Hello, Remmi here.

I am now about nine weeks through my first winter and I just want it to end. I am actually considering going back to a human city just to escape this sense of Malaise. When I had that thought I knew something was wrong with me.

I was currently hungry, but I was just laying on my cot, wrapped in blankets...

I realize that I am suffering from severe depression...

Lately I have spent my days making as many seeds as I can for spring. I have boxes filled with them ready to go. I am looking forward to it.

I am really depressed because I can't get any of my magic skills to level eight no matter how much I practice. it's like I have hit some kind of cap. My Creation Magic is still stuck at level five and likewise seems like it will never level up. Do you know how much I have used it! Why won't it just level up already. Sigh...

I really wish winter was over...I am so sick of being in this tiny room. The unmoving stale air fills my lungs as I lay there contemplating my current life. It's not bad exactly, just so much boredom. Hopefully when winter is over, I can build my house and find some new hobbies. Maybe tree climbing! That seems like a good hobby in my neighborhood.

I need to practice my blacksmithing skills. I really want to build my house this spring. Even if Monsters will attack me. Even if I am to end up dead, I cannot spend another winter in this place. I said before that I wouldn't feel loneliness, but I was wrong. I have taken to using illusion magic to make images of people sitting around.  My current stress release is making an image of Maribelle and cursing her until she dies. Literally I try to make the illusion kill itself in random or somehow humorous ways. My current favorites are death by rabid squirrels, and the ground cracking apart, glowing with the fires of hell. A tiny brown paw reaches out...the return of Mr. Pookie! I wonder if healing magic can cure madness...

Finally, the day has arrived. The snow had finally stopped and the first signs of it melting were beginning to show. The sun is out and you can see the blue sky. I am moving back to my tree!

Okay there is probably a week or more of winter chill left but... I... don't... care!

The only reason I didn't lose my mind to the sheer boredom, is that I maxed out Meditation. When I hit level ten, I got the unique skill Mind Palace. I can now immerse myself in my own mind. I can read the books that Alex read in his past life. Even though I technically have the memory of reading them all already, I don't mind at all. It's something to do okay... Haven't you ever finished a book and immediately started rereading it? You always miss something when reading, whether you get distracted and look at something, or skip a line of text, you will always come away with a new realization after reading the book for the second time.

I am cursing my new perfect memory though... Sigh.

Anyway, I smiled for the first time in two weeks as I weaved through the room and climbed up the ladder and opened the trapdoor. I had to weave because the room is almost full of woodcarvings. I did them by hand and only used material manipulation to finish them a bit. I didn't have any sandpaper!

The trapdoor hit the ground with a thud. I survived my first winter!

One thing my new house will have... is windows! I will no longer have to supply my own light.

When I made it to the surface, I quickly removed every bit of snow in the area, from the lake shore to the forest. I just placed it all in my storage. I even went ahead and melted all the snow on my tree using my flame butterflies. I was very careful not to burn the tree.

Once the tree was clear from the snow and dripping water, I got out my wooden ladder. I climbed back up to my old limb. Using Creation, I reopened the bark that I had used to cover up my little tree coffin. All the padding was still there. It was a little moist, so I cast dry several times until it wasn't.

I quickly got out my pillow and blanket and crawled in. I laid there for about an hour just enjoying the fresh air and blue sky. Mentally reviewing my storage, I still had a lot of trees in there from before. I was still doing pretty good on fish, but I had eaten all of the meat and berries.

I had managed to stockpile quite a few seeds. So, I was going to build a greenhouse before I built any kind of personal dwelling. I want to get my garden growing as soon as possible.

Thinking of my house, I already have the foundation for the first floor done, I can just build the exterior walls the same way. Alex was doing something called homesteading towards the end of his life. He actually built his own house by hand, so I know enough about basic construction to get the job done. With magic, the building process should not take too long, a couple of weeks at most. It should be sturdier than the houses of the other world as I can merge the wood into one solid piece.

I have not seen any monsters besides orcs around all winter long, so I feel it will be relatively safe to build here. Famous last words me. Thinking of an old habit of Alex I knocked on the tree branch. He always said "knock on wood" to counter bad luck...

After resting for a while, I climbed down and walked over to the field I had prepared before. Since it was simple, I rotated the soil and prepared a second field as well. Each field was about two hundred square feet. Thinking about how to go about all this, I got out all the iron sand and ingots I still had in my storage.

I started using creation to make large steel pipes, eventually I set them all around the perimeter of the field. I used earth magic to raise a short wall around the perimeter to hold the pipes and compressed the rock to my usual standard. I assembled all the pipes until I had a kind of slanted box shape. It was taller on the eastern side and slanted down at an angle towards the western side.

I then assembled more pipes every five feet in a checkerboard grid on all sides of the box. Now I just need to make the glass panels, which I can easily do.

I actually had to go and get more iron sand from the river to finish the grid, as I ran out. I assembled all the metal with material manipulation as it was more mana efficient than using creation magic.

Eventually I had my large metal frame complete, and it covered the entire field. I meditated to refill my mana faster. Next, I walked around the lake. Storing more snow as I went.

After getting to the far side, I started using creation to make five by five-foot glass panels using the sand from the beach around the lake. I kept using earth magic to bring up more sand from the area, so I didn't end up with a massive hole. I made the panels half an inch thick so they would be sturdy.

They were not perfectly clear and smooth. I frowned as it was hard to get them perfect for some reason. The were a little cloudy here and there as well. They would work well enough for this, but I would have to practice if I wanted nice windows for my future house...

I had to take a break about halfway through as my Mana ran out, so I took a break for lunch. I had a fish sandwich... I want more jerky.

By the time it was starting to get dark I had enough panels to cover the first greenhouse made. I put them all into my storage, there were a lot of them. Over a hundred glass panels. I will install them tomorrow.

I went back up to my tree and went to bed. I was shivering a bit, but I got out a few more blankets and used creation to close the wood over myself except for some gaps for air. My body heat quickly filled the space leaving me warm enough. I fell asleep ready to work hard tomorrow as well, happy to be above the ground once again.

The next day, after eating some breakfast. It was a fish sandwich...

Now you know why I am franticly building my greenhouse...

I only plan on making the one greenhouse; the other field will just stay a regular field. I want to plant my fruit trees and more delicate plants in the greenhouse. The hardier plants like corn and wheat will go in the second field. I walked over to the worksite and pulled a single pane of glass out of storage.

Thanks to body reinforcement I am able to lift it. Unfortunately, because of my small size, it was hard to hold and maneuver. This may take some thought...

I used material manipulation to create a resting place for the glass in the 5x5 space I had left yesterday. I then carefully put the glass in the bracket I had made to hold it. Sadly, my glass wasn't perfectly square. It was a little off.

All be told it took me about twenty minutes to manipulate the glass into the bracket then manipulate the bracket closed to hold the pane of glass. I sighed when I was done. This is going to take a long while... Oh well it will be worth it!

I got out the second pane and tried to use creation to install it, instead of having to do all that fine-tuned manipulation. It took three quarters of my Mana. Apparently, it is judged by my magic to be one very large item even if I didn't visualize it that way... So, using creation is obviously out. This is the first time I have had such a problem with Creation Magic, including it not making the glass perfectly square. Alex was mainly a potter, not a woodworker so he never needed things to be perfectly square that often. The Woodworking skill can autocorrect for this a bit, but apparently it isn't working because it is glass and not wood. I guess slow and steady it is then...

I finished closing the bracket around the last glass panel I had to install. It has taken me almost two weeks to finish. But I am finally done, and it looks fantastic!

Although if somebody approached here, they would probably be very confused. I chuckled at the thought. One lone fancy greenhouse by a lake in the middle of a forest filled with monsters.

Because it took me so much longer to finish, the first buds of spring were forming on the trees that actually lost their leaves. The Mana Oak trees didn't lose their leaves even in winter, but they did turn from their usual blue green color to a very light blue, almost white.

I am currently feeling extreme contentment. This was a difficult project to be sure. It took me a long time, not only because I had to carefully manipulate each bracket and pane of glass. But I had to make scaffolding to reach the higher parts of the greenhouse. All of that together was very time consuming and mana intensive.

I walked over and pulled open the glass door and walked inside.

By the way, I had completely forgotten about the need for a door when I was building the initial frame. I had to redesign a door frame into the front, then make the long rectangular glass panels for it as it was a different shape. I felt like a real dummy at the time. The back of my head earned many slaps that day.

I bent down and scooped up a handful of rich black soil. I had mixed in soil from the forest to make it even richer. I will start a compost bin once I get things growing. I don't want to deplete my soil after all.

I looked up at the beautiful gleaming ceiling and smiled. I felt like I had really accomplished something great and that this place was starting to feel like a real home already. Once I have my house built, I am sure I will be able to be happy here. Who needs to live with those damn humans when I can live in such a great place and do everything on my own. I understand that every human can't be evil. But I feel like the darkness of the society would make them self-serving. Would a mother kill a man to feed her starving children? This question explains my thoughts on humanity. I feel that the desperation will breed the necessity for evil.

I don't know much about human society as I never left the slums in my memory, but I know there are nobles, and I know that any society that allows the cruelty I witnessed being heaped on slaves cannot be run by the just. Just the fact that I was going to be sold as a slave so easily is ridiculous. I mean really! Is there no oversight? Could you just kidnap a woman off the streets and sell her for some spare change? No, I don't ever want to live in a human city again. I would never be able to drop my guard. Nor would I be able to trust anyone after what happened with Maribelle. Maybe there are elves or something I could live with eventually... Also, I am amazed the Beast Kingdom, home of the demi-humans, has not declared war on the human country. If I was the leader of a country, there is no way I would accept my people being slaves... Finishing with that somber topic I would rather get my veggies started!

I then got out my box of fruit tree seeds.

The Western side of the greenhouse was twenty feet tall. I had designed it that big with the trees in mind, so they would have plenty of room to grow in the future. I then proceeded to plant my fruit trees in groupings of four. Apples, pears, black cherries, lemons, oranges and avocados.

I would have to heat my greenhouse somehow in the winter, but with fire and light magic I think I can make it work...

I then, in the next rows in planted some banana trees, pineapples, honeydews and watermelon. I planted some pumpkins as a test as well. I next got out my other seeds and filled the rest of the space with tomatoes, several types of peppers, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, spinach, Soybeans, garlic, tea plants, onions and zucchini.

On the eastern inner wall, I had long wooden tables that stretched all the way down. Here I had many ceramic planters made with the clay I had previously collected. I planted a massive herb garden here in pots of various sizes. Black pepper, cumin, basil, oregano, vanilla, chives, lavender, rosemary, ginger, and many more!

After I finished all my planting it was late afternoon, and the sun was just beginning to sink below the tree line. I looked out over the ground and could not wait to see it with all the plants grown, covered in fresh fruit and vegetables.

I decided to call it a day. I was walking towards my tree when my detection picked up a large group of incoming enemies. They were medium sized, four legs... about twenty-six of them... Suddenly I heard a howl, and a group of largish solid black wolves broke the tree line. I had completely forgotten to put out beast repellants...

I used observation and I saw they were Dire wolves. E rank monsters. Well, I have never eaten wolves before, but I can at least replenish my salt and meat.

By the way I had discovered why making the beef jerky was so expensive mana wise. When I used creation to make it, it actually converted the orc meat into beef. It was in fact real beef jerky. I had wondered why it was so expensive to make when all it was doing was drying it out.

The wolves were running right at me. They split into three groups so they could completely surround me.

I made the appropriate number of wind blades and launched them. About seven of them were killed, a few more injured and the rest had dodged the attack, scattering in every direction.

They had stopped about fifteen feet away and were all barking and snarling at me, spittle was flying from their open maws and their long teeth glinted dangerously.

Since their movement stopped for a moment, I made stone spears erupt from beneath them, skewering a few and smashing the rest up into the air. It was a complete surprise attack.

Or so I had thought, suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my lower leg.

I instinctively flared with ice magic, a frozen fog busting from every inch of my body. Everywhere the mist touched froze instantly. I called this spell Nitro.

When I looked behind there was a wolf head sticking out from my shadow, still latched onto my leg. Its fur had a coating of ice but otherwise it seemed fine.

I grit my teeth through the pain and fired an ice spear right at its head, but it sank back into my shadow, leaving me warily looking around for it. These guys are really fast and agile. I hope they all can't leap through the shadows like that.

I rolled to the side and jumped back to my feet as I detected one of the wolves jumping behind me aiming for my neck. I made a spiraling ring of fire surround me in a rotating ring. I pulled out a potion thinking I had bought myself a few seconds, but the other wolf jumped out of my shadow and sank its teeth into my arm.

I screamed as I felt my arm snap once again, and launched a punch as hard as I could at the wolf. I hit it right in the side of its head and my fist sank in, crushing its skull and splashing blood up on my face. As its body dropped to the ground, I wasn't sure if it was unconscious or dead, so I pinned its head to the ground with a spear of light. I then launched one of my light orbs directly overhead into the sky. It was already getting dark, and the sun had started to peek under the tree line.

The ring of fire was still holding off the other wolves, so I picked up the potion I had dropped and pulled out the stopper with my teeth. I chugged it down while warily watching my surroundings. Several of the wolves had moved closer to the edge of my flame wall and I sensed another running at their position as fast as it could. Quickly understanding what was about to happen I made a wind blade angled straight up towards their position. Sure enough, it launched itself in the air by using the other two wolves as a launchpad.

As soon as it crossed the boundary of my flame wall, I launched my highly compressed air blade and it cut it right in half from snout to tail. Blood and organs fell on me as I ducked to avoid its falling body. There should now be about fifteen of them left.

I don't know why my stone spears didn't finish them all off, they were all compressed to a high degree...

I screamed again as I used healing magic on my arm, and it snapped back in place. I wanted to heal my leg but the Mana I had loaded into the flame wall was about to run out and it was already fading, I just didn't have time.

Seeing my barrier weakening the wolves all sprinted towards me once again from every direction.

In response I used a nifty spell I had thought of over the winter I called flash.

A small sphere of super bright light flashed into the air the moment my flame barrier dropped. The wolves all closed their eyes, and I used illusion magic to create ten copies of myself that ran in different directions. At the same time more compressed wind blades launched from my position and I manage to kill another six wolves.

A wolf once again ripped into my leg making me fall. Damn, they must have known from the smell of my blood. The illusions were useless...

I used a flamethrower spell to turn that wolf into a charcoal corpse.

I then created ten massive balls of flame in the air above me and they all quickly compressed into the size of golf balls. I was done playing around, these guys are smart and dangerous. The other surviving wolves were watching me warily.

There was a howl and they turned to run back into the forest and escape.

I fired all ten of my now tiny balls of flame towards the retreating wolves, some hit ahead of them and others behind.

As soon as the fireballs contacted any object they exploded with a large amount of force. Dirt and blood flew everywhere in the surroundings as each ball exploded with the force of a grenade.

Three of the wolves had survived and made it to the tree line, I then saw a pair of red eyes shining in the shadows of the forest. I then saw an absolutely massive black wolf step forward staring at me with hatred at the edge of the trees. This one was three times the size of the others and had red glowing eyes...

It turned around and vanished into the trees, fading quickly as it passed into the already thick fog of the forest. I sank to the ground as I understood that I had very nearly died. That last wolf was scary, I didn't even have time to use observation on it.

I didn't think mere wolves would force me to use my ultimate secret move. I quickly used light magic to heal my leg and other injuries.

I walked over and climbed up into my tree. As I climbed up, I used clean on myself twice. My whole body was covered in sticky blood, it felt gross. I wanted to take a bath as well, but I was just too exhausted. I had already used a lot of my Mana before I even fought those wolves and now my mana is really low. I thought I had grown my reserves enough already, but I guess I am not even close.  I laid down in my little cubby and was too tired to even cry.

I laid there for a long while, wondering if I can actually survive here. My skill levels are high, so I thought I had gotten strong, but I guess I am still lacking in experience...

As I was laying there staring up at the two full Moons in the sky, I heard a sound, it sounded like a jet coming out a supersonic flight, a loud boom shook through the air. I looked over towards the lake, and on the far side a massive shadow was descending from the sky. As it grew closer it swelled in size until it was absolutely massive.  It was a monstrously huge green Dragon. It landed and I almost fell out of my tree because the ground shook so hard. When I say large, you just won't understand from the word just how absolutely massive it is. It is gargantuan, megalithic. It is like a Superbowl Dome from Alex's memories. And it had a …presence. Like it produced its own gravity, it felt like even the trees wanted to lower themselves at its mere presence. Its scales glinted in the moonlight as it lowered its giant horned head to the lake to take a drink. I'm pretty sure the level of water in that huge lake dropped an inch just from it taking a single swallow. It was gulping down water and the lake was getting lower and lower. It seemed distracted, and I sat there frozen, trying to pretend I would not need to clean my pants tomorrow. Then I snapped out of it. I had to know, had to know how weak I was in comparison. I have no doubts that I could never defeat this thing even if I trained for a thousand years. But still, I want to know... I then just casually thought the word Observe.

My head suddenly felt like it was slapped with a hammer. I just got a huge mental list of question marks for a second, then there was some kind of rebound that nearly split my head open. Suddenly the Dragon snapped his head up and looked right at me. His eye was a fiery golden orange color with a slit pupil the size of a small house. I could suddenly feel its gaze tearing into me. There was a strong resistance for a moment but then something broke, and it didn't just look at me, it looked through me and saw my everything. It saw my memories, my information, my thoughts, and even my soul...

As it stared at me, I was frozen in terror. I knew I had just made a huge mistake. I was probably about to die. It was hard to see through the darkness and all of my tears, but I could have sworn the Dragon just quirked a hill sized eyebrow at me...

We continued to stare at each other, the Dragon unmoving and me about to throw up. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't even blink my eyes. I was frozen, paralyzed. I am not sure if it was due to fear or just because of the intensity of its gaze.

Wait, did that Dragon just smirk at me?

It suddenly opened its maw and roared. My eardrums shattered, as did most of the glass panels in my newly completed greenhouse. the leaves on the trees blew like a massive gust of wind hit them, and I saw cracks appearing in the rippling air, like space itself was twisting and breaking apart. Before I lost consciousness, I heard an ancient voice say into my mind...

~"Child, it is rude to look when you lack permission. Do not do it again, there are many not as forgiving as I."~

That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out...

When I finally awoke, I was still Paralyzed, I could still see that giant glowing eye like it had been burned into my memory forever. Eventually the image faded, and I suddenly could move again. I immediately started shaking.

"I c-can't b-believe I am s-still alive..."

After a while, I fled down my tree and back into my bunker. I closed myself in and did not leave for two days. I just hid in the dark, too scared to leave and too terrified to stay.

"I really don't know what I should do." I at first had the impulse to pack every single thing I owned and flee as far as my legs could take me. Maybe to a different continent... I don't even know if this planet has another continent.

But the bigger problem is... I don't know which way to go to get out of the forest. I have explored about five miles in every direction of my lake last fall and have never found a trail or path of any kind. The forest stretches on seemingly forever.  Even worse I have to make paths or markings myself. The thick mist makes it almost impossible to navigate. I am always really careful to keep track of my direction, getting lost would be really scary. The only thing I have seen other than trees and monsters in this forest is the giant icy mountains where the river flows from... Maybe I could sail down the river if I make a boat...After two days something terrible happened. I ran out of food. I was back to eating bread alone, and I hated it. I got more and more angry.

"Screw you! You Damn overgrown Lizard! Like I will let you drive me from my home, Bastard!"

I was shaking in fear or maybe rage I'm not sure anymore. I angrily stomped over to the ladder and climbed up. I slammed open the trap door so hard it sank into the ground a few inches.

I stomped over to the lake and got angry all over again because the water level was lower now. I sat down on the ground with a huff, and pouted as hard as I could... Eventually my stomach growled, and I stood up and walked over to my no longer beautiful greenhouse. Pretty much all the glass panels were shattered, hell even some of the flowerpots were shattered. I just stood there and stomped my foot angrily. I will definitely make you cry someday you shitty Dragon. After I managed to calm down again, I used storage to collect all the broken glass I could see on the ground.

At least my crops have not grown in yet. If they had it would be a lot harder to collect all the broken glass. I will try to use creation to improve my new panels. maybe I can make bulletproof glass or something...

The next thing I did was to spread Beast repellants all around the lake and my fields. I don't want any wolfpacks running up and trying to eat me while I am working... That last attack was more than enough for me. Speaking of the wolves, I had tried out my new analyze skill on the bodies. I finally found the one that could move through the shadows. Apparently, it had a skill called shadow travel. That's pretty cool... I want it but I don't know how to do it. Maybe through darkness magic or something. I had tried to get darkness magic before, but I could never figure out how to convert my Mana to it as of yet. Maybe in the future. I had not collected the bodies, so they had been laying out for several days. I didn't want to risk getting sick, so I counted the meat as lost...

For the next week I ate nothing but bread as punishment for my stupidity. I should have never tried to observe that... Dragon. He was right about one thing, it's an invasion of privacy! I took a break to cry again as I remembered him looking through me. I felt really violated, like he had seen through all my innermost thoughts and secrets.

All I did during the next week is repair and improve the glass panels of my greenhouse. Trying to distract myself from my recent traumatic experience. I took another bite of my dry bread. I grimaced... It's not bad necessarily, it's just dry and plain... So dry... After today I will finish and finally go hunting again. I am looking forward to some orc sandwiches!

Finally, after I had finished. My greenhouse looked like new, the pottery had been repaired and the herbs replanted. Some of the seeds I had planted had actually sprouted during the past week. I was really happy when I saw that. I was worried that because I created them with magic they would not grow. I can't wait to eat some tasty things. Alex was a good cook, and I had a lot of recipes that I wanted to try from his world. But for that I would need some ingredients. It is now only a matter of time.

One good thing is that with all the practice my glass panels were much nicer. They were crystal clear and flat with squared edges. They were also stronger. I just focused my creation spell on making them strong and sturdy. I can no longer shatter them at all. This is why it actually took me a whole week of hard work even though I could reform the panels much faster than before.

Next, I am going to build my house and maybe a wall as well. It would at least keep out the riffraff monsters like orcs from wandering in and smashing my greenhouse. Hopefully I can hide this whole area somehow. Illusion magic maybe... Oh! Wasn't one of the magic staples in fantasy novels barriers? Maybe there is a way to make a magic barrier!  Barriers sure would be useful. I smiled as I imagined that Dragon trying to bite me, only to shatter his fangs on my barrier.

I walked down to the lake and sat at my picnic table. Which now had a crack in it... "Damn saggy-winged worm I hope you get scale rot!" I felt my Mana stir a bit when I screamed that, but nothing seems to have happened. I will check it later, for now I have some barriers to make!

I fixed the table and sat there relaxing by the lake, trying to clear my mind. My stomach growled. I need to get more food... All the wolves I had killed previously had either been scavenged by something or started to rot while I had been... meditating on important life choices. I hate wasting food.

Sigh... So much wasted meat. But for now, I had something I needed to figure out. My detection magic already works kind of like a barrier. So, I closed my eyes and gathered my magic power, I pushed it out of my body while trying to imagine it taking the form of a hard shield that surrounds my body. A shield that protects me from my enemies' attacks. It took a while but eventually I felt something click into place and even more of my magic got sucked out of my body. I opened my eyes to see a glowing transparent dome surrounding my body like a bubble. I tapped on it, but my hand went right through. Huh maybe it doesn't block the caster. I got a rock from my storage and threw it straight up. Gravity took over and it fell back towards my new barrier. It hit and rolled off towards the side. I don't know the extent of attacks it can block but it works at least.

Next, I continued my testing by firing various spells out of the barrier. They all passed through no problem. As a final test I just walked out of the barrier. I could go out no problem. When I tried to go back in, I felt like the magic requested me permission to allow someone to pass. I gave it and was allowed to pass back through. So, it appears I can easily pass through, but others need my permission to go through. Useful. The request is so fast I am able to get permission in an instant. Even while running, I can pass back through the barrier with no pause. The first time I tried running through it I didn't give permission fast enough and slammed into the barrier, shattering my own nose... While I healed my nose, I decide to check my status to see if anything has changed after the dragon, especially now that I have new magic.

Well... I would really like to ask, what exactly... the hell... is all this shit!

I have a last name now apparently... Ekatneotia  huh...Never heard of it!  Kind of a mouth full. Oh! maybe it's supposed to be divided like a middle name. Doesn't sound bad that way I guess, Remmi Ekatn Eotia. There are some weird symbols though. Maybe its in another language or something.

And my occupations. no... Just no. I guess that name is my mothers. It does say Daughter after all. What was it called... Matronymic name? Where you inherit your surname from your mother instead of your father.

I am just going to pretend I never saw any of that. Forget about it. It is too complicated. Like it matters anyway since I was dumped in an orphanage, either my parents didn't want me, or they are dead. So, the name doesn't really matter.

My race is Elysian. Hmmm Alex has a few relating memories of an Elysium. Wasn't that the afterlife. Is this because of Alex then, I have somebodies' soul from the afterlife. maybe... I just don't know. Who am I supposed to ask anyway! Is having somebody else's soul really enough to change your race though?

This all has to be because of that damn Dragon somehow.

When my observation failed, and it did... w-whatever to l-look at m-me... Ah I started shaking again. Damn Dragon, this happens whenever I remember about that.

I have a pretty bad trauma now, I guess. Can I get a therapist please? After my panic attack subsided, I continued on with my status changes.

Anyway, after that, it must have somehow fully leveled up my observation skills when I tried to see that damn dragons' stats. I never saw them though, just question marks. And when it observed me, I had felt something trying to stop it from seeing me, and now it showed this Concealment skill on my status. I wonder if it could actually see through it or not.

It sounds damn impressive anyway, Divine Concealment. And I guess since it is showing in a different color, it is hiding the information. While looking at my status page I stared at my All Magic Aptitude skill and said, "Divine Concealment." Sure enough, the text turned a different color in my status page. But it turned grey instead of blue. Hmmm, Oh I know! I again focused on the skill All Magic aptitude and said, "disguise of the immortalis" Sure enough it turned Blue. Hopefully with the color changed it is still disguising my status from others. Or maybe the Dragon broke through it and that's why it showed up... Well, I will just have to ask one of my close friends to appraise me...

Eh, whatever I don't care anymore. I got my barrier magic and some other new skills... Oh, magic resistance, very nice! A high level as well. He really must have cast something on me to paralyze me. It was the first time I was attacked by magic directly after all. I wonder what it was, a mental attack with telepathy? I guess I will have to figure out how to defend my mind in the future.

Now! I just need to level up my barrier magic and hopefully create some kind of ultimate barrier. Especially one that makes dragons feel immense amounts of pain when they get near it. I at least want one that can cover and hide my new home... Lots of hard work ahead, Let's do some skill Leveling for the rest of the day and tomorrow we will go hunt some meat!
