CHAPTER 65: MASTER IS BACK!

ORIGINAL Author: Chaos

SPINOFF Author: Vester

"Xinxia? Is that your name?" Zhankong's voice cut through the tense atmosphere, soft and reassuring. Ye Xinxia slowly raised her head to meet his gaze, her tearful eyes filled with a mixture of desperation and hope.

"You said your brother was Mo Fan, right? Then you have no need to worry about anything. You may not realize it, but your brother has been a beacon of hope for this city. He has saved so many lives during this calamity that I cannot even begin to count. He has even helped me multiple times. He is a Strong Guy!" Zhankong's words carried the weight of truth and gratitude.

Ye Xinxia listened intently, her heart heavy with concern for her brother. She knew Mo Fan's courage and strength, but the thought of him venturing out into the dangers of the city filled her with dread.

"I will still send a—" Zhankong's reassurance was cut short as a brilliant scarlet light erupted from the sky, engulfing everything in its fiery glow.

((Aaaaahhhh!!!))

The intensity of the light forced everyone to shield their eyes, the brilliance searing into their retinas.

As the light spread, the entire skyline was bathed in crimson, casting an eerie glow over the city.

THUDDRRRR!!

The air crackled with energy, sending shivers down the spines of those who witnessed the spectacle.

In the Safety Shelter, panic rippled through the crowd as they grappled with the magnitude of the phenomenon unfolding before them.

Mages, in particular, felt a primal fear grip their hearts as they sensed the overwhelming power emanating from the crimson sky.

“What the…” Zhankong himself was very terrified of it!

It was as if the very fabric of reality was being torn asunder, and in that moment, the calamity that had plagued the city seemed insignificant compared to the terror of this new, inexplicable phenomenon.

The ominous aura emanating from Bo City spread like a malevolent shroud, its tendrils extending far beyond the city limits, encompassing the entire planet in its grip.

To humans, it was a fleeting moment of shock and dread, a sudden chill that sent shivers down their spines.

But to other living beings—animals, monsters, and creatures of the wild—it was an entirely different experience.

In a distant land, thousands of kilometres away from China, lay the Sacred City, the holiest place on earth.

Here, atop a grand palatial building, a young man with golden hair sat, his gaze sweeping over the bustling city below.

With a delicate antique cup in hand, he savoured the aroma of his tea, exuding an air of regal satisfaction.

THUDDRRRR!!!

As he brought the cup to his lips, a sudden shift in the air caught his attention. His eyes snapped open, a look of intense focus crossing his handsome features.

Without hesitation, he set the cup aside and extended his palm towards the source of the disturbance.

ZWOOSH!!!

BWOOOSSHHH!!!!!

A surge of divine energy erupted from his palm, dispelling the malevolent aura that had penetrated the Sacred City's barriers. A golden halo seemed to shimmer above his head illuminating the sky, a testament to his divine power.

The young man's gaze narrowed as he contemplated the nature of the evil aura. “The birth of a new emperor, perhaps?” he mused, his eyes narrowing in contemplation.

But even as the thought crossed his mind, he knew deep down that the power he had sensed was far too formidable to belong to an infant Emperor.

“No… it is something else,” he whispered to himself, his voice tinged with disbelief. And then, as realization dawned upon him, he uttered the words that sent shivers down his spine: “The Sacred Evil God.”

In that moment, the young man grappled with the enormity of the revelation.

The notion seemed unfathomable, yet there could be no denying the sheer magnitude of the evil power that now loomed over the land.

It was a force so dark, so potent, that it threatened to consume everything in its path, leaving only devastation in its wake.

Even he, with all his divine power, could hardly comprehend the sheer malevolence and vastness of the force he had just encountered.

In the land of the rising sun, amidst the serene beauty of Japan, a traditional seaside room beckoned with its tranquil allure.

With one wall completely open to reveal the breath-taking expanse of the sea, the room exuded an aura of timeless elegance. Tatami mat flooring and sliding paper doors added to its minimalist charm, while a low table adorned with zabuton cushions awaited its occupants.

As the gentle sea breeze whispered through the open wall, carrying with it the soothing melody of crashing waves, the room became a sanctuary of peace and harmony.

Simple yet tasteful ornaments adorned its interior—a vase of freshly picked flowers, a scroll painting depicting a tranquil seascape—each adding to the ambiance of natural splendor.

Seated gracefully in the traditional seiza posture, a delicate girl exuded an aura of ethereal beauty.

Her hair, styled in a manner reminiscent of ancient tradition, framed her serene features, enhancing her natural grace.

Draped in an exquisite kimono adorned with intricate patterns and vibrant colours, she exuded elegance in every movement.

Midway through her cultivation practice, a sudden surge of energy jolted her senses, causing her to widen her eyes in astonishment.

With keen intuition, she turned her gaze towards the direction of the disturbance, though all she could see was the endless expanse of the sea.

Yet, she felt it—a presence, unmistakable in its intensity.

"The Sacred Evil God... Master?!" she whispered, her voice tinged with disbelief.

And then, as if in confirmation, a crimson aura erupted from her being, mirroring the malevolent energy that had assailed her senses. An Evil Essence Orb similar to the one Mo Fan has, shone brilliantly on her wrist as if it was full of the Evil Essence!

Covering her mouth with a delicate hand, she stifled a gleeful laugh, her eyes alight with excitement.

For in that moment, she knew beyond doubt the truth of the matter. Her master, Mo Fan, had returned—his presence reverberating across the vast expanse of China.

"He's back," she whispered, her voice trembling with anticipation. "Master Mo Fan is BACK!"

With a hysterical laugh that echoed through the room, she embraced the madness of the moment, revelling in the knowledge that her beloved master had returned to reclaim his rightful place in the world.…

Deep within the ancient and majestic Pyramid of Giza, the Netherworld Emperor Osiris sat upon his golden throne, a ruler of long-forgotten times, still had no one up till this generation had it in them to destroy his Pyramid.

His form exuded a chilling aura as he observed the crimson aura with a mix of curiosity and disdain. With a subtle movement of his hand, he clenched his fist, causing the air around him to thicken with an ominous energy.

The undead king's presence seemed to devour everything in its path, yet even he could not quell the overwhelming aura of the Sacred Evil God.

A sinister grin spread across his desiccated lips as he chuckled darkly, his voice echoing through the ancient chamber.

“So, the Sacred Evil God has returned,” Khufu murmured, his voice a cold whisper that reverberated off the ancient Pyramid.

“It seems even death cannot contain your malevolence. Very well, let the games begin.”

Meanwhile, in the heart of the Kunlun Mountains lies a deep, dense forest, a sanctuary for sacred beasts and divine creatures.

Towering ancient trees create a canopy that filters the sunlight, casting a dappled, mystical light over the forest floor.

The air is thick with the scent of earth and foliage, and the sound of rustling leaves and distant bird songs fills the air.

Amidst this natural splendour lies a peaceful glade, a paradise within a paradise.

Here, a huge Divine and Holy Fox sleeps in peaceful repose. Its fur is a shimmering golden hue, almost ethereal in the soft light.

Around it, the forest seems to hold its breath, as if in reverence for this sacred being.

The atmosphere in this part of the forest is different, charged with an otherworldly energy.

It feels as if time itself moves differently here, slower and more deliberate, in tune with the ancient rhythms of nature.

The Divine Fox sleeps on, undisturbed by the outside world, a symbol of the harmony and balance that exists in this enchanted place.

BWOOOOSH!!!!

Suddenly without any warning, an eerie wave of crimson energy burst through the forest, enveloping everything in its path.

The air crackled with malevolent power as the energy twisted and writhed, causing the very fabric of the forest to tremble.

Trees shook twisted and contorted, rocks shifted and cracked, flowers withered, and the very air seemed to hum with miasma.

The once peaceful atmosphere was filled with a sense of foreboding.

As the crimson energy threatened to consume everything, the divine fox stirred from its slumber. Sensing the unnatural and murky air, it extended its head and sniffed the air.

Achoo!

SWOOSH!!!

With a sudden sneeze as if a reflex action for smelling something dirty, the fox released a burst of divine energy that collided with the crimson aura.

THUDDRRRR!!!!!

The two forces clashed momentarily, but the golden wave exploded through the crimson wave and then, as quickly as it had come, the eerie aura dissipated, leaving the forest once again in its peaceful state.

The divine fox settled back down, its fur shimmering in the gentle moon light.

The forest returned to its natural splendour, as if the strange occurrence had never happened. The sacred beast of Kunlun continued their slumber, undisturbed by the events of the day.

In the dimly lit room, an Asian guy, revelled in the screams of his captive, relishing every moment of their agony.

His sadistic grin stretched from ear to ear as he inflicted torment upon his helpless victim, his eyes glinting with a twisted delight.

But then, as if a bolt of lightning had struck him, his eyes widened in shock and terror. An ominous aura swept over him, freezing him in place as a cold sweat broke out across his brow.

He released his grip on the man, who crumpled to the ground like a discarded ragdoll.

“What the fuck?!” Kazuaki cursed, his voice trembling with fear and disbelief. He staggered backward, his mind racing with confusion and dread.

The aura was unlike anything he had ever encountered, filling him with a sense of impending doom.

As the chilling presence enveloped him, Kazuaki’s thoughts turned to his own ambitions.

He was on the path to become the Sacred Evil God, meticulously planning and scheming for over Four decades to achieve his ultimate goal. Yet now, faced with this overwhelming aura, his confidence wavered.

“No… It can’t be…” Kazuaki muttered, his mind racing with disbelief. He had carefully avoided detection of the Holy City, inching closer to his goal with each calculated move.

Yet, the aura before him was a stark reminder of his insignificance in the grand scheme of things.

“I am the Sacred Evil God! It is I who will ascend to godhood! Me! Who dares to challenge my rightful place?!” Kazuaki roared in defiance, his fury echoing off the walls of the chamber.

As he raged, the faces of those he had devoured seemed to manifest on his own, a grotesque reminder of his past deeds and the lengths he had gone to in his pursuit of power.

Forty years of planning and scheming threatened to unravel before his eyes, leaving him teetering on the brink of madness.

For Kazuaki knew that there could only be one true Sacred Evil God every generation, and the sudden appearance of this aura threatened to derail his carefully laid plans.

“N-no! I can’t let this happen!! I.. I will become the Sacred Evil God no matter what!!” With a mixture of rage and desperation, he vowed to overcome this new obstacle, no matter the cost. After all, he had come too far to let anyone else claim his destiny.

MO FAN’S CURRENT PROGRESS.

 CANNOT BE MEASURED
