Valley of Peace, a few days ago, Pô POV

A few days had passed since the dragon warrior had been chosen. The Furious FIve were not as welcoming as Pô had imagined, and daily training was tough. At one point, Pô even thought that Master Shifu wanted him to quit.

At the end of a hard day's training, Pô fought one battle after another, against Viper, Monkey, Crane and even Master Shifu. At the end of the day, he was receiving an acupuncture session from Mantis to soothe his aching body.

"Seeing how hard Master Shifu is on me, it's almost as if he wants me to leave." Pô said before crying out painfully as Mantis inserted a needle into one of his meridians.

"Master Shifu wasn't always so tough. He became like that after the problems caused by Tai..." Viper replied.

"Don't mention his name. You know very well that Master Shifu doesn't like people talking about him" Said mantis cutting off viper.

"Who?" Pô asked

"Tai Lung" Said tigress abruptly opening the door after having discreetly listened to their previous conversation.

"Tigress, we're not allowed to talk about it!" Mantis retorted.

"If he stays here, he'll find out sooner or later, so it's best to tell him straight away" replied tigress.

"Thanks, but I know who Tai Lung is. He was a former disciple of Master Shifu who became evil and did bad things" said Pô, realizing that the more he talked, the less he knew about the subject.

"True, but you don't know the whole story" Said Tigress before starting to tell the story between Shifu and Tai Lung.

"Tai Lung was more than Shifu's disciple, he was his adopted son. Master Shifu found him abandoned outside the temple gate when he was just a baby. Shifu looked after him like a father until, a few years later, where Shifu  discovered in Tai Lung, an incredible talent for kung fu. Shifu began to train him, and in less than twenty years he became a powerful kung fu master. Tai Lung wished to become the dragon warrior and became obsessed with the secret scroll, but Oogway, seeing the shadow in the leopard's heart, never gave him the chance to obtain the scroll. Mad with rage, Tai Lung caused destruction in the Valley of Peace and tried to take the secret scroll by force. Shifu tried to stop his son, but failed because he couldn't bring himself to fight him. In the end, it was Oogway who put him out of action then Shifu imprisoned him in a prison specially designed to hold him captive."

"After that, Shifu closed his heart and began to train all his next disciples with coldness, rigor and discipline" Said Tigress in a bitter tone as she finished telling Po the story.

At the same time, elsewhere in the temple

Flying as fast as he could Zeng the messenger, returned as quickly as possible to the Valley of Peace to tell Master Shifu of the destruction of Chorh-Gom prison and Tai Lung's escape.

"Oh, Zeng, I hope you've brought me some good news".

"..." Zeng told Shifu everything.

A short moment later, Shifu ran as fast as he could up the hill where Oogway was meditating under a peach tree.

"Master Oogway, bad news!" Shifu began before being interrupted by the turtle.

"Come on Shifu, there's no good news or bad news, just news" Said Oogway philosophically before being interrupted in turn by Shifu.

"Your vision was right, Master. Tai Lung has escaped from Chorh-Gom prison and we have no idea where he is but he’s certainly coming here."

"...Indeed. That's bad news... if you don't take into account that we have the dragon warrior to stop Tai Lung" replied Oogway.

"The panda? He's not the dragon warrior! He wasn't even supposed to be here!  It was an accident!" Said Shifu worried

"There are no accidents" replied Oogway

"I know ... you've already said that master ... twice" sighted Shifu

"You have to give the panda a chance and you need to let go of the illusion of control that obsesses you. Look at this tree, you can't control whether it will produce a lot of fruit or not"

"It's not an illusion, master." Said Shifu before putting a blow into the tree and grabbing a fruit before planting the seed. "I can control when the fruit falls. I can control where the seed will be planted. It's not an illusion!'"

"Certainly, you can choose where to plant the fruit. But you can't turn a peach tree into an apple tree or an orange tree. You’ll always have a peach tree. However you can help it grow, if you nurture it, but you must believe in it" Oogway replied peacefully.

"But how master ? Please help me" Begged Shifu

"You don't need my help Shifu. You need to believe... Promise me you will believe"

"I .... will try" Said Shifu.

"Good..." Oogway looked into the sky before entrusting his staff to Shifu and  approaching the top of the hill "It is time... my time. Shifu you must believe" Before disappearing amid the peach blossoms, leaving Shifu alone on the hill.

Back to the present day in the village at the foot of Chorh-Gom mountain

A few days after capturing the bandits and bringing them back to the village. The local lord's soldiers arrived to take them to prison. Lark, Ye Yan and the captain of these soldiers were speaking together.

"Thank you for your help" Remercied Lark, who entrusted the prisoners to the soldiers with Ye Yan at his side.

"No problem, currently we're looking for someone in the area. It's a dangerous prisoner whose whereabouts are unknown. We need to find him as soon as possible" Said the soldiers' captain.

"And who exactly are you looking for?" Ye Yan asked the captain.

"Tai Lung, the snow panther, he's extremely dangerous. If you spot him, leave as quickly as possible and alert the nearest soldiers" replied the captain, handing Ye Yan a stack of paper "Circulate these wanted notices in the village so that everyone will be able recognize him".

Ye Yan looked at the photo on Tai Lung's wanted notice and noticed at once that it was the spitting image of Mr Bai. "You can count on me," said Ye Yan, smiling with her eyes closed.

"In that case, there's nothing more for us to do here. Good day to you Sir, Madam" Said the captain, before taking leave with his men.

After the soldiers had left the village completely. Lark and Ye Yan returned home. Arriving at their house. Ye Yan immediately put the wanted notices to burn in their fireplace.

"Is this really the right thing to do Ye Yan?" Lark asked.

"Mr Bai ... or rather Mr Tai Lung helped us and the village. Despite what the rumors say, he's not that bad. Let's keep his identity a secret so the other villagers don't find out the truth. It's the least we can do for him." Said Ye Yan as she looked coldly at the burning paper. Her eyes, devoid of any emotions."

"Fine, the final decision is up to you" Said Lark, with sweat running down his face as knew not to mess with his wife when she had that look on her face.

Somewhere on the road William POV

"You're sneezing Tai Lung? You want to rest ? " I asked, worried as we went back on the road early this morning.

"No, I'm perfectly fine. Let's hurry, our next destination is only a few hours away" Responded Tai Lung as he continued to walk.

Rewriting Oogway scenes are always a bit hard. But i think i expressed it correctly.
