The next day, my parents, Corinna's father, Auntie Clara, Marie-san and the three of us kids were currently in the back garden as the adults and children alike were having a tea party.

Of course, with the exception of me and Marie-san. And this tea party was more like a watch party since I'm currently being watched by everyone as I train on Alchemy.

"Since you've decided on learning Alchemy and persisted on taking me as your master for this side of magic, I'll have you learn every basic info that is about alchemy.

By the time that I will depart from the mansion in a few days, you would have enough magic control to turn this piece of gold ore into gold for you to infuse a basic magic circle to it." Marie-san said to me with a stern look on her face as she's showing me a piece of gold ore on her hands.

After closing her eyes for a moment, I observed the gold ore with my <Deep Appraisal> as the object starts to shine with a gray color of light. The gold ore's golden spots then started to spread around and covering the entirety of the stone in just a few moments.

Both Corinna and Clarence were so fascinated by what Marie-san had done that the two of them started clapping afterwards.

"Now, listen carefully. Everything around you is a byproduct of the laws of magic and nature. The monsters that we often hunt as adventurers, the plants that grow on the soil, how humans, elves, dwarves, mermen, and lycanthropes came into being. Those are the byproducts of both the laws of magic and nature.

By understanding the nature's working, we will have the capabilities of harnessing nature for our own choices, which is not much different from how magic works since it involves idealizing a phenomenon that you want to change in your surroundings to your liking.

With enough mana control, you can control your magic to various degrees." She explained.

'So, understanding nature without magic may be hard but not impossible since I knew how that turned out with my past life on Earth, but understanding magic without knowing nature means that I won't even get to control the output of my magic since magic a transformation of mana that came from one's control and one's ideas that were imagined. How interesting...' I thought as it seemed that things were just as easy as I thought.

"I remember that you have a magic control comparable to Intermediate-class spells, right?" Marie-san asked as I nodded.

In actuality, I lied on that one. Due to my <Magic Power Operation> which gifts me a Tactical Magic-level control in order to make golems and possibly Androids in the future, I also have my daily self-taught magic control training so as long as I have enough mana supply. I can basically create a Strategic-class Magic spell after I charge my spell for 6 hours straight if I have to.

But I digress...

"So... For now, since you have a control of a starting Intermediate-class Mage, I'll have you learn to crumple this paper without doing it with your hands into a size that can fit in my hand.

This is to learn more of your magic control before learning basic Alchemy from it. You may start now, Emilia-chan." Marie-san elaborated as she gave me a 0.5 m by 0.5 parchment paper as if it spawned from her hands and urged me to start.

As I was trying to concentrate my magic control to let my mana accumulate beyond the limit with my <Maximum Mana Regeneration>, I've heard Mama Diana asking Marie-san with my enhanced hearing.

"Mari-chan, are you sure you're going to teach her the basics?" Mama Diana asked Marie-san in a concerned tone.

"Why is that, Diana-chan? Do you think it's too harsh of me with this test?" Marie-san crossed her arms and asked Mama Diana back with a curious tone on her voice.

"Ummm... That's not the case, it's actually the opposite." Mama Diana answered with uncertainty.

While Mama Diana has a point, you have to manipulate your mana to the point that you can make a sphere out of it, let it envelope the paper, and make it smaller while getting the paper crumpled in this process.

And I think there's an easier way to do this and I just thought of making this new thing just now after listening to Marie-san's lecture on magic...

I let the 0.5 meter-wide parchment paper floated from my hand using my mana control to do that like telekinesis.

As I let the paper float to an ample distance from myself while lifting my right hand, I chanted.

"Non-Elemental Magic: Jūryokujō" (Gravity Field)

A violet-colored translucent sphere covered around the parchment paper, then suddenly, the paper immediately crumples to a sphere the size of my little hands before the sphere itself broke from an implosion-like motion like a glass ball breaking from a vacuum as it immediately dissipated into the atmosphere.

'Gravity Field' is a non-elemental magic that I created just now where I focused my mana to a point in space relative to my observational view, and simulated how gravity pulls down an object to its center as I see fit, like how planets work with where we are (if the name of the spell itself described the actual magic already).

The violet sphere that wrapped the parchment paper with is a safety mechanism that I've made in order to separate ambient mana from the inside, or else everyone in this world dies from a black hole that eats mana like a hungry lion.

Depending on the amount of mana you're putting on that point where gravity would be produced, you'll have a varying amounts of gravitational pull you're going to produce from as weak as pulling a paper from the ground to a gravitational level comparable to that of several Earths exerting on that parchment paper and could even create a large asteroid from the ground below and let it fall on the ground, which reminds me of a certain shounen franchise.

"W-Wha?!?!" "Woaaaaaah?!?!" The adults stood up in surprise as both Corinna and Clarence screamed in excitement as the two of them started clapping in amazement from what I did.

Meanwhile, I walked a little bit to pick up the crumpled paper that felt a little heavy due to how dense the paper is for my hand. I immediately ran to where Marie-san was and showed her the crumpled paper and said.

"Master, here's the crumpled paper now~ How did I do? Hehehe~" I acted like a child as if I was waiting for a praise from my teacher in my elementary days, which is ironically the case here since I'm also at an age for kindergarten as well.

I was immediately shocked with what I've just heard from my status just now.

After Marie-san got the ball from my hand while having a blank look on her face, I immediately checked my status screen.
