Frank Doyle was going places. He was popular. He was a star athlete at his high school, and had plans to turn that into a scholarship. He was somebody. Then he got marked, and his life was ruined. Sure, his mark gave him the power to teleport (sort of), but it meant he couldn't play sports anymore. It meant he didn't fit in. It meant he had to transfer to The School.
Now he wants to be a somebody again, but being a kid in a school where everyone has a superpower makes that tough. It turns out though, that he's almost as good at causing trouble as he was at baseball, and if the other kids don't like him, at least they know who he is. When a friend suggests a prank that challenges Frank's abilities, he ends up changed in a way he never expected. Will he keep trying to be a somebody, or will she embrace her true self?
Updates are planned to be weekly on Saturdays, but that may switch to every other Saturday, given the size of chapter that Frank prefers.
How does this not have any reviews?!
This story is so super solid on the writing and characterization. Plot is a big 10/10, too.
Definitely the most fun I've had in a story on this site. Major props.
I'm so glad I can be your first reviewer, Poly. Super glad I can give it 5 stars too. 🤩

Story is well written with good pacing, the characters are flawed and have depth but are not irredeemable or unreasonable. The romance doesn't drag it's feet, and is very sweet. The setting is fun, and both the setting and the characters powers have a lot of potential for intersting conflicts and expansion. I look forward to more.

Been extremely engaged and excited for each chapter update here. I admit the start didn't grab me the best but after that I've been absolutely hooked. Great job of mystery and suspense. Interestingly flawed and lovable characters. Well written fight scenes with unconventional powers, etc.
So yeah. It's Super good. :P
