"What the hell..." I said as I woke up from my sleep with ripped bed sheets.

*Sigh*

I released a deep sigh as I looked at the new set of black claws coming from my fingers, I could tell they were extremely sharp and my bedsheets were a testament to that.

It's been a week since I began the fusion process, and while it's been progressing smoothly I've gone through some changes since a week ago. My teeth had grown much stronger, especially my canine teeth which had grown larger and sharper, I had put on around 40 pounds of weight and grown to 7'0" (or) 213cm, and just this morning I woke up with black claws from my fingers, I was evolving rapidly.

Everything that I gained from Wolverine was enhancing every day, I had to re-adjust to my senses every single fucking morning, and while it was good to have good senses I was constantly being overloaded by a barrage of things. Sometimes they were good, sometimes they were bad, the point was I wanted to get this evolution over with already so that I could get used to my senses and be stable.

Of course, along with the increase in my senses and instincts, I also had an increase in agitation but unlike before I wasn't helpless like I was before. As time went on and I contemplated about my constant agitation more I realized that I just needed to accept it for what it was, it was out of my immediate control and it was now a part of my day-to-day life and that alone helped me immensely.

Accepting my emotions for what they were made things easier for me, I wasn't as nice and gentle as I was before but so what, I was me and that's all that mattered. 

The progress of my fusion was going well, in around four days I should be finished if I continued the fusion process for 8 hours every day. Also, surprisingly the team hadn't been called for us since the last time with Clayface, it didn't seem like we were needed much.

My relationship with Raven had improved as well, if I wasn't persisting in the fusion I was with her, we either relaxed together or making out as we lusted after each other's bodies, it was one or the other.

Raven was a quiet and passive woman, she didn't do much of anything or show much emotion to anyone other than me but when we got started kissing her it was like her switch flips, all of that affection and passion that she hides away within herself pours out onto me and I love every moment of it.

Sitting up on my bed I leaned against the wall before looking down at my hand or more specifically the claws on my hand, I wanted to retract them as it would be inconvenient to keep them out, and moments later the razor-sharp claws were gone.

"Good." I said as my claws retracted causing my regular fingernails to return.

With my new claws now retracted I quickly made my way into the shower. The shower was a place where I was able to adjust to my senses better, the sound of the water hitting the floor, and the feeling of the air pressure changing while the water fell onto me, I was able to get used to my senses much quicker in the shower than when I was outside of it.

Running my hands through my hair something caught my attention, the mark of the outsider, it had broken apart in some places. I was surprised to see that my mark had changed, it hadn't happened ever since my birth but now that I was doing something big with the void energy something happened to the mark and I couldn't help but feel that it was a good change.

'I'll pay more attention to it from now on.' I said as I stopped looking at the mark before getting out of the shower and drying myself off with a towel.

"Morning." Raven said as she lay on her stomach while on my bed giving me a full view of her butt.

"Mornin'." I said as I put on some pants and a shirt.

One thing that changed over the week was that it wasn't only me going to Raven's room, she started coming into my room as well, plus we didn't really care if either of us knocked on the doors to our rooms so we just let ourselves in as she did now.

"Why were the sheets ripped?" Raven asked me as her legs swayed back and forth causing her ass to jiggle hypnotically.

"These." I said as I let my new claws out.

"It's surprising you're still developing new abilities." Raven said as she looked back down at her book.

"Yeah, I know." I replied as I walked toward the bed.

Arriving at the bed I sat down in front of Raven before lifting her chin slightly and leaning down and kissing her gently, I enjoyed her presence in the mornings like this.

"Will you train more?" Raven asked me as our lips disconnected.

"Yes, I'm not far off from finishing." I replied before continuing.

"Are you sure you want to watch though? I won't be talking or anything like that, you may get bored." I asked.

"It's fine, I'll read." Raven replied with her usual passive face.

"Alright then." I said before kissing her cheek once more.

With that done I walked to the middle of the room before sitting cross-legged and beginning the fusion process without showing any emotion on my face, I didn't want Raven to know this was painful for me, she wouldn't like that.

~ 3 hours later ~

RING! RING! RING! RING! RING!

The sound of the emergency mission alarm sounded through the base while a black light came with it, just when I thought the League didn't need us, they did.

"What's the black light for?" I asked Raven who had already used magic to change her outfit into her combat one which covered everything I loved to see which I was fine with, I didn't like so many people seeing the parts that were meant only for me.

"It's the highest tier emergency mission alarm, come on, we'll find out more in the mission room." Raven said seriously before she flew out of the room and down the hall as I trailed behind her thinking of what enemy we would face.

Raven and I made our way down the hallway and after a few turns we arrived in the mission room where we saw the rest of the team as well as a hologram of Batman.

"Currently the villain codenamed Black Adam is currently wreaking havoc through Metropolis, Superman is unable to fight him as we are all fighting another villain codenamed Amazo, your task is to delay Black Adam until the League can arrive and assist in his capture, the coordinates have already been set in the jet, depart immediately." Batman said before cutting the connection immediately.

"Let's get going." Conner said with a scowl as we all made our way to the jet.

'Amazo has the ability to replicate the abilities of others, it'll probably take the League a while to beat him like it did in canon.' I said to myself as we jogged to the Jet.

'Black Adam won't be an easy opponent either.' I thought to myself as I remembered the absolute thrashing he gave to the team in canon, he was able to handle Superboy and Wonder Girl with ease, being Kryptonian and part god doesn't mean anything to him.

We all flew in silence as we prepared for the fight we were about to enter. Everyone noticed how Batman said to stall Black Adam and not defeat him which let them know that this opponent wouldn't be an easy one so everyone was on the edge.

After another few minutes of silence, we arrived at one of the biggest buildings in Metropolis, Lex Corp. The building was in ruins, people in black outfits with a yellow lighting symbol were storming the place as if there was treasure to find but what caught our attention was the person in the middle of the street in front of the building, Black Adam.

Black Adam was standing calmly in the middle of a completely clear road devoid of any sign of life other than himself appearing as if he was waiting for something, something that only Lex Luthor would have.

"There he is." Conner said as the jet lowered into the street allowing us to either fly off or jump.

All of us now stood on the ground as we looked at Black Adam who had noticed our presence.

"They sent children? How disappointing." Black Adam said with clear disdain.

"I bet you won't say that after I'm done with you." Conner said with a scowl, the clone didn't like his power being underestimated as it was now, hence the reason for his growing anger.

"Don't overestimate yourself boy." Black Adam said as he stepped toward our group fearlessly.

"Be careful." I said to Raven as she flew next to me.

"Mhm." Raven hummed in response before returning her attention to our opponent.

It was Conner who attacked first before being followed by the kryptonian twins who attacked from attacking from the left and right.

"Hmph." Black Adam snorted as he kicked Superboy in the chest before taking one step back and grabbing the fists of the twins before pulling them toward each other causing a slapping sound to bounce off of the city walls.

"Inexperienced children, all brawn and no brain." Black Adam said before Kid Flash who had already gone into action hit him in the face but to no avail, it didn't even move him an inch.

"Flash's protege, you fail to live up to expectation." Black Adam said causing Wally to grit his teeth.

"Yo-" Wally said before having to stop as he dodged a backhand from Black Adam.

"Bastard." Superboy said as he got back up and charged at Black Adam while the twins shot lasers from their eyes with anger on their faces.

Soon enough everyone joined the fight, some used magic, some used physical attacks, and some used mental attacks, but not a damn thing worked, he outclassed the team by a large margin, just like in the canon of Young Justice.

Honestly, I found it odd that the man was able to woop the Kryptonians as he did, how the hell do you knock a Kryptonian out not once but three times? It was laughable how he handled Superboy, Supergirl, and Powergirl but I wasn't surprised either, after seeing them fight I realized that they had no technique and relied on the strength and speed like mindless plebians.

Now outside of the kryptonians, the rest weren't doing well either, everyone was on the ground in pain, unconscious, or exhausted and unable to move, all except me. I was all that was left, and that didn't make me happy, I didn't like seeing Raven on the ground gasping for breath and I didn't like the fact that the man was able to move despite me using bend time to prevent him from doing so.

Throughout this fight, I used my void abilities to fight him but the man wasn't contained by them. When I used bend time to freeze time the man was still moving, then I came to a conclusion, I wasn't freezing time like I thought I was but instead slowing it down tremendously.

In this fight, I understood something important. The dishonored verse was full of regular humans, mark bearers, and witches but nobody was near the level of the heroes and villains in DC except the Outsider himself and this meant that the knowledge that I inherited from the previous mark bearers wouldn't always hold true here, the opponents they faced and the ones I will face are on a whole new level and a good example of that is Black Adam who was stronger than any opponent Corvo or Daud ever fought.

'His blessings are also helping him as well.' I told myself, whenever I used bend time to slow time down since the color of the world fades I'm able to see other unique things and one of those things was what I assumed to be the blessings the Egyptian gods gave to Black Adam, he had many golden rays of light coming from his body.

'I'll kill this fucker.' I told myself as I looked at the weak Raven while grinding my teeth as anger surged through me.

Immediately I used blink to appear on the left side of Black Adam before sending a strike at his rib cage but he caught my arm before trying to squeeze it to snap my bones but he wasn't nearly strong enough to break adamantium.

"You have a strong body boy, but let's see if you can take this." Black Adam said still holding onto me as he sent a punch that broke the sound barrier at my stomach.

Immediately upon hearing his words, I activated null before feeling his fist impact my stomach.

BOOM!

The sound of Black Adam's punch hitting me sounded through the city as I took the full force of an attack.

I once said that null had a limit to how much it could annul and my opponent had just shown me the limit but even so it did its job in negating 60% of the power behind the attack. Blood was leaking from my seven orifices due to the attack but I had my healing factor so I would be fine, I tanked the man's attack.

"You still stand, impressive." Black Adam said before releasing my arm that now had his handprint since he was squeezing so hard.

Immediately after he let go I threw a full-powered punch at his face knowing he would catch it and sure enough, he did.

"Pitiful." Black Adam said as he stopped my punch.

Barely a moment after the man grabbed my fist I let my claws out and watched in glee as it passed through his hand with ease, adamantium claws couldn't cut through a kryptonian like Superman but Black Adam was a whole other case.

Black Adam's eyes widened in shock before he pulled back immediately but I wouldn't let him go so easily. Using my free hand I shot a web which brought me close up to him and while doing so I pulled my claws down completely mangling his hand before digging the claws from my free hand into his rib cage.

"You damn beast!" Black Adam shouted in rage as he tried to pry me off of him which worked for a moment but I wouldn't let this chance I finally gained go so easily so I opened my mouth wide showcasing my teeth which had grown far stronger as well as my long canine teeth before sinking them into the mans neck and ripping his flesh away repeated.

"GET OFF!" Black Adam shouted as he sent punch after punch into my body but he couldn't kill me because of my healing factor and he couldn't break my bones because they were too strong, he couldn't get me off.

Bite after bite, I ripped into his flesh causing him to bleed profusely, I ate his flesh like a mindless beast, I was in a stage of rage similar to the one Wolverine would enter but far worse, my instincts were in control now.

"GET OFF YOU BEAST!!!" Black Adam shouted again as he began running to walls to break my back and when that didn't work he would get something sharp to stab me and when that didn't work he tried using magic to kill me and when that didn't work he tried something else but no matter what he did, he couldn't shake my grip.

At this point, I was more beast than human, I cared not for my body that was soaked in the blood of this man and I cared not for how much of his body and blood that I had eaten, bite after bite I tore away at the man until his bones were visible while making sure to drag my claws that were latched onto him around.

"Stop them now." Batman said to Superman as he and the rest of the League arrived but I didn't notice, as I said, I was more beast than man at the moment.

"I'm on it." Superman replied as he grabbed me and threw me off of Black Adam before punching him into the air.

"GRR" I growled as I landed on a wall like Spiderman usually does not caring that my ability to walk on any surface wasn't an ability I had shown the League.

"Daud, calm down." Batman said to me who was still in rage mode, his blunt words were more of a threat than a request to the current me.

Once again I growled before preparing to attack Batman, to the current me my old target was gone now Bruce Wayne was my new one. I sprinted at him way faster than he expected which caused his eyes to widen as I prepared to stab him through the brain with my claws but a voice caused me to pause, not the members of the League who stepped up to protect Batman.

"Daud." Raven said as she walked toward me.

"Be careful, he-" Batman said to Raven before she interrupted him.

"You don't know anything." Raven snapped as she stood in front of me before holding onto my hand.

"It's okay, Daud, deep breaths." Raven said with a smile as she hugged me tight not caring about all of the blood that covered my body.

"Don't let your anger control you, I'm fine and so are you." Raven said as she soothed my anger.

Slowly but surely I regained my sanity as I held onto Raven, just as she said, she was fine and that was what mattered to me the most.
