CHAPTER 40: GOING LIVE WITH MO FAN TV~

“I guess I cleared out all of them from this area…” Mo Fan said as the entire block surrounding his school was free of monsters… At least alive monsters.

The students and teachers staring from inside the dome were stupefied!

It was as if they were looking at a monster hiding in human’s skin.

They had a lot of questions but after looking at the monster carcasses and then at Mo Fan, no one uttered a single word.

Mo Fan also felt their gaze, he found it troubling to be honest… Sigh…

He stood up and flew above the Dome.

It was very windy and stormy in the sky. He was drenched in rain.

The only good thing this rain ever did to him is that, it masked his smell making him and the others difficult to find.

He saw that the Dark Wing Wolf was not above the Silver Commerce tower anymore and was somewhere at the outer side of the city!

Mo Fan devilishly grinned.

He landed back on the ground. He quickly darted to the store room and found the 10 White line marker equipment, used to make white lines on the sports ground. He filled the tanks with white ink and brought them in front of the Campus Dome!

The Campus Dome was situated right in the middle of the two school buildings, kind of in this llOll shape. Behind the Campus Dome was the mountain which served as a natural tall border to it, and in front of it was the Sports ground where all the Monster’s carcasses are littered.

Mo Fan flew above the three buildings into the air and used telekinesis to move the White Line Marker equipment and started drawing a huge circle with it, through both the buildings covering the Campus Dome right in the middle!

He was controlling all ten equipments simultaneously while splitting up his will to control them.

After making a huge circle he drew two big stars inside them even though the stars were drawn over the Campus Dome.

It was kind of a struggle to get the star proper but he did it! After that he concentrated his own mana and wrote some runic letters in the air!

The concentrated Mana was blue in colour! The letters which Mo Fan wrote suddenly flew into the Magic Circle Formation and grew larger and larger as they attached to it!

Every time Mo Fan drew a letter it drained him 90% of his total mana, Mo Fan was chugging on potions like his life depended on it! If he didn’t he would end up becoming a shrivelled up mummy!

After two hundred letters he finally stopped! His hand was quivering and so was his whole body! He descended on the ground and bit his thumb. A Crimson red drop of blood immediately oozed out and was dropped onto the Magic Formation!

WOOOOOOM!!!

SWOOOOOOOOONNNNNN!!!!!!!

The moment the drop of blood came in contact with the formation, The entire Magic Formation came alive and glowed in a dazzling Lapis Lazuli for a few seconds!

Mo Fan plopped on the ground…

“Phew~ Damn! A Magic Formation of this calibre was nothing to me when I was at my peak… Now it took me all I had to just to make it… Oh, how low I’ve fallen~” Mo Fan said ironically.

Moments later, an iconic Blue dust which was normally invisible to the naked eye suddenly started gathering around inside the Enormous Magic Circle!

Mo Fan closed his eyes and sucked in the mana from the surroundings into his Star Nebulas and Star Dusts!

Truthfully speaking, if he didn’t have so many elements providing him so much Mana, this was basically an impossible feat to do!

He made a huge Mana gathering formation, which accumulated Mana from 50km in the surroundings!

“Welp, Time to trick those bastards now!” Mo Fan said as he got up and went inside the Dome!

Mo Fan didn’t waste any second and ran up to the stage! He took out his phone and noticed, the news of Bo City was already flashing with some dreary images of the city and the Darkwing Wolf.

Many of the news channels of China were flashing the calamity’s news and please pray for them and all bullshit.

Mo Fan opened the WeChat app, and started a live stream.

The topic title of the livestream was, #BoCityCalamity #Underattack #Monsters #TianLanMagicHigh #Student’sLastStand.

Since the topic of Bo City was quite hot, he immediately got 10views!

“Cool~” He smiled a little!

The phone with the live stream started floating via Mo Fan’s telekinesis! It floated above in air and captured everything happening inside the dome!

The state of the students and all. He turned the camera towards the stage where he was at.

After that, Mo Fan grabbed a mic from backstage and turned it on!

Everyone immediately covered their ears but their attention were diverged towards Mo Fan!

Some of the students were still holding onto hope that the Magic Association and Military will send out help and they will be rescued.

But what Mo Fan did, gave them a reality check! Which they absolutely didn’t want right now…

“Mo Fan what are you trying to say?” Someone in the crowd suddenly spoke.

“It means… we are on our own!”

The moment these words were left through Mo Fan’s mouth, a loud Thunderclap echoed at same time, giving him a dramatic effect.

The hearts of the students crumbled under this cruel reality.

Some of the students were broken down and started crying. Some just couldn’t accept reality.

“This calamity descended upon us far too abruptly! I can’t say anything about our friends and families… they maybe alive or… Tch!

But I know for a fact that you guys are still alive! Your heart is still beating in your chest vigorously! Even though you’re in this calamity, you still are not dead yet!

We have the power right in our hands! The Great power of Evolution known as Magic! We have the greatest power in the entire world! And right now is the time to be United and stand as one against the imminent threat of the monsters!

Well I for one knows that, I, Mo Fan, swear on the name given to me by my dear parents, that as long as there’s life in my being, I will fight! I will fight to the bitter end to stay alive! And I will fight with all of you!

Let this day, mark the day where the students of Tian Lan Magic High stood up and bravely fought against the Devils who invaded the city, instead of it being a day of tragedy…

Let this day be a reminder to the monsters, that we humans have not given up yet, and we’ll fight to the bitter end! The students were sunken into despair, their eyes were lifeless and dead. Not being able to know their families status was already very dreadful to them.

They were filled with sorrow, anguish and anger over themselves for being too powerless to do anything in this situation.

But when they heard Mo Fan’s words, their emotions were somehow magnified!

His voice appeared strong, and determined! It was almost hypnotising to hear!

They had seen Mo Fan easily taking care of the monsters outside on his own! They longed for his strength!

Their sorrows and despair slowly turned into a strong will to live!

Your Group leaders will be

Zhou Min and Director Wang for Fire Element,

He Yu and Director Zhou for Water Element,

Zhang Xiaohou and Teacher Xue Musheng for Wind Element,

Mu Bai and Director Zhao for Ice Element,

Xu Zhaoting and Director Li for Light Element, and

Director Chen for Earth Element.

Now hurry up and split up! Go towards where your group leaders are standing! I’ll give you five minutes!”

Mo Fan arranged all the students and separated them as per their elements!

Within five minutes according to his instructions the students formed groups! They acted disciplined.

Mo Fan counted them and it seemed that they were roughly 270 to 280 people in a group!

There were Six groups of students split up according to their elements!

The highest seemed to be of Fire Element and Earth Element!

Everyone even the teachers were extremely cooperative because of Mo Fan’s fusion spell affecting them! They didn’t think or try to question his decision right now. They smoothly acted on it!

“Okay Good job, now Earth Mages, further divide yourselves into a group of Ten and build a 35m tall and 7m wide wall in front of the entrance by taking support of the two neighbouring school building!

Truthfully, if they’re up against only Servant Class Monsters, then yes, this strategy will work until some time! But the moment, Warrior Level Monsters start showing up or if the Commander class Dark Wing Wolf notices them, it is the end for them!

But Mo Fan needed all the time he could get until all the… or at least most of the remaining people in the city are evacuated to this makeshift shelter he was building!

He knew more than anyone how reckless he was being, but because of Wolfy awakening his new ability of controlling his species, he found a new hope for his birth city’s people and didn’t want to abandon them until he has tried all the things he could!
