And honestly that's okay.
Not every story has to have torturous conflict. And I say this as someone who slapped an MC in a world with pretty much everyone trying to kill them oh and they also have latent gender dysphoria on top of that. You want to write fluff that makes the heart grow warm, and that seems to be what speaks to you, then do it! Make a smile on someone's face
