Name: | Blue Sea Sprite |
Rank: | D |
Type: | Sprite |
Attribute: | Water |
Parameters: | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
STR: D | VIT: F | MAG: F | RES: E | SPD: E | DEX: D |
Appearance:
The appearance of the Blue Sea Sprite is not so different from when they were Water Sprites, but they have gained tattoos that represent the sea and water across their bodies.
Description:
A Blue Sea Sprite is a different evolved form of the Water Sprite instead of the normal Blue Water Sprite evolution.
The evolution to become a Blue Sea Sprite is only available for the Water Sprite that has raised their [Water Element] skill to a level above 30 and they need to have a [Swimming] skill at a certain level.
If both of these requirements are fulfilled, the Blue Sea Sprite evolution option will replace the Blue Water Sprite evolution option when the Water Sprite reaches level 40, their maximum level.
Abilities:
Said to be an incarnation of the sea, the Blue Sea Sprite can create pure water with just mana, and it can create a disruptive force that can fatally damage anything in its path. This is said to represent how the ocean's change from calm to stormy.
As every sprite races at rank D or higher, the Blue Sea Sprite gains bonus proficiency in certain skills. In their case, it is a bonus to water-attribute skills, like with the Blue Water Sprite, and naval-related skills. The bonus is an increase of 15% for water-attribute skills and 10% for naval-related skills.

Lily's comment: Then, all sprites get bonus EXP? That's unfair! Unfair, unfair, unfair, UNFAIR!!
Garami's comment: They are technically weaker than other humanoid species, miss growing-only-by-eating chimera. Mira's only a crazy exception to that rule.
of all the races that have appeared, Lily's is the most unfair. I am not considering dragons, they are pure appeal. Lily can literally have almost all kinds of skills, and the best thing is that she doesn't even have to spend her points or get a class to have it, ranging from status enhancement skills, physical skills, elemental skills to weapon skills, for example that praying mantis that almost killed Marc had a sword skill, and as long as Lily trains her skills she can earn many points for honing her skills or winning a high level class.
@Greydra, it was said that the species has a status limiter, so that people's statistics do not harm their own body, Garami's condition greatly restricts the status of strength and vitality. And in the case of Lily ??
Well, one of the worst creatures on Terra Sol is a chimera after all...
And for your question, the growth chimera's status limit is decided on what monster they have eaten. If their diet consists only of muscle-headed monsters, then their status limit for STR and VIT will be less strict than for MAG and the rest. Of course, if she eats something weak in STR after that, the status limit will be recalibrated to match the average of the different meal's different status limits.
Meaning, Lily's limits are always changing. But as she doesn't care what she eats, as longs as long the food's not bugs, taste bad, or are cute animals. So her status limits are best considered as average, with no specific specialty.
However, it's important to take notice that the status limits is an ability of the monsters she eats, so the chance for her to gain those limits are equally high to the chance of obtaining a new skill, meaning 2-to-3% at most.
@Greydra I understand. And the future developments of Lily ?? from what I saw today, Lily is like a canvas that gains color with the brushstrokes of an artist, starting at the edges and centering on something. Starting from the background, Lily is qualifying for hand-to-hand combat which leads to an inclination of her status to strength. But it has few elemental qualities. Lily's future evolutions would she gain a racial attribute ?? something like terrestrial chimera, aquatic chimera, flaming chimera ??
@Shoto They ARE possible, but I've not decided yet. It's probably gonna be influenced by the monsters the group's gonna face from now on. Also, there's a special ability limited to certain chimera-species that's gonna be introduced in the next chapter. Look forward to it.
@Greydra looking forward to when Lily grows up and becomes a victim of Garami ...
