It's a funny story about how this came to be. I have a good friend who is really into fanfiction, I'm a close friend of the family and my friends teenage daughter wrote herself into a web novel to come out to her parents. It's not posted anywhere because she is really shy, but she let me read it. I am a huge patron of the arts, so I was very moved by her whole story. I thought it was an amazing way to overcome the stressful issue of coming out to your parents. Ever since then she always complains how there are not enough decent girl/girl stories out there. So, I asked her to recommend a few to me she liked and tried to write this for her. I pulled a lot of inspiration from two of the stories that I enjoyed myself.

I thought both were great and I decided to try to write a story my friend would enjoy based on her and my tastes. I have a background in writing but nothing like this, so I decided to give it a try. It has been years since I have written anything and It's always important in the arts to try to break out of your comfort zone and try new things. I have already written over a hundred thousand words and just need to edit everything. So, although I pulled inspiration for a few facets make no mistake I have written my own story that I hope people will enjoy for years to come.
