NOSFERATU MANSION - DAY

 (Cristopher, Diego, Raiani and Lisa walk quickly towards their destinations. Lucas and Arthur prepare to leave, but are stopped by Vladimir.)

 VLADIMIR:Arthur, I want you to know that no matter what happens there in the Desesperados favela, you are not to blame for anything.

 ARTHUR:What's your fault, Master Vladimir?

 (Vladimir looks at Lucas, giving a meaningful look.)

 VLADIMIR: Be careful and return safely.

 (Lucas nods, and the two leave towards the favela. On the way, Arthur questions Lucas about the meaning of Vladimir's words.)

 ARTHUR:What did the master mean by that?

 LUCAS: I don't know for sure.  Let's prepare for anything.

 (The two have a simple conversation before arriving at the Desesperados favela.)

 EXT.  FAVELA DOS DESPERADOS - DAY

 (Lucas and Arthur finally arrive at the favela. The creatures seem hungry, and their houses are in terrible condition. Arthur laments the plight of the residents.)

 ARTHUR: How did this happen?

 LUCAS: Those who are not chosen by the Elders have no reason to stay here.  Outside of Sombreville, they would be burned by the sun.

 ARTHUR:Can the sun really do that?

 LUCAS: (sarcasm) You have no idea.

 (Lucas approaches a resident, and Arthur goes along.)

 LUCAS:What happened last night?

 THE RESIDENT:(irritated) You shouldn't be here.  Y... go away!

 ARTHUR: Please, we want to help.  Tell us what you know.

 (Lucas grabs the resident by the neck.)

 LUCAS:(threatening)Tell us everything or you will die right now.

 ARTHUR:(Desperately) Lucas, stop!

 (The resident, scared, starts crying and apologizes.)

 THE RESIDENT:(Crying) It was a vampire... He forced us to hunt wild wolves for him.

 ARTHUR: (scared) This is disturbing...

 (Lucas asks the man to indicate where the vampire is, and the villager agrees to take them.)

 EXT.  FAVELA MAIN STREET - DAY

 (As they walk, a snake woman approaches them in despair.)

 SNAKE WOMAN: (desperate) Have you seen my boy?  Please say you saw my Max!

 LUCAS: We didn't see anything.  Sorry.

 (The woman runs away, shouting her son's name.)

 ARTHUR:What's going on here?

 THE RESIDENT: For some time now, children have been disappearing... It's been since this vampire appeared.

 (Lucas and Arthur continue through the city until they reach an abandoned building. The resident points to the location.)

 THE RESIDENT:He lives here.  But I wouldn't go in if I were you.

 (The resident leaves hurriedly.)

 LUCAS: Thank you for the help.  Come on, Arthur.

 (The two enter the building, which is dark. They go up the floors, and the smell of blood and rot becomes more intense with each floor. When they reach the top floor, a mysterious voice greets them.)

 MYSTERIOUS VOICE: Welcome to my beloved forge.  How can I help them?

 (A tall man with white hair and burning eyes smiles tormentingly.)

 LUCAS: So, you were the one who released the wolves?

 THE MYSTERIOUS VAMPIRE:(Smiling) Yes... And now you will meet Max.

 (The vampire pulls a chain, revealing a child beside him.)
