A small pebble rolled out and fell...

A person covered in muck of gutter was panting for breath while looking at the caved in tunnel.

He was utterly terrified at the sight as he himself would’ve died, if he was not precise in his moments a few seconds earlier...

“Fu... Fuck... Yeah!!” Mo Fan still made a fist pump even though he was hella tired!

He was ecstatic! 

Because the blast from earlier really closed off the underground tunnels exit from the sewer!

Right now, he was in the underground tunnel made by the Black Vatican with the help of Colossal Eyed Ape Rats and One Eyed Magic Wolves and Cursed Monsters...

The underground tunnel was connected to the sewer system of the Bo City’s via Mingwen Girl’s School’s sewers!

But now that, Mo Fan blew the whole thing up, the entrance to the sewers of the Bo City from the underground tunnel was closed off for good!

He removed a magic torch ball from his space pocket! The ball torch immediately lit up the place brightly. 

“Now there’s only one path laid out for me, and that is the front!” Mo Fan smirked as he glanced ahead.

But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows too, as the place was filled with a putrid and disgusting smell and also faeces of the monsters travelling through here...

“Lets get this over with and take a nice long bath afterwards.” Mo Fan said as he started sprinting!

Due to the loud noise of Explosion and the destruction of the building, the locals quickly rushed on the scene. They were dumbfounded looking at the sudden collapse of the school building. Some young dumb teens were taking selfies at the sight, not knowing of what happened there.

The City’s Beast Hunting squad soon arrived and secured the perimeter so as to not let anyone go near the school.

“Xiao Ke, you received a call about there being some kind of monster activity, right?” A tall burly man asked the sweet looking young girl beside him while looking astonished by the scene in front of him.

“Ye.. yes I did...” the girl named Xiao Ke answered while she had the same expression as the man.

“Captain Xu! I searched the area but I didn’t find traces of Human or Monster. We’ll have to clear out the rubble first” A flashy handsome guy quickly arrived while riding the wind and reported to the tall burly man. 

“I see... Call the construction sites earth mages! I want this area to be cleared out by noon.” Ordered Captain Xu Dahuang.

“Roger that!” said the handsome guy and immediately took out his phone and called someone.

Soon the whole area was filled with the news of the collapse of the building and the social media was as well.

A young guy around 18 years old quickly arrived at the place while a policeman was following him not far behind.

He was flabbergasted at the sight and was boiling with rage as he watched his plan being buried underneath the building. He quickly left the area and called the people responsible for digging up the hole and cursed at them. 

“You, M*therf*ckers!! How could you destroy the building along with the tunnel I made?!” Yu Ang furiously shouted at his phone.

“N-no sir, it wasn’t us... I-I have no idea what happened there...” The voice was utterly terrified and scared and explained hurriedly!

Yu Ang was so angry that he didn’t even want to listen to their explanation. He hung up the phone and bit his thumb in frustration!

_Shit shit shit!!!!! What am I gonna do now?! The plan is supposed to proceed in 8days from now... I can’t dig another tunnel within such a short time... I... I need to run away!_ Yu Ang thought as he was extremely flustered.

They had taken 5 years to build that tunnel slowly and steadily as they couldn’t afford to alert the people from Magic Association and Enforcement Union. They even tamed some of those lowly Colossal Eyed Ape Rats just so they could finally connect a tunnel from the Monster Wolves Kingdom to here. 

They couldn’t use the Mingwen Girls Middle School now as it was the centre of attention to so many people.

Yu Ang received a call from a Blue Deacon working for the Great Bishop.

“You’re dead!! You fucking little shit!! How dare you mess up the plan of Lord Head Priest, right before it began!” The Blue Deacon literally hurled hundreds of curses at him.

“N-no sir, it wasn’t any of my men, I really don’t know anything about this! Please trust me!” Yu quickly explained himself.

“I don’t need to hear any of your bullshit! From now on, you’re no longer a Grey Priest! You fucking bitch! Because of you, I and the Great Bishop are in jeopardy now! Just you wait till I get my hands on you!!! Also remember this, if you fail in getting the Underground Holy Spring as well, be prepared for a fate worse than death!” The Blue Deacon hung up the phone after dissing Yu Ang.

As punishment he cut off all the cultivation tools given to Yu Ang and demoted his rank from Grey Priest to a mere Black Clergy.

Yu Ang’s face was extremely dark right now! His face was covered with blue veins as he just wanted to kill that motherfucker who did him this dirty.

“N-no... The Underground Holy Spring... I need to get it no matter what!” Yu Ang said while shivering a little.

“Black Sparrow, did you find the person behind this?” A man wearing Bright Green Robe asked solemnly.

“N-no... Lord Great Bishop.” The Blue Deacon named Black Sparrow answered nervously while kowtowing his head deep into the ground.

“I see... Well, nothing we can do about it now...” The Green Robed Great Bishop sighed lightly.

“Lord Head Priest, what should we do about our plan?” The Great Bishop asked the Head Priest in Purple Robe while bowing his head.

“The plan shall continue... It might be delayed greatly though, because of you misfits.” The head priest gave the order, and looked at the two with scorn in his eyes.

As soon as the Blue Deacon and Great Bishop heard the order, they immediately left the place!

“Ahh~ I will make it rain for you my dear lord! So please forgive these two poor little lambs!” The Purple Robed Head Priest suddenly started crying and knelt before a huge statue which was draped in the Bright Red Coat!

“Telekinetic Lightning Strike!” 

A Mysterious Silver Purple Glowed slithered around the surroundings wildly before tearing three One Eyed Magic Wolves apart!

*Haa...* 

“Fuck! Just how many of them are there?!” Mo Fan cursed!

It had been five hours since he entered the tunnel. He had lost the count of how many One Eyed Magic Wolves and Colossal Eyed Ape Rats he killed! 

“There’s just no end to them! But I suppose I came pretty far.” Mo Fan said as looked back the way he came from.

It was pitch black with no sign of any life form, because all of them were dead.

He couldn’t use any dangerous and destructive spells like that of Fire Element as it would not only collapse the whole tunnel, the fire itself will burn all the meagre oxygen present in this tunnel which would lead to his death by loss of Oxygen. 

That’s why, he was sticking to Lightning and Space Elements which were more effective when dealing with these creatures in a tight space like here, since they couldn’t dodge it.

“This tunnel entrance is in the north direction... So, if I’m right, I might be right under the Far side of Northern peak of Bo City considering the distance I covered.” Mo Fan deduced while removing out the map from his space pocket.

“So, around 15km more and I’ll reach outside the safe zone... Okay! Let’s do this!” Mo Fan said as he drank another blue coloured potion from his inventory! 

His whole body glowed as his mana of space element and lightning element which was depleted before, became full again! 

He had already drunk five of these mana potions including this one. A single one of this potion cost around Four Hundred Thousand RMB. 

It was actually a lowest level potion made for Intermediate mages to consume... But since Mo Fan was using it to refill not only Lightning Element’s but also Space Element’s mana, he did not suffer from any side effects from it.

Fuu... 

Mo Fan slowly exhaled.

He closed his eyes as he entered his spiritual world and saw countless number of Soul Remnants floating around like fireflies. 

“There are roughly Three Hundred and Ninety Soul remnants here... But not a single soul essence even after killing so many of them...” Mo Fan said in disappointment.

The drop rate of soul essence was very rare after all! Plus, it also depends on how rigorous the monster cultivates itself to form a soul essence. So, even after hunting soo~ many of these low level scrubs, it was not enough to give even a single soul essence.

Sigh... Mo Fan sighed in disappointment. He gave the signal for little loach to do it’s thing.

Suddenly, the Soul Remnants glowed and started to merge with each other! 

After merging together, four new and sparkly Soul Essences emerged and floated towards the Lightning Element Star Dust!

Four stars of Lightning Element glowed with a beautiful Sparkling glow as they were strengthened and filled with a new power!

“... Two more to go.” To be honest he was looking a lot more tired, but he didn’t stop.
