watched each move of Sanji with great seriousness ready to take action the moment he took even a step.

What followed afterwards was not something Pell had expected.

“I give up,” Sanji said with a cheeky smile as he raised both of his hands in the air with his palms open.

“You said you give up?” Pell asked once again for confirmation as no matter how many times he played the situation in his mind such a response didn’t make sense.

“Indeed, I surrender,” Sanji said with the same cheeky smile still pasted on his face which gave rise to a sense of irritation inside Pell.
